Girl Meets World: First Footage!!!!!

It’s about to be a whole new world on The Disney Channel. A little more over a week since that network unveiled the first-ever  Girl Meets World cast photo , it is has now gone ahead and outdone itself, releasing the first-ever footage from this wildly anticipated spinoff. In the following trailer, we see Rowan Blanchard’s Riley complaining about how she has to live in her dad’s universe after he nabs her trying to sneak out of her bedroom. “How long do I have to live in my father’s world?” she asks in a clear reference to the original ABC series. “Until you make it yours,” Cory answers. Cue an entrance by Danielle Fishel as Topanga, along with an increased heart rate from men around the world. Check out the promo now: Girl Meets World Teaser

Girl Meets World Casts Peyton Meyer as Riley’s Love Interest

We all fell in love with Cory and Topanga as they fell in love with each other. Will we do the same with her daughter Riley and her newly-cast crush? Peyton Meyer has been cast on the Boy Meets World spinoff as Tristan Friar, the classmate and first love interest of Cory and Topanga’s child. He can be seen above with Riley, played by Rowan Blanchard. Elsewhere, August Maturo will portray Riley’s five-year old brother, Louis, on Girl Meets World, which will debut on The Disney Channel in 2014. Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will reprise their roles from the original series, this time as the parents and mentors of the young protagonist. Girl Meets World: Cory & Topanga’s Wedding Rings Revealed!

Cory Matthews liked it, so he put a ring on it, and a big one at that. It’s been 13 years since Boy Meets World said goodbye to ABC, but Ben Savage’s beloved character and Danielle Fishel ‘s Topanga are about to be revived. In Girl Meets World, which focuses on their daughter Riley, we’ll see the couple basking in marital bliss and parenting on the Disney Channel. On that note, Fishel Tweeted this pic of their rings! Check it out! “Cory and Topanga … together again,” she wrote. Both Ben and Danielle seem to be enjoying their “happily married” status, sharing photos from the set and discussing the joys of being a TV parent. Excited for the Boy Meets World spinoff?   Yes!
