Peoples watch the smoke plume from a wildland fire burning in the Four Mile Canyon area just west of Boulder Colo. on Monday, Sept. 6, 2010. High winds pushed the smoke and ash eastward over the Colorado plains. Several hundred homes were evacuated in the foothills west of Boulder as a wind-fueled wildfire burned out of control Monday.
