Nope, no place for delicious golden pastries. Republicans are launching local boycotts and attacks on Girl Scouts of America for a barely-there relationship with Planned Parenthood. See, this is how it works: World Association of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides was present at a panel where Planned Parenthood released pamphlets on women’s rights. So the republicans see this as Girl Scouts promoting abortion. So they’re boycotting girl scout cookies. Makes sense, right? Then, to make things even crazier, Girl Scouts of America accepted a transgender child in its ranks. Gasp!
