It's been a very, very busy time for Jenelle Evans these past few weeks. You know, what with filing for divorce from David Eason and all. She's left all her belongings behind to move herself and the two children she has custody of to a whole new state, she's gathered proof of David's abuse and filed a restraining order against him. All that sounds like a ton of work, even when you don't consider how taxing it all must have been emotionally for the Teen Mom 2 firebrand – whatever you think of her personally. But still, even though Jenelle's been doing all of that, she still found some time to spend with Nathan Griffith, the father of her middle child, Kaiser, and sworn enemy of David. Yes, really. Let's get into it. 1. Jenelle and Nathan Okay, so yeah, this isn’t a current picture of Jenelle and Nathan … because there aren’t many. They haven’t had the opportunity to take a photo together for the past few years because their breakup was pretty messy, and because David is the worst. 2. Gross Jenelle and David first started dating like a month after she and Nathan broke off their engagement and relationship, and it seems like David’s always been super insecure about that, to the point where Jenelle simply wasn’t allowed to speak with him. 3. Ridiculous and Terrifying We’ll never forget an early appearance of David Eason on Teen Mom 2 where he went with Jenelle to meet with Nathan to discuss custody stuff … he was so mad that he threatened to “fill this whole street with uppercut.” Yes, that happened. 4. So Immature Shortly after that, he decided that Jenelle wasn’t allowed to communicate directly with Nathan, even though she shared a small child with him. Instead, he’d be the one to deal with Nathan when it came to Kaiser. 5. Poor Kaiser And speaking of Kaiser, many fans believe that David was allegedly abusive towards him because he does look so much like his dad — more on all that in just a moment though. 6. After ages of silence, Selena Gomez has returned to us . By which we mean that she's making posts and music again. Some of that music has appeared to be directly aimed at her infamous ex, Justin Bieber, who got married just months after their last breakup. Now, a brilliant mashup of two of their songs frame the disparate tracks as part of a single conversation. Selena Gomez's lyrics in “Lose You To Love Me” are not what you'd call subtle or veiled. People spent decades debating the subject of Carly Simon's “You're So Vain.” Everybody knows that Selena's singing about the Biebs. Similarly, Justin's 2015 hit, “Sorry,” seemed to be offering a (monetizable) public apology for being a dickbag to Selena. Now, those songs have been fused into one mashup. It's a truly galaxy-brained decision. This isn't just some sappy fusion of music by a pair of exes. “It's too late now to say sorry,” Justin acknowledges in his song. As YouTube commenters pointed out, Selena sings: “Yeah.” It's no wonder that this mashup has more than 100,000 positive ratings vs only about 1,000 downvotes by, we assume, Hailey Baldwin stans. Andy Wu is the Los Angeles-based filmmaker, editor, and music producer who crafted the mashup. “It’s been 3 years since I made JELENA Megamix (2008-2016),” he acknowledges below the video. Wu adds: “Now their chapter is officially closed and done.” “I guess it’s time for everyone to move on,” he concludes. That is very correct. The mashup itself makes for easy listening if you're a big fan of both artists. If you're a diehard Selena Gomez admirer but can't often tolerate the sound of men singing, you may just want to stick to “Lose You To Love Me.” But it's worth taking a shot at the mashup, which we have included in this post. A lot of celebrities sing about their exes, but it's rare to see two such songs work together so very well. It's no surprise that Selena is singing about the Biebs … again. In late 2017, she and Justin reunited after he bent over backwards to convince her that he had changed … and that God wanted them to get together. They dated again for months, only to break up in early 2018. Whew. Just a few months later, Justin was back to dating his other ex, Hailey Baldwin. Weeks later, the two became engaged. We can't speak to what was going through Justin's mind at the time. Maybe he was just super inspired by Ariana Grande's engagement to Pete Davidson (remember that?). Maybe it was related to the controversial church that he attends — the same church that treats him like a prince and helps out on his “church dates.” Or maybe the Biebs had just reached a point in his life where he wanted to be married, and Hailey seemed like a solid plan B. As unfair as all of that is to Hailey herself (and we really do love Hailey; she deserved better context for her engagement and marriage), she's not the only victim. How did Selena feel after months of Justin insisting that they were divinely ordained, only to see him taking Hailey on the exact same church dates? Well, we don't have to wonder what she was feeling. She's expressing it all through song. At least in this mashup, she gets something of a real apology from the worst mistake she ever kept making.
