An All-Star cast is set to come together as the Suicide Squad. Warner Bros. has announced the cast for this upcoming comic book adaption, which will center on a team of super villains given one final chance at redemption by the government. Their mission will likely kill every last one of them, however. Suicide Squad Cast: Announced! So, who is on board and in what role? Jared Leto will play The Joker. Will Smith will play Deadshot. Tom Hardy will play Rick Flag. Margot Robbie will play Harley Quinn. Jai Courtney will play Boomerang. Cara Delevingne will play Enchantress. “The Warner Bros. roots are deep on this one,” Warner Bros. president Greg Silverman said in a statement. “We look forward to seeing this terrific ensemble, under David Ayer’s amazing guidance, give new meaning to what it means to be a villain and what it means to be a hero.” There has also been talk that Jesse Eisenberg will come on board as Lex Luthor, a role he’ll first fill in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The studio is yet to decide on the actress behind Amanda Waller (think Nick Fury in the Marvel films), though one name under consideration is Oprah Winfrey.
