Jamie Lynn Spears got engaged over the weekend. Sister Britney is, as you’d probably expect, so pumped for her. A lot more excited than when Jamie Lynn and Casey Aldridge were engaged, most likely. We didn’t think we’d see Jamie Lynn Spears engaged again by age 21, but she and Jamie Watson, 30, have been together for three years already. They seem very content, grounded and happy. Britney Spears certainly thinks so, gushing on Twitter: “So excited and happy for my sister. Congrats @jamielynnspears – love you so much.” Jamie Lynn shared her news – and dazzling engagement ring – with her Instagram followers, praising her hubby-to-be’s selection: “He did good.” The wedding news may be somewhat bittersweet for Britney, who split with her longtime love Jason Trawick in January after a year-long engagement. Brit was previously married to Jason Alexander (briefly) and to Kevin Federline, with whom she has two kids. Jamie Lynn has a daughter, Maddie. Can’t wait to see Britney walk down the aisle again – even if it’s as a bridesmaid! Congratulations to Jamie Lynn, Jamie, Jamie and Lynn (her parents)! Seriously. Hope they have some nicknames.
