San Mateo bomb squad pulled up on Mark Zuckerberg’s block after a report of the threat came from almost 3,000 miles away via the NYPD Crime Stoppers Unit. All the buildings that were evacuated were cleared as safe and employees have returned to work. “We take the safety and security of our people at Facebook extremely seriously and are glad that everyone is safe,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “We are working closely with local authorities to investigate this threat and further monitor the situation.” It’s really wild in America these days.
