Did American Idol just take a jab at The Voice ? In an ad that aired last night, the Fox series hypes this evening’s two-hour episode by recounting its past success stories, which includes nine Grammy Awards, one Oscar and artists such as Carrie Underwood, Adam Lambert , Kelly Clarkson, Chris Daughtry, Scotty McCreery and Jennifer Hudson. The Voice , of course, has only been on for one season, but finalists Javier Colon and Dia Frampton haven’t left much of an impression on the music world. Watch the promo now and decide: Cheap shot?
