Often in the news for his unfiltered rage, Alec Baldwin finally has something to be happy about: He’s a new father! The actor and wife Hilaria Thomas welcomed their first child together this afternoon in New York City, with the new mother Tweeting not long afterward: “We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our daughter Carmen Gabriela. She is absolutely perfect. @ABFalecbaldwin @IrelandBBaldwin.” The 28-year old yoga instructor announced she was expecting in March, while also admitting the pregnancy was unplanned. “It really is the most amazing thing, I’m lucky,” Baldwin said at the time. Carmen marks the first child for the married twosome, while the Emmy winner is the father of 17-year-old Ireland Baldwin from his previous marriage to Kim Bassinger.
