Bride diaper available in 50 states, gay marriage… not

Something borrowed, something… poo? Okay, I’m no political activist. My fight for gay rights is really only evident by way of still buying Britney’s albums rather than downloading them – although I did work for the Human Rights Campaign for one day. (As it turned out, standing in 90 degree weather introducing myself with “Do you have a moment for gay rights?” wasn’t for me. Still, I did earn them $84.) But I am gay. Proudly. I am in love. Passionately. And I do want to get married, and I think about it quite often. So when I discovered the “bride diaper” by way of a local radio station’s debate during my lunch hour, I nearly called the HRC to see if I could have my one-day gig back. No, members of the LGBT community can’t get married in every state. But now, ladies and gents, bridal shops across America are unveiling the bride diaper — you know, just in case.
