As you may have heard, Amanda Bynes went through a bit of a rough patch last year. And by “rough patch,” we mean she falsely accused her father of sexually molesting her and was eventually placed on 5150 psychiatric hold after one of the scariest celeb meltdowns in recent memory. Fortunately, Amanda has managed to turn things around and these days she’s in the midst of a transformation that’s downright inspirational. Amanda posted the above photo to her Twitter account last night, and its not the first time she’s stepped out looking fantastic in the past few months. Of course, it’s not just Amanda’s appearance that has us feeling optimistic about her future. The 29-year-old former child star is currently living on her own in West Hollywood (an idea her parents initially opposed) and she’s reportedly planning to attend USC in the fall. “Amanda is doing great,” her attorney said in a recent statement. “She appreciates all of the love and support she receives from family, friends and fans.” Amanda has reportedly told friends that she’s doing her best to avoid areas of LA with heavy paparazzi traffic and has mostly just been hanging out at home. Sounds like she’s pulled off quite the turnaround. Take notes, Lindsay Lohan!
