According to Variety, 20th Century Fox has tapped the “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and “30 Days of Night” director for their next “Daredevil” film. Undisclosed sources close to the project told the industry trade publication that the untitled film will be a continuation of the 2003 version, which starred Ben Affleck, but will not contain any material from that film, which was mostly panned by critics. Much like familiar comic book heroes like Batman, Superman and Spider-Man, Daredevil, a.k.a. Matt Murdoch, is a crime-fighting vigilante. However, unlike his fellow costumed brethren, Daredevil is blind.
