One of those huge names would be Joel Osteen . Who’s Mega church in Houston has really seen no end to growth in the Houston area. Now it seems Joel has caught wind of what Kanye West is doing with his “ Sunday Service ” and as any smart business man he wants parts. Rumors circulated last month he had invited Kanye to his church but it seems both have agreed on scratching each other back to make that happen. TMZ reports , that Osteen and Non-Voting-Trump-Supporter Kanye West have been talking on the regular. “We’re told the plan is for Kanye to show up at Joel’s 11 AM service in Houston this coming Sunday at the Lakewood Church. Kanye will walk up to the pulpit and have a conversation with Joel that will last between 20 and 30 minutes. Our sources say Joel wants his congregation — which stands 45,000 strong — and his TV audience — which stands at 10 million in the U.S. alone — to hear how Kanye has overcome significant adversity in his life.” If you’re unfamiliar with the Lakewood church they have a morning and a night service in Houston, Texas. The morning conversation is sure to dominate headlines into at least December. While the ones who want to experience Kanye’s “Sunday Service” will have to return in the afternoon. The pairing seems odd given Joel Osteen last flare up in headlines were due to him refusing to shelter hurricane victims. Now it seems he’s welcoming (some would say pandering) the same community he refused in his doors. What could go wrong? Circumstances surrounding the passing of the former Michigan State University standout are still yet unknown. TMZ Sports reports : One of the people conforming his death is former Michigan State teammate Chris Baker. “Devastated to learn of the passing of my spartan brother Charles Rodgers,” Baker said. “Spoke with his mom this morning. Please pray for her and his children. Please also be respectful of their privacy at this difficult time. Rip Chuck.” Rogers was selected by the Detroit Lions and flashed huge potential — catching 22 passes for 243 yards and 2 touchdowns during his first 5 games of the ’03 season. But, he suffered a broken clavicle, which ended his rookie campaign. The outlet adds that Rogers reportedly struggled with an addiction to pain medication after he suffered another broken clavicle in the 2004 season and was cut by the Lions for good in 2006. As we previously reported, Kanye West announced his candidacy for President in 2024. It’s the sort of thing that bonkers people blurt out. But he also took the time to rant and rave about not being recognized as an alleged “billionaire.” He has even threatened to legally change hiis name to something deeply ludicrous if his alleged “genius” is not recognized. On Thursday, Kanye West appeared at the Fast Company Innovation Festival in New York, where he spouted some very on-brand nonsense. “When people say it’s crass to call yourself a billionaire,” Kanye begins. He threatens: “I say I might legally change my name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West.” Kanye warns that he might do so “for a year until y’all understand exactly what it is.” As always, it’s difficult to tell exactly when Kanye is joking and when people simple wishfully want to believe that he’s joking. But Kanye sounded intent upon impressing this plan upon his audience, even saying that it would be reflected in official DMV records. “It will be on the license plate,” he told the crowd. Yes, Kanye is still bitter that his net worth is not estimated at a billion dollars by the general public or by standard economic sources. “When I did Forbes , I showed them a $890 million receipt,” Kanye complained. His rant continued, lamenting: “and they still didn’t say ‘billionaire.’” In contrast, of course, they did declare Kylie Jenner as a billionaire, officially, which increased his frustrations. In fact, Kanye — ever the fan of conspiracy theories in which he is the imagined victim — went out of his way to “They don’t want us to know that we can buy land,” Kanye tells his audience. Kanye, who has many millions of dollars, can certainly purchase land. It’s unclear why he might have ever believed otherwise. He then complains “They don’t want us to have the 100 percent ownership [that] I have at Yeezy.” It is unclear if Kanye is referring to systemic white supremacy — a very real problem — or if he believes that more consciously sinister forces are at work. As you may recall, Kanye gave a huge, meandering interview in October about his new music. He mentioned his wealth multiple times during the interview. At the time, he lamented that Kylie had been recognized as a billionaire but he had not. Instead of being happy for her success, he referred to the recognition as a ‘stab.” One of Kanye’s multiple unhinged Twitter rants came in 2016, when he asked Mark Zuckerberg — on Twitter — for one billion dollars. In recent weeks, the man soon to be known as Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West has referred to himself as a billionaire multiple times. However, here on planet Earth, in real life, Forbes estimated Kanye’s net worth to be $240 million in June, most of which comes from his Yeezy brand. That is a massive, considerable fortune. But it’s less than a billion dollars. It is also less than his wife’s fortune. Maybe he will make good on his threat to change his name to Christian Genius Billionaire. And, to be completely fair, he is definitely one of those things. His new album is even called Jesus Is King . While some