Doctors today paid tribute to the incredible fighting qualities of Patrick Swayze who defied both medics and the odds as he battled against the cancer which eventually claimed his life. Swayze died at the age of 57 after a long running battle against pancreatic cancer and experts have testified to Swayze’s courage in the face of such a deadly disease and marveled at how he lived for more than a year-and a-half with the disease.