Last month, Bear Brown’s pregnant lady love Raiven Adams resurfaced on social media to deliver an update on her pregnancy. At the time, she offered details on her changing list of symptoms that are making this a less than easy time for her. Now, Raiven is sharing a baby bump pic at 16 weeks, and Bear is showing off an ultrasound! “Not too big yet,” Raiven Adams begins her latest post. She continues: “But I’m sure I’ll miss the little belly when you take up all the Space and I end up looking like a watermelon.” With a hashtag, she notes that she is now 16 weeks pregnant. “My belly ring does not feel tight yet,” Raiven adds. “I have a replacement already that’s used for pregnancy.” “They say around 20 weeks to take it out or switch it,” Raiven says alongside the photo of her growing baby bump. “But as of now,” she shares, “it feels fine not uncomfortable easily moved.” “And if the Pregnancy one doesn’t work out,” Raiven says of the replacement piercing. “I’ll take it out all together depending on my body.” “No medical research shows it’s bad for pregnancy,” she notes. “Just watch your body and do what’s best for you,” Raiven advises her followers. She assures anyone reading: “I research everything I do that could possibly hurt the baby.” “I feel it’s safe,” she announces. “So as long as I have no irritation or pain,” Raiven adds. “I’ll keep it in.” She does caution followers: “This doesn’t apply if you recently had it pierced that has its own risks.” “Mine has been pierced for years,” Raiven concludes. One might ask why she went on that tangent about her navel piercing. Was it simply on her mind? We suspect that she has been bombarded with unhelpful “advice” from followers and wanted to reassure them. That poor girl. Bear Brown also gave his fans and followers an eyefull of their ultrasound. “Hey everybody! Check it out!” Bear’s proud caption begins. He gushes: “So amazing so awesome!” “Raiven’s and my baby, is at 15 weeks!” he concludes. “I can’t wait to hold this little one in my arms!” Gabe Brown, also excited to become a father, commented under his brother’s post. “I’m so happy for y’all,” Gabe begins. “I know how much this means for anyone especially you two,” he continues. Gabe concludes: “No doubt in my mind y’all will be great parents” As sweet as Gabe’s comment of course is, it’s clear that not all of the comments that Raiven and Bear have received have had the same tone. Before they discovered that Raiven was pregnant, Bear and Raiven actually broke off their engagement. Why? Because Raiven, unaccustomed to being a public figure, was bombarded with hate from nasty trolls. Some were horny for Bear, or resented how Raiven had only recently reached the spotlight, or were just hateful. Clearly, she continue to receives trolling, even some that is disguised as concern. Concern trolls are famous for sending messages to pregnant celebrities and reality stars and trying to police their every move. Rarely, it’s okay — no one should smoke while pregnant. Most of the time, it’s controlling nonsense about what brand of cereals they eat. We hope that Raiven’s experiences with fans get easier. Last Thursday, yes on Halloween, trouble came to paradise as Demi Burnett and her fiancee Kristian Haggarty both announced that they were calling off their engagement. And despite the many breakup rumors that circulated the two for months, mostly due to their lack of Instagram posts together and the fact that they hardly ever hung out, Bachelor Nation is still in shock and heartbroken for the former couple. The couple that viewers celebrated and cried for, including me, as they marked the very first same-sex proposal within the Bachelor franchise. *grabs tissues* We saw Demi go through a lot on Season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise , and even though she is usually a social media queen who always has more than enough to say, we completely understood when she revealed to the world that she needed to take a step away. “I’m not okay today and I’m going to take a break from social,” Demi tweeted shortly after the couple confirmed their split. “Thank you to everyone who is reaching out xx” According to an E! source, Demi and Kristian were not spending enough time together and eventually, it was the distance that drove them apart. “They were supposed to permanently move in together in L.A., and that never happened,” shared the source. When breakup rumors began surfacing, Demi got defensive and basically told Us Weekly to f–k off and mind their own business. However, she