Kerr described baby Flynn, who weighed nearly 10 pounds at birth, as “a very healthy and big baby boy” in a blog post that included a photo of her an her son. “I gave birth to him naturally; without any pain medication and it was a long, arduous and difficult labour, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him,” she said about giving birth. “We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family,” she continued. “He is our little ray of sunshine. Thank you everyone for your beautiful well wishes and your lovely thoughts. … I haven’t had a lot of time to read many comments or to respond, but please know I will when I get a chance.” News first broke of the birth earlier this month, when sources confirmed to MTV News that the pair had given birth to a baby after it was rumored that Bloom was overheard talking about his son. The couple married in July 2010, only one month after announcing their engagement. “For me, family is life. The decision to start one wasn’t complex at all,” Kerr has said about starting a family. “My career has been wonderful, but it’s not my life. I don’t feel pressure to get back to work.
