The Ryan Reynolds-Scarlett Johannson divorce just became official. Or at least the paperwork was just filed that WILL make it official before long. Just a few weeks after their separation was announced, Reynolds has begun the process of officially ending his two-year marriage to Johansson. Already separated from Johansson , Reynolds filed for divorce Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court. Scarlett filed her response simultaneously. Both sides cite December 14 as their date of separation, and neither seeks spousal support in what by all accounts is a mutual, amicable split. Sources believe that the couple simply grew apart under the strain of managing two thriving careers, and are breaking up on pleasant terms. They were married in a private ceremony in Canada in 2008. It’s too bad it didn’t work out, but at least there was no real scandal involved.
