Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend but they certainly are not Jay-Z’s . In 2005 the rapper and mogul was sued by wrestler Diamond Dallas Page because the hand sign that Jigga threw up to represent the Roc-A-Fella “Dynasty” was too similar to Page’s “Diamond Cutter” hand signal. Now, according to HipHopWired , a clothing company named Volcom is suing Jay-Z’s Roc Nation because the diamond logo bears some resemblance to Volcom’s. The diamond stone used in Roc Nation ads is similar to Volcom’s logo which has been trademarked since 1991.