did drop that the two were living on opposite ends of the coasts. On top of the distance, it seems that certain family members didn’t quite approve of their pairing. Just one day before Kristian and Demi publicly split, Kristian’s sister Caitlin threw major shade at the BIP alum when she posted a revealing bikini photo to IG. “Not desperate at all…” the younger Hagarrty sister commented. ummm, ouch! Although they are no longer together, they are proud of their love story, which they explained in a lengthy and emotional joint statement. Beloved Bachelor in Paradise alum Demi Burnett faced a torrent of biphobia for her relationship with Kristian Haggerty . Though the two are now engaged, they are now facing scrutiny from fans who think that their relationship was just for show. Have they broken up already? Demi is speaking out about these rumors. Demi Burnett was at, of all things, a Dick’s Sporting Goods fashion show this week, where she spoke to Us Weekly . And she specifically addressed the rumors that she and Kristian are spending so much time apart that they appear to have broken up. “Every relationship is different,” Demi emphasizes. “And it’s like — I mean in the most respectful way — it’s nobody’s business how our relationship works,” she correctly states. Demi explains: “We both have so much going on right now.” “She’s in Florida, I’m in New York,” Demi notes. But being in separate states is just a reality for two busy professionals with their own lives. “But,” she notes. “We do spend time together.” “Just because we don’t broadcast it,” Demi states. “Doesn’t mean that we’re not together.” That makes a world of sense. Relationships don’t need performative affection every single day for the benefit of fans. They need real affection. “We’re not too far apart,” Demi notes. Florida may exist on another, chaotic plane of existence, but states on the east coast aren’t all that far apart. And they’re in the same time zone. “I think it’s important to kind of have our space,” she expresses wisely. Demi says that it’s important “just so, you know, we can develop a normal, very solid, steady relationship.” Jumping into buying a house together can be a huge mistake. Kristian and Demi are engaged, but she makes it clear that they have not taken the dive into wedding planning — not yet. “If you just jump into it and just rush everything, for me personally, that’s not how I could have a successful relationship,” Demi states. She made that clear in Paradise, and she’s absolutely right. “I have to definitely take it at a steady pace,” she expresses. She confirms that, despite their engagement: “We’re definitely just dating right now.” “There’s so much going on for both of us,” Demi continues. She says: “That it’s like, ‘Oh, planning a wedding right now just sounds so intense.’” One of the most stressful human undertakings. “So we’re definitely taking it slow,” Demi concludes. “And just enjoying our time together.” That sounds both healthy and wise! So why did they get engaged if they’re still getting a hang on dating each other? Well … probably because ABC asked them to. What we imagine is that producers called Demi to invite her to Paradise, and she was like “well, actually, I’m in a solid relationship with my girlfriend.” And producers, maybe recognizing that their entire franchise is too overwhelmingly heterosexual, saw an opportunity. They likely enticed Demi to appear on the show and invited Kristian, that way they could have some much-needed bi representation. On Monday (Oct. 7), the happy couple lavishly wed in front of their family and friends as Safaree donned a red suit styled by Messiah Stylist, while Erica Mena was dressed in a gorgeous white wedding dressed designed by Ryan and Walter that closely hugged her baby bump. The whirlwind romance was first announced in late 2018 with the couple announcing their engagement by Christmas Eve of the same year. While the two have been very public with their relationship and pregnancy announcement , it seems Erica plans to take a different approach with their child. According to published reports, Mena plans to shelter the bundle of joy from the spotlight, while Safaree’s plans include adding the upcoming addition to payroll. “We’re going to be selective but at the same time, this baby will come out of the womb working,” Safaree said during the announcement. “I was working very early. I’m about to pull a DJ Khaled . As soon as this baby comes out, we are working.” Working is an understatement while celebrating milestones in their lives and relationship, the lovebirds are also cashing after it was announced that their love story will be documented on the upcoming tenth season of Love & Hip-Hop: New York ; showcasing their fast-tracked romance, it’s been reported that VH1 cameras were on-hand to also document the wedding. Although