of what Kanye says may be so foreign from what we know as reality that it seems funny, his claims are worrisome. On November 5th, Meek tweeted: “Since they got like 30 abandoned schools in Philly…. Can we buy one and build a super school in our own neighborhood!” With over 16.1k likes on the single tweet, it seems plenty of people agree with Meeks idea. Senator Vincent Hughes replied to his tweet, stating, “Let’s talk! @SenatorHughes would love to discuss ways to improve the Philadelphia school system.” Chris O’Connell from Fox 29 also retweeted Meek’s tweet, “I’m hoping the stakeholders reach out and have this conversation with @MeekMill. Letterman and Witherspoon have serious history, having both honed their careers at The Comedy Store in Hollywood alongside Richard Pryor, Robin Williams and Jay Leno. Rudy Boesch, one of the best-known contestants in the history of Survivor, has died after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was 91 years old. Boesch, a breakout star during Survivor’s very first season, was a former Navy Seal. He was cast back in 2000 at the age of 72, finishing the season in third place and quickly became a fan favorite due to his lovably cantankerous persona. Tweeted Rudy’s ally from that memorable run on the series, after learning of his death: “Ours was an interesting bond, Dear Rudy! You and I helped open minds and undermine predjudces [sic]. While your time here has passed, you will remain loved and iconic, dear friend!” Rudy served in Vietnam and earned the Bronze Star Medal for heroic action. He retired from the military in 1990, a decade before becoming the oldest player to ever compete on Survivor. That first season, of course, was such a huge hit that CBS has since ordered 37 more. After the debut season of Survivor, Rudy made an encore on Survivor: All-Stars in 2004. Boesch married Marjorie Thomas in 1955, and they had three kids. They remained married for 53 years, until her death in 2008. During season 1, Boesch’s closest friend was Hatch, the openly gay corporate trainer who ultimately won the show. It was an unexpected alliance… to say the least. “Rudy Boesch and I both served our country in the military: he in the Navy, and I in the Army,” Hatch told People Magazine, adding: “But Rudy also served our country as an example of honesty and open-mindedness by respectfully engaging and aligning with me, an openly homosexual man, to play Survivor on the world stage.” Survivor: All Stars contestant Rob Cesternino also recalled his friendship with Boesch to People. This is what he said: Rudy was my roommate for weeks on our trip to Argentina after we both were voted out during Survivor: All-Stars. I would hang on his every word because he was would tell and re-tell all these amazing stories with his unique combination of brutal honesty and a razor-sharp wit. I’ve never met anybody who could ever make me laugh as much as Rudy. Funeral arrangements for Boesch have not yet been announced. He’s the latest ex-Survivor star to pass away, following Jenn Lyon, who placed fourth on Survivor: Palau, who died in 2010 after a six-year battle with breast cancer. Original Survivor contestant BB Andersen passed away of brain cancer in 2013 at age 77. In 2014, 26-year-old Blood vs. Water contestant Caleb Bankston was killed in a railway accident. Things got very ugly on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation last night. And, incredibly, none of the drama centered around Jen Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. Instead, viewers tuned in to see the fallout from last week’s interactions between Zack Clayton Carpinello, Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Angelina Pivarnick. In real time, of course, Farley dumped Carpinello after she watched the previous episode and witnessed how he flirted up a storm with Angelina (while JWoww was passed out at a club). But these installments were filmed months ago — meaning Thursday night gave us a glimpse at at the complete $hitstorm that broke out the day after Zack, Jenni and Angelina got wasted during an evening out… … and Zack totally groped a stunned Angelina on the dance floor. The following morning, Jenni woke up — still in her dress and still drunk. As Zack quietly tried to get her ready for the airport, Vinny talked to Angelina in the living room. “The weirdest thing is I saw you guys dancing at Drai’s, and he grabbed you,” he said, adding that he witnessed Zack “touching your ass.” YES! Thank you! Angelina was ecstatic to hear this. “You saw it! You saw it! I saw your face! Oh, thank God. Thank God! I wasn’t dreaming,” she exclaimed, claiming that Zack told her after the club that he would be calling her to say hi. She thought the entire situation was really odd and felt 24 just got “too comfortable, too quick.” “Even though I don’t like Angelina, I actually agree with her right now, that that was kind of shady situation,” Vin said in a later confessional. “I know that Jenni is looking through Zack-colored lenses right now, but if Jenni finds out about this whole thing, she’s gonna flip out.” Cut to everyone heading home and a text thread getting underway about what the heck happened between Zack and Angelina. “We were in a group chat talking about the night Jenni was drunk in Vegas with 24,” Vinny told the camera. “I made a comment like, ‘Yeah, and how about when Zack was dancing with Angelina?’ Angelina says that Zack was grabbing her, she doesn’t like 24, she’s saying his intentions aren’t good, and that really pissed off Jenni.” From there, the episode delved into a lot of he-said/she-said territory, as a now-sober JWoww tried to piece together what transpired. During a FaceTime call with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi to fill her in, she relayed her boyfriend’s side of the scandalous story. “Angelina’s trying to turn it into something like he grabbed her. She f-cking kissed him!” Jenni shouted into the phone. Elsewhere, Angelina was busy keeping her fiancé, Chris, in the loop. “[Nicole] is texting me saying, ‘What happened in Vegas? Did you make it a big deal that he was dancing with you?'” she read from her phone. “How f-cking dare her?!” Back to Vinny: “Any time you’re on Jenni’s bad side, you’re also on Nicole’s bad side,” he explained. “So Nicole starts to text Angelina like as Jenni’s little attack chihuahua and was like, ‘What are you saying about Zack?’ So now it’s an all-out war. Jenni’s now saying that Angelina tried to kiss Zack, Angelina’s mad that everyone’s teaming up on her, that this is gonna ruin her engagement. “And we’re all about to get together for Deena [Cortese]’s baby’s baptism in just a couple days.” Angelina then cried on Deena’s shoulder at the latter’s house, insisting that she was the one wronged here. “But what did Zack do? He just moved you out of the way?” Deena asked. Angelina said it was an intentional and “inappropriate” grab that was causing major strain on her engagement and life in general. “I’m stressed out. I lost so much weight over all this. This can break up my engagement, you know? Just her saying that? My fiancé thinks that this actually happened, and this is why I’m upset,” she said, wiping away tears. Jenni. for her part, was having trouble of her own… simply because she couldn’t remember anything about the night in question. “I just don’t like being that person that’s like, ‘I don’t remember any of it.’ But I’m glad that I was that level because, if I would’ve saw that, her kissing him, and I was in a state of mind…” she said, imagining laying the smackdown on Angelina. If he kissed her, that would be a huge problem, but he didn’t! Supposedly, she did. “I don’t trust Angelina. I truly believe Zack. He’s just not capable of lying. There’s nothing for him to gain out of that.” When Deena got together with Jenni and Nicole later that night, she explained that Angelina had come over and cried to her about the situation. “‘Cause she’s guilty!” Jenni yelled. “I would cry, too, if I was like, ‘Damn, I got f-cked up and I kissed someone.’ Zack was like, ‘I have nothing to hide. Raiven Adams is pregnant with Bear Brown’s baby and has been flaunting her baby bump for fans to admire. Not everything has been easy. Being pregnant and being famous are hard enough without suddenly doing both at once. Before leaving Instagram for a while to avoid hateful trolls, Raiven opened up about the hardest part of her pregnancy. Raiven Adams is about 12 weeks pregnant with Bear Brown’s child. On social media, she opened up about the most difficult thing about her pregnancy. “I’m probably very extra about it,” she admitted. Raiven continued: “But I research everything I eat to make sure it’s safe.” “It’s overwhelming sometimes,” she acknowledged. That’s very smart. Some foods that seem harmless or even healthy can be hamrful while pregnant (or breastfeeding). Raiven also spoke about the difficulties in general of her pregnancy so far. “Right now it’s hard because I’m always sick,” she revealed. “But,” she was sure to emphasize. “I am blessed to have a baby on the way.” That’s great! Unfortunately, her pregnancy is not the only source of trouble in her life. As we mentioned, some “fans” of Alaskan Bush People and of Bear Brown in particular have been dogpiling on Raiven. They didn’t like that she an Bear were quietly dating for six months before going public. It looks like some envied her. They didn’t like that she was pansexual — which is straight-up bigotry. They didn’t like when they got engaged, when they broke up, when they found out that they were expecting, or when they got back together. And they certainly didn’t like that those things happened in that order. Last time, when the barrage of hate and trolls became too much, Raiven ended things with Bear, resolving to remain friends. This time, she knew that she didn’t want to let these same monsters get to her again. Instead, she made the wise choice of simply stepping back from social media — from Instagram, specifically. It’s a shame, but it’s the right move. Trolls have no power to upset her in her condition if she doesn’t see the vitriol tha they hurl in her direction. Raiven is not the only one to take a huge step back from Instagram. This week, Bear Brown took to the same social media site to share an announcement of his own. “Gonna be off Instagram for a little while!” he revealed. Thank you everybody!” Bear expressed. “God bless!” Even when haters are nipping at his heels, the self-described King of Extreme remains so friendly, open, and chill. Contrary to what weird conspiracy theorists masquerading as fans might say, Raiven was not interested in fame. She’s made that clear. She and Bear were friends first, only later becoming a couple. And no, she did not become pregnant in order to “trap” him. She only discovered that she was pregnant after they had broken up. Alaskan Bush People fans should be overjoyed that the Brown family is getting yet another grandchild. Most fans are happy about it, of course.
