Blondie Bennett: Real-Life Barbie! Blondie Bennett, 38, lives in California and has been obsessed with Barbie dolls since she was young. For her, the reason for her fixation is obvious. “She has the best life. All she does is shop and make herself look pretty – she doesn’t worry about anything,” Blondie tells the Daily Mail . Apparently just looking like the famous toy isn’t enough for Blondie anymore. She reports she’s undergoing hypnotherapy sessions weekly to make herself feel vacant and stupid. “I’m already starting to feel ditzy and confused all the time,” she proudly reports. “Recently I went to pick a friend up at the airport and couldn’t remember if I needed to go to departures or arrivals. I also got lost for three hours driving to my mum’s house – the house where I grew up.” Ummm…congratulations? I have my doubts that this is a) possible and b) true. Would any sort of licensed medical professional agree to this kind of treatment? What’s the next step, a lobotomy?
