Piranha 3D Sequel Announced

Audiences didn’t bite this weekend, but the Weinsteins are happy with Piranha 3D’s $10 million take — so much so that they’ve already announced a sequel is in the works. “We are thrilled that audiences are not just loving Piranha 3D , but cheering for it,” said producer Mark Canton in a statement. “And it’s fantastic that so many critics are really getting the movie and recommending it.
