As previously reported in an episode of ” Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s”, Kim and Kanye had a disagreement about Kim’s Met Gala outfit that Kanye disapproved of. According to Kim, she’s compromised for Kanye because of his spiritual journey. She’s not only compromised in her own ways, but she’s also compromised with their children—North is longer allowed to wear makeup, and the kids were removed their kids’ rooms. “I obviously want to honor him and what he’s feeling,” she said. “And he’s been going through this life change.” “The kids are getting older,” she explained. “He’s more cautious about what we have in the house. And we got rid of TVs in the kids’ rooms and removed makeup from North’s room. And he’s had this epiphany of being…a little bit more strict as a dad and being very forceful on the imagery that’s in the household and what they see.” She also added that she’s still staying true to herself but is keeping in mind that she’s a mom of four who’s turning 40 next year. “I’m always going to be me,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said. “So, we had that discussion and that fight. I think, at the end of the day, that’s what marriage is. He’s going to do things that I don’t agree with and I support him and vice versa. So, with this, we were having this conversation of just what is too much? And, I am a mother of four, like, I am going to be 40 next year.” “Just where he has gone in his life and maybe things that he did a year ago, he probably wouldn’t be doing today,” she shared. “And I love that beautiful journey as well and I think that’s a great example for our kids. But, you know, there’s also that fine line of staying firm and doing what you feel comfortable with. And I take a little bit of him and I hear what he’s saying and I totally compromise. Things got very ugly on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation last night. And, incredibly, none of the drama centered around Jen Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. Instead, viewers tuned in to see the fallout from last week’s interactions between Zack Clayton Carpinello, Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Angelina Pivarnick. In real time, of course, Farley dumped Carpinello after she watched the previous episode and witnessed how he flirted up a storm with Angelina (while JWoww was passed out at a club). But these installments were filmed months ago — meaning Thursday night gave us a glimpse at at the complete $hitstorm that broke out the day after Zack, Jenni and Angelina got wasted during an evening out… … and Zack totally groped a stunned Angelina on the dance floor. The following morning, Jenni woke up — still in her dress and still drunk. As Zack quietly tried to get her ready for the airport, Vinny talked to Angelina in the living room. “The weirdest thing is I saw you guys dancing at Drai’s, and he grabbed you,” he said, adding that he witnessed Zack “touching your ass.” YES! Thank you! Angelina was ecstatic to hear this. “You saw it! You saw it! I saw your face! Oh, thank God. Thank God! I wasn’t dreaming,” she exclaimed, claiming that Zack told her after the club that he would be calling her to say hi. She thought the entire situation was really odd and felt 24 just got “too comfortable, too quick.” “Even though I don’t like Angelina, I actually agree with her right now, that that was kind of shady situation,” Vin said in a later confessional. “I know that Jenni is looking through Zack-colored lenses right now, but if Jenni finds out about this whole thing, she’s gonna flip out.” Cut to everyone heading home and a text thread getting underway about what the heck happened between Zack and Angelina. “We were in a group chat talking about the night Jenni was drunk in Vegas with 24,” Vinny told the camera. “I made a comment like, ‘Yeah, and how about when Zack was dancing with Angelina?’ Angelina says that Zack was grabbing her, she doesn’t like 24, she’s saying his intentions aren’t good, and that really pissed off Jenni.” From there, the episode delved into a lot of he-said/she-said territory, as a now-sober JWoww tried to piece together what transpired. During a FaceTime call with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi to fill her in, she relayed her boyfriend’s side of the scandalous story. “Angelina’s trying to turn it into something like he grabbed her. She f-cking kissed him!” Jenni shouted into the phone. Elsewhere, Angelina was busy keeping her fiancé, Chris, in the loop. “[Nicole] is texting me saying, ‘What happened in Vegas? Did you make it a big deal that he was dancing with you?'” she read from her phone. “How f-cking dare her?!” Back to Vinny: “Any time you’re on Jenni’s bad side, you’re also on Nicole’s bad side,” he explained. “So Nicole starts to text Angelina like as Jenni’s little attack chihuahua and was like, ‘What are you saying about Zack?’ So now it’s an all-out war. Jenni’s now saying that Angelina tried to kiss Zack, Angelina’s mad that everyone’s teaming up on her, that this is gonna ruin her engagement. “And we’re all about to get together for Deena [Cortese]’s baby’s baptism in just a couple days.” Angelina then cried on Deena’s shoulder at the latter’s house, insisting that she was the one wronged here. “But what did Zack do? He just moved you out of the way?” Deena asked. Angelina said it was an intentional and “inappropriate” grab that was causing major strain on her engagement and life in general. “I’m stressed out. I lost so much weight over all this. This can break up my engagement, you know? Just her saying that? My fiancé thinks that this actually happened, and this is why I’m upset,” she said, wiping away tears. Jenni. for her part, was having trouble of her own… simply because she couldn’t remember anything about the night in question. “I just don’t like being that person that’s like, ‘I don’t remember any of it.’ But I’m glad that I was that level because, if I would’ve saw that, her kissing him, and I was in a state of mind…” she said, imagining laying the smackdown on Angelina. After Vinny tried to explain that Zack had acted inappropriate, Jenni blew him off and said that Carpinello claimed that Angelina kissed him . “I’m sorry, but like, there’s nothing for me to be mad at,” she later told the camera, adding: “Unless Zack like physically cheated on me, not my problem! If he kissed her, that would be a huge problem, but he didn’t! Supposedly, she did. “I don’t trust Angelina. I truly believe Zack. He’s just not capable of lying. There’s nothing for him to gain out of that.” When Deena got together with Jenni and Nicole later that night, she explained that Angelina had come over and cried to her about the situation. “‘Cause she’s guilty!” Jenni yelled. “I would cry, too, if I was like, ‘Damn, I got f-cked up and I kissed someone.’ Zack was like, ‘I have nothing to hide. There’s a baby boom going on right about now at Grey Sloan Memorial. Thursday’s episode of this long in the tooth ABC introduced another pregnancy into the mix. Bailey is the second series regular character to be revealed as pregnant, mere weeks after we learned that Amelia was with child. Given that this series loves to give fans all the feels, it’s difficult to imagine both of these pregnancies being smooth sailing. But how did Bailey learn about her own pregnancy? Well, she had the day from hell. Meredith got interviewed by a publication, and her words were twisted. It sounded like a smear campaign against Grey Sloan Memorial, and all of Grey’s former colleagues were up in arms about it. For her part, Mer felt terrible and decided to put her freedom at risk to get her point across. Instead of completing community service, she returned to the hospital to let Bailey know everything was taken out of context. But Bailey was done with her and their friendship. “I made you study. I made you practice. I was your friend, your mentor and overtime. You needed me, I was there. You can sit there and apologize to me and say all the moving words but the damage has been done,” Bailey said. That was enough for Grey to leave the hospital, but not before she ran into her boyfriend Deluca. They got into it over Mer ditching community service because she could be sent to jail, but the former surgeon wasn’t in the mood to be talked down to. “I don’t need this,” she said to him. “If you think there’s a world where I just sit back when everything’s broken and hurting people and killing people, you don’t really know me at all.” The fate of their relationship was left very much up in the air. As for Bailey, she gave Deluca the Chief Residents’ job, saying that he can fix his girlfriend’s mess, but nobody was happy to have him there. Bailey ultimately worried that she was having a heart attack, just years after the big scare that almost ended her life. She turned to Maggie, who ran some tests and revealed that Bailey was perimenopausal and pregnant. “I heard you, I just don’t understand,” Bailey said. Elsewhere, Koracick wanted to fix the image of the hospital, and he tried to do so by recording a surgery on a child pro bono. Jackson did not want cameras in the operating rooms, so he shut it down. He bickered with Tom about it and ultimately told Tom that he was his boss as he owned part of the hospital. The camera was shut down, and Jackson took on the surgery. F ormer NFL player DeAngelo Williams has turned the pain of losing his mother to breast cancer into something positive. According to Today , the former Pittsburgh Steelers running back has funded mammograms for 500 women over the past five years. The disease is something that has devastatingly impacted his family. His mother Sandra Hill succumbed to her battle with breast cancer 13 years ago and four of his aunts passed away from the disease as well. In honor of his mother—who died when she was 53—he decided to launch a campaign dubbed “53 Strong for Sandra” where he hosted mammogram screening events for 53 women in North Carolina who didn’t have adequate insurance coverage. Since launching the project, his foundation has expanded its reach far beyond North Carolina and has held screening events throughout the country in states including Arkansas, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania. The organization also provides funding for treatment for women in need. “This can be life-changing for these women,” Williams told the news outlet. “We are enabling them to get this care that no one should ever be denied or not have access to.” Initiatives like the one created by his foundation are needed. According to research conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention , Black women die from breast cancer at a higher rate than white women. Medical professionals say that the underrepresentation of Black women in breast cancer research leads to the lack of effective treatment options and socioeconomic factors are tied to the alarming trend. “About 40% of health is driven by social and economic factors,” Dr. Timiya Nolan told Forbes . “We also know that these women face more stress-inducing environments with the experience of racism and discrimination, low healthcare access and/or knowledge of resources, and even challenging encounters with healthcare providers.” October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month; an annual observance created to celebrate individuals who have battled the disease and support education and research initiatives. Kim Kardashian is feeling very “blessed” after a rather spiritual family trip to their ancestral homeland, Armenia. On Thursday, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shared photos to Instagram of her with daughter North West following a family baptism at the Etchmiadzin Cathedral in Vagharshapat, Armenia. “Thank you Armenia for such a memorable trip,” she wrote to Instagram. “So blessed to have been baptized along with my babies at Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Armenia’s main