It might not be immediately obvious, what with all the schoolgirl uniforms, but the trailer you’re about to see is for the upcoming Japanese flick Tokyo Species , starring AV (that’s Japanese for “porn”) starlet Maria Ozawa in the femme fatale role originally played by Natasha Henstridge in Species (1995). The trailer doesn’t have subtitles, but they’re not really necessary: girl attempts suicide, alien sex monster takes over girl’s body, girl bares boobs repeatedly while dispatching her unlucky suitors in gruesome fashion. The difference? The aforementioned schoolgirl skirts… oh, and this one packs more tentacles in the trailer than in the entire 1995 original. What is with the Japanese and tentacles, anyway?
