In an emotional interview last week, we learned that Dean McDermott is quitting the show , as he just can’t take the emotional ups and downs any longer. The troubled couple was seen running errands together, holding hands in L.A. Saturday, making a clear display of the fact that she’s sticking by her man. At least for now. “I’m not going to continue with the show,” McDermott told Access Hollywood Live last week. “We have five more shows left … I can’t do this anymore.” “I can’t keep opening a vein, opening my soul and sharing my feelings and thoughts and demons with the world,” he said, admitting he has been suicidal. As for what his “quitting” entails logistically? Nothing really. Dean will appear in the final five episodes you see if you watch True Tori online this season. Beyond that, he says he’s done, but it’s not like there’s a Season 3 in the pipeline. He could change his mind later, or Lifetime could axe the series. In any case, the show has focused hard on Dean’s tryst with Emily Goodhand , which has been increasingly difficult for the father of five to cope with. This season, fans watched Dean and Tori fight over finances, having more kids, microwaving a potato and so on. It’s become cringe-worthy to say the least. “I don’t watch it, I can’t. It’s really difficult. I can’t do it any more, for my soul,” he added, though he adds that the two are actually in a good place in real life. “I love this woman, regardless of what I’ve done. I love her and want to be with her.