the two may have different opinions on how involved their unborn child will be in Hollywood, one thing the two definitely agree on is their love for one another. “Newly” married man Justin Bieber has been drooling over his gorgeous bride on social media, and you can’t really blame him. But he also purchased two very expensive, somewhat exotic cats — and the ever-controversial PETA absolutely can blame him for that. The Biebs is hitting back with a lengthy message explaining his reasoning. But he’s also telling PETA to “suck it.” Okay, so first up, the cats — the real heroes and possibly the only innocents in this story. Justin has acquired two kittens, whom he has named Sushi and Tuna. (One assumes that he tells them apart because Tuna is the one with more mercury content) The two kittens are Savannahs, which are part domestic cat and part African Serval. These cats are restricted in thirteen out of fifty states because they are considered “living room leopards.” The Biebs purchased the pair from a breeder for a combined $35,000. “Baby, baby, baby, nooooooo.,” PETA’s President said in a truly cringe-worthy statement to People which made us physically recoil. “Justin Bieber could inspire his fans around the world to save a life by adopting a cat from a local animal shelter,” the statement suggested. PETA continued: “rather than fueling the dangerous demand for hybrid cats.” The controversial organization accused the Biebs of “contributing to the animal overpopulation crisis.” “And proving that when it comes to helping animals,” PETA declared. “His stance so far is ‘I don’t care.” “PETA can suck it,” Justin Bieber announced. No, that’s not a literal invitation, so please do not show up at his house in PETA merch ready to take him up on it. He’s married , folks. “PETA go focus on real problems,” the Biebs then demanded in his Instagram Story. “Like poaching, and animal brutality.” “Ur tripping because I want a specific kind of cat?” he wrote in astonishment. “U weren’t tripping when I got my dog Oscar and he wasn’t a rescue,” Justin accuses. “Every pet we get must be a rescue?” he asks. The answer to that is 100% yes, by the way. “I believe in adopting rescues,” Justin expresses. “But also think there are preferences” “And that’s what breeders are for,” he surmises. “PETA go help with all of the plastic in the ocean,” Justin suggests. “And leave my beautiful cats alone.” “Sorry, Justin, but you must think more deeply about this issue,” PETA fired back. The new statement noted: “When millions of animals are losing their lives every year because not enough people adopt — choosing instead to shop.” “The animal overpopulation crisis is a ‘real problem,'” PETA argued. “That’s what ‘sucks.'” “PETA urges you to spend just one hour in a municipal animal shelter with us,” the statement continued. “We think you’ll understand how hard it is to look into the animals’ eyes,” PETA added. “And know that because people pay breeders, many of them will pay with their lives,” PETA pointed out. “You have the power to be a great role model on this issue,” the statement continued. “Your behavior guides that of tons of your fans,” PETA concluded. “So please put that to good use.” PETA is known for off-putting campaigns that are pointlessly controversial and deeply misleading, possibly doing harm to animal rights causes. Look around, look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now. This is a line used often in the Tony Award-winning play Hamilton. But it’s also one that could easily be uttered by nearly every member of the Little People, Big World cast at the moment. Indeed, the Roloffs didn’t just reunite over the weekend for a major personal and professional event… they did so under VERY exciting circumstances. Just consider the following: Jacob Roloff got married a few weeks ago to beloved long-time girlfriend Isabel Rock. Tori Roloff is due to welcome a baby girl right around Thanksgiving. Audrey Roloff is due to welcome a baby boy right after the calendar flips to 2020. And Amy Roloff just got engaged to Chris Marek ! All these developments must have given the family plenty to discuss when they met at their farm in Oregon on Saturday and opened pumpkin season by posing for the photo above. Matt Roloff shared the family picture on his Instagram account, explaining via caption that he has the newest member of the family to thank for it even happening this year. “Leave it to Izzy to remind me that today was the best time to get the annual Roloff family photo of the year.. Izzy said. …Matt. We have to do it today at 4pm!” the patriarch wrote, adding in major detail: “Jacob and I are leaving on an extended road trip later today. Zach and Tori will be at the farm right after Jackson’s nap at3:45 pm. Jer and Auj will bring Ember at 4:15 sharp. Amy and Chris here by 4 pm.
