Man Stabs Vet According to Mail Online A man who had been out celebrating his 21st birthday is facing charges of stabbing a homeless veteran dozens of times and leaving him for dead near a train station outside Philadelphia. Dale ‘Bugsy’ Wakefield of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, was charged with attempted murder and other counts after being arrested Thursday in Baltimore following a tip-off from his own sister. The victim, 71-year-old George Mohr, an Army veteran, remained in critical condition after being found with more than 70 stab wounds around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday outside Doylestown train station. Investigators said Wakefield called his sister and said he had stabbed someone and wanted to flee to North Dakota but was in Baltimore. He was arrested several hours later after she alerted authorities. Wakefield was in custody. No motive has yet been established for the horrific attack. It wasn’t immediately clear if Wakefield had an attorney. Mohr was found unconscious and bleeding in the street. WFMZ reported that the veteran had been stabbed in the head, chest, arms, hands, back, had ‘numerous facial fractures and a brain injury.’ The 71-year-old reportedly may not survive his injuries. WFMZ stated that Wakefield has a history of violent crime and was on probation at the time of the attack. The violence needs to stop.

Another day, another school shooting . SMH. Three People Shot On Bus At Santa Monica College According to The NY Daily News Three people were shot on the campus of Santa Monica College on Friday. Witnesses said a man with a semi-automatic weapon got out of a car and began firing at passing vehicles, including a city bus. The college was quickly put on lockdown, and a suspect was found in the school’s library and taken into custody, the L.A. Times reported. After hearing reports of additional shots being fired after the initial suspect was arrested caused police to continue a search for a possible second gunman. The violence needs to cease.