cathedral which is sometimes referred to as the Vatican of the Armenian Apostolic Church.” The family enjoyed the moment in style of course, as the mom and daughter duo donned gorgeous white veils, and North rocked a beautiful statement necklace over her shirt. While it’s unclear if North was involved in the religious ceremony, as she was previously baptized in Jerusalem when she was 22-months-old , a source did confirm that Kanye and Kim’s three youngest were baptized. According to People , Psalm, Chicago, and Saint were baptized at the cathedral that morning, while aunt Kourtney Kardashian and her kiddos, Mason, Reign, and Penelope joined them for the ceremony. The insider also shared to People that the sisters were staying in the nearby capital city of Yerevan; Kanye did not come along for the trip — but we’re sure he had all the FOMO. During their visit, the sisters also visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex to pay their respects to the catastrophic event in which the Ottoman state murdered 1.5 million Ottoman Armenians in 1915. The genocide is a tragedy many are still unaware of and that some even deny happened, which is beyond concerning. Luckily, Kim and Kourtney wrote an essay for Time and took out an ad in the New York Times to address the American Genocide deniers. Overall, it sounds like this trip was very powerful for Kourtney, Kim, and their children — we’re sure their father, the late Robert Kardashian, was looking down on them smiling. As of September 2019, Uncle Sam remains the undisputed champ of those who think it’s a game in these streets. The latest victim to the tax lien haymaker is none other than former Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Peter Thomas . After being arrested earlier this year in Miami for a bounced check, the bad luck keeps on rolling in for Peter. His establishment, Sports One Bar & Lounge in Charlotte, North Carolina closed recently due to some serious financial troubles. According to reports from TMZ, the bar is more than $237,000 in debt, which ended up causing a federal tax lien. Thomas’ plan, you ask? To close the doors, pay the bill down, and then open his business right back up. This seems to show a pattern of bad money habits and the only person who’s gonna lose in this scenario will be Peter Thomas. The reason for all of this debt racking up was cited as certain investments in other projects–but you should probably pay the bills at the place generating your revenue before you invest elsewhere. As for his Miami arrest, his first his explanation was that his account was compromised and he didn’t know. Then, it was a thirsty booking agent who allegedly filed charges for no reason . It’s a simple saying that could seriously save your life, but maybe even more importantly, it can save someone else. Four Atlanta area hotels ended up ignoring this age-old advice and now, they’re facing federal charges for it. According to the AJC.com, these aforementioned hotels include a Red Roof Inn near SunTrust Park, a La Quinta Inn near North Point Mall, Hometown Studios–previously operating as a Suburban Extended Stay–on Peachtree Industrial Court in Chamblee, and Extended Stay America on Hammond Drive near Sandy Springs. Up to 20 men a day visited hotel rooms for short periods of time (which is a pretty obvious indicator of sex trafficking) and some women were forced to stay at the hotels for weeks at a time, according to four trafficking survivors. The federal investigation revealed these hotels knew about the sex trafficking going on in their facilities and not only turned the other cheek, but profited heavily from the illegal activity. Employees were paid to keep quiet and act as lookouts in case police arrived or other hotel guests were suspicious, the lawsuits state. The Red Roof Inn even had a sign that reportedly reads “No Refund After 15 mins”. “There is no legitimate reason for the Smyrna Red Roof Inn to have such a policy,” the four lawsuits state. “The policy exists so that commercial sex acts cannot be accomplished quickly at the Smyrna Red Roof Inn without also paying for a room…” Hopefully, these businesses are held accountable for their role in sex trafficking and no one else has to experience such trauma just because a hotel wants to make a quick $40. The plaintiffs are seeking trials by jury and unspecified punitive damages.
P hiladelphia-bred rapper Meek Mill is no stranger to philanthropy. In the past, the hip-hop star—whose real name is Robert Rihmeek Williams —has hosted toy giveaways and school drives benefiting children in his hometown. Williams is continuing his mission to inspire and empower the youth in Philly. According to CBS News , he recently unveiled renovated basketball courts in North Philadelphia. The new courts—which are located at 33rd and Oxford—feature motivational quotes along the sidelines as well as Williams’ “Dreamchasers” logo. During the unveiling ceremony, the “Dreams and Nightmares” rapper thanked those who helped bring the project to fruition and played basketball with the children who were in attendance. Williams says he’s happy to have the platform and resources to give back to his community. “North Philly will always be home. When kids go to East Fairmount Park, they deserve to ball in the best conditions possible, so I’m glad they’ll have that opportunity now,” he said when announcing the project last year. Leaders of the initiative are beyond thankful for his continued commitment to uplift the youth in Philadelphia. “A lot of people make it, come back for a minute, get a little cameras and then they’re gone,” said Philadelphia City Council President Darrell Clarke in a statement. “My man, he keeps coming back and I’m loving it.” Williams has been making power moves beyond music this year. He was named co-owner of the sports apparel brand Lids and he has continued to fight for criminal justice reform by joining forces with lawmakers to propose a probation and parole reform bill .
