Hurricane Bill reaches Category 2 strength (Reuters via Yahoo! News)

Hurricane Bill, the first hurricane of the 2009 Atlantic season, strengthened into a Category 2 storm on Monday with top winds of nearly 100 miles per hour (160 km per hour), the U.S. National Hurricane Center said.
