Will Britney Spears walk down the aisle again? The pop princess was seen sporting a new band on THAT finger at her son’s soccer game on Saturday, sparking rumors that she might be engaged to beau David Lucado . Brit Brit and David met nine months ago and the pair have been looking loved up ever since they went public as an item, so it wouldn’t be a total shock. There’s no official word yet on whether the couple are engaged (or married), but we wouldn’t be shocked if they went ahead and made it official. Spears has said “I do” twice before. She wed Kevin Federline, the father of her two sons, back in 2004 and famously married childhood pal Jason Alexander for a few hours earlier that year. Britney was engaged to now-ex Jason Trawick for about a year until the couple called it off. Spears is currently in the midst of her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood. Could a visit to one of Sin City’s nearby chapels be far off? Third time’s a charm, eh?
Jamie Lynn Spears got engaged over the weekend. Sister Britney is, as you’d probably expect, so pumped for her. A lot more excited than when Jamie Lynn and Casey Aldridge were engaged, most likely. We didn’t think we’d see Jamie Lynn Spears engaged again by age 21, but she and Jamie Watson, 30, have been together for three years already. They seem very content, grounded and happy. Britney Spears certainly thinks so, gushing on Twitter: “So excited and happy for my sister. Congrats @jamielynnspears – love you so much.” Jamie Lynn shared her news – and dazzling engagement ring – with her Instagram followers, praising her hubby-to-be’s selection: “He did good.” The wedding news may be somewhat bittersweet for Britney, who split with her longtime love Jason Trawick in January after a year-long engagement. Brit was previously married to Jason Alexander (briefly) and to Kevin Federline, with whom she has two kids. Jamie Lynn has a daughter, Maddie. Jamie Lynn Spears is engaged! To Jamie Watson, her boyfriend of about three years now! Get ready for another Spears weddin’ y’all! Ding dang! The 21-year-old confirmed the surprising news yesterday with an Instagram picture of her and Watson hugging while flashing her ring finger. The caption: “Guesssss what??????” This will be the first marriage for Jamie Lynn Spears , who was previously engaged to Casey Aldridge, the father of her four-year-old daughter Maddie. Jamie Lynn split with Aldridge in 2010. Britney Spears, meanwhile, recently parted with fiance Jason Trawick and is now dating David Lucado , a totally random but very nice-seeming fella. Britney Spears has looked better. On Sunday, the pop star, appearing a little worse for the wear, was spotted outside the Barkley Pet Hotel with her two sons – and an adorable new dog! Brit’s pups and kids are cute, but her outfit? Not so much. The singer, who recently split with fiance Jason Trawick, looks to have just emerged from bed. This after Justin Timberlake’s Spears insult (which he denies), too. Rough. In happier news, reports have surfaced that the singer is talks to sign a deal with Ceasar’s Palace in Las Vegas as a regular performer for HUGE money. Her dog Hannah’s Twitter (seriously) fueled that rumor yesterday. Spears re-tweeted a post from her pup’s feed (seriously) that said “Mommy, are dogs allowed to gamble in vegas? Gonna cash in all my bones for chips.” Britney’s response: “I don’t think so honey #VivaLasVegas : )” You can’t make this stuff up .
Rumors of a Britney Spears and Jason Trawick split have been lingering for months, and now it looks like it’s actually a possibility … at least according to Hollyscoop. The celebrity gossip claims that Britney and Jason are about to split … because Jason’s had enough of their relationship … and Spears doesn’t know it yet. A source close to the couple says Jason wants out – and she’s the last to know. “Jason has told Britney’s entire family that he’s planning to leave her, so that Britney will have a support system when he breaks the bad news,” the source claims. Jason is reportedly waiting for The X Factor to end, because he and her family feel she’ll take the news hard, and would rather not have her deal with it while filming. Oddly, he apparently wants to remain her manager after they split. Not sure how Brit would like Jason being on the payroll after he dumps her, but he has been great for her career, and she can’t make these calls anyway, so who knows. Jason Trawick used to be Britney’s agent as well, but when they became a couple, he left his agency in 2011, dropped her as a client, and solely became her manager. A second Britney Spears source denies this, claiming, “I haven’t heard anything about [the split], but I do know they are going on vacation together for the holidays.” So, that brings you up to date. Britney Spears’ former “manager” Sam Lutfi is finally getting his day in court. In suing for defamation and money he feels he earned during their partnership – her dark period of 2007-08, not coincidentally, Lutfi is making some shocking allegations: Britney Spears: MTV VMAs 2007 Spears took a massive amount of amphetamines the night she was strapped to a gurney and placed on a 5150 hold, according to Sam Lutfi . On January 28, 2008, Britney had an amphetamine prescription filled; she took 6-8 pills early in the day, and several more later and went off the rails. Lutfi’s lawyer said he tried to get Britney to meet with a psychiatrist days before she was 5150’d, but she refused, despite having been a mess for months prior to that. She certainly was in the throes of a downward spiral throughout 2007. Speaking of … Sam claims he tried to talk Britney out of her disastrous performance at the MTV Awards in 2007 (above), because she was overweight and didn’t rehearse. Spears was so paranoid that her hair contained traces of the hardcore drugs she was using that Britney shaved her head to hide possible “evidence.” Britney was a serious crystal meth addict. Sam’s lawyer, Joseph Schleimer, had a field day yesterday, somehow claiming that his client repeatedly told Britney she needed to get off drugs, to no avail. Schleimer says Sam: Tried to enlist a whole team of people to help her. Brought in a drug-sniffing dog and found meth. Was attacked by Britney’s dad Jamie Spears. Introduced Britney to fiance Jason Trawick . As for Sam’s managerial role, Schleimer says Britney approached HIM and offered 15 percent of her earnings – $800,000 a month when she wasn’t on tour, way more when she was. Britney’s side has yet to respond to these allegations, most of which are patently false and the rest are legally flimsy at best. Good luck proving any of that. How can a hard ass drug addict be competent enough to sign or agree to any financial deal? Isn’t that just undermining your own case there Sam?
