Dancing with the Stars Recap: Who Survived Double Elimination Night?

Dancing with the Stars is gearing up for its big finish in the coming weeks.  As such, Monday’s episode sent not one, but two couples home. Surely that whad to spell the end of the line for Grocery Store Joe and Bobby Bones, right?  Well, this is Dancing with the Stars, and the voting has never made that much sense, so let’s run down the performances from the episode.  John Schneider and Emma Slater – Jazz – “Thank God I’m a Country Boy” by John Denver John started the season off in a rough spot, but he’s really picked up the pace over the last several weeks and has narrowed the gap in scoring department with some of the others.  John admitted that he was still cut up about his divorce and that it would be great to see his kids, but it seems there’s a divide in his family right about now.  The performance was fun, and energetic, further confirming that he’s improving. The judges noted that there was an improvement and voted accordingly.  Judges’ Score: 25/30 Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe – Rumba – “Every Little Thing” with a live performance by Carly Pearce Despite being middle of the pack when the season got underway, Evanna snagged a perfect score Monday night, and it meant she was officially in the big leagues.  Evanna was open about this track being personal for her, so it made sense that she channeled all of her energy into it.  Judges’ Score: 30/30 Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke – Charleston – “One Shot” by Hunter Hayes Juan Pablo and Cheryl were ecstatic that they secured a perfect score last week, and aimed to keep up the pace in this crucial week.  We didn’t expect any lees for them, and their Charleston oozed elegance and creativity.  Judges Score: 30/30 Joe Amabile and Jenna Johnson – Tango – “Burning Man” by Dierks Bentley ft. brothers Osbourne Joe may be showing signs of life in the ballroom, but he’s still way below where he should be at this stage of the competition.  From missed steps to a lack of dancing ability, he should have really been sent home weeks ago.  Judges’ Score: 21/30 Milo Manheim and Witney Carson – Foxtrot – “Born to Love You” with a live performance by LANCO Milo and Witney have dominated the competition from the get-go, and that’s in large part down to their chemistry.  The Foxtrot was fast-paced and only showed that these two are the ones to beat at the end of the line.  Judges’ Score: 29/30 DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold – Viennese Waltz, “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton Is there a cuter pairing than DeMarcus and Lindsay? They bring their A-game every single week on the ballroom floor, and this Viennese Waltz was no different.  Len noted, however, that there was an issue with the footwork from DeMarcus, and he made a great point.  They could get a perfect score if DeMarcus went all the way with his footwork.  Judges’ Score: 27/30 Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten – Samba – “Ladies in the ’90s” with a live performance by Lauren Alaina Consistency is key, especially if you’re at the top of your game, and this duo turned up the heat with another sizzling performance.  There was not one thing to hate about the performance, and it’s becoming increasingly clear that it’s going to be a tough battle to the finish line.  The couple also confirmed they shared their first kiss, so the showmance was well and truly a thing! Judges’ Score: 29/30 Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess – Viennese Waltz – “Can’t Help Falling in Love” with a live performance by Chris Janson Bobby and Sharna were less than impressed with their middle of the road scores last week, so they opted to switch things up in a big way.  Thankfully, the country theme helped them turn in their best performance in weeks.  Judges’ Score: 24/30 John and Emma, DeMarcus and Lindsay, and Evanna and Keo were the only couples in jeopardy.  But we had to say goodbye to John and Emma and DeMarcus and Lindsay.  Yikes.  What are your thoughts on the latest elimination? Bachelor in Paradise Recap: Becca is Back!!!

The Colton and Tia Show continued on ABC on Monday night. By which we mean Bachelor in Paradise, of course, but early installments of Season 5 have focused heavily on television’s most famous virgin and the woman he briefly dated a long time ago. Early on this week, Chris, Nick and Jordan confronted Colton Underwood after he came back from his date with Tia. Was he really open to a renewed romance with his quasi ex? Yes, Colton told the fellas, but he was also still exploring other bikini-clad options while he pondered this possibility. Underwood just wanted to “figure things out,” he said for the 972nd time. Colton also noted that he couldn’t simply turn his feelings for Tia back on after being in love with Becca Kufrin and pursuing her for two months. See, these are the challenges that face the men who go straight from The Bachelorette to Bachelor in Paradise. It isn’t easy, folks. Fast forward a short bit and Tia got irritated with Colton when she realized he was flirting with Angela, concerned he was just keeping her on the side for whenever he felt giving her attention. Afraid she’d end up like Dean and Kristina, Tia stood up for herself to Underwood. Playing all innocent and trying to be honest, Colton told Tia he intended to talk to other women…  but he didn’t know what he wanted. (This is sort of the entire point of the series, right?) However, Tia wanted for Colton to be jealous of her smooch with Chris — and when he didn’t really seem to care, she said she had enough. She refused to stay in the situation because she knew she deserved something wonderful, something Colton was not providing. So… did Colton survive the night? He didn’t get Tia’s rose and he struggled with Angela, but then Bibiana swooped in and saved the hunky football player. The next day, Becca paid the women a visit. She was on hand to offer them advice, but her presence caused Colton to break down in tears, forced to relive the heartbreak that resulted from her elimination of him a few months prior. Seeing Becca brought back all these difficult memories, as the episode concluded with Kufrin making her way over to the man she sent packing on The Bachelorette. Elsewhere this week… – Kenny took Krystal on a wrestling date, despite the fact that she’d swapped spin with Kevin the evening before. – Kenny then got in the ring and showed off some impressive moves, and the two later connected over their experiences on two-on-one dates. – Back at the beach, Kevin grew tired of having concerns over his relationship with Krystal. He therefore decided to pursue other women. – He and Astrid hit it off in an unexpected matter and before we knew it… they were kissing and holding hands! – David warned Annaliese about Jordan, which made her anxious, yet her nerves were calmed a bit when Jordan arranged a romantic dinner on the beach for the two of them. – They made out and she gave him her rose later in response. – John and Kendall also kissed this week, but the latter actually gave Joe her rose, while Angela handed hers to John. – Finally, Nick failed to win Chelsea over and our beloved Wills went home roseless. Can ABC just go ahead and make him The Bachelor already ?!? View Slideshow: The Bachelor 2019: Who Will It Be?!?

Justin Bieber to Attend Anger Management Classes, Pay Neighbor for Damages

Justin Bieber is a free man. But he isn’t a totally free man. The singer was charged with misdemeanor vandalism today in relation to his egging of his neighbor’s home back in January. Bieber’s attorney then pleaded no contest in court on behalf of his famous client, agreeing to a plea bargain in the process. The terms of this deal are as follows: He is on probation for two years. Bieber must complete five days of community service. He must attend anger management classes. He must pay the neighbor, Shawn Holley, $80,900 in damages. After all was agreed upon, Justin’s team released the following statement: Justin is glad to get this matter resolved and behind him. He will continue to move forward focusing on his career and his music. 23 Reasons Justin Bieber Needs to Get Punched 1. He Can’t Keep His Shirt On Yeah. Selfies like this work if you’re Matthew McConaughey. Not Justin Bieber. Also, Matthew McConaughey would never post selfies like this because he doesn’t need to constantly beg for attention or prove to himself that he’s cool.

The Bachelorette Final Three: Who Should Andi Choose?

After Monday’s emotional hometown dates and the elimination of Marcus Grodd, The Bachelorette final three are set and off to the overnight dates. So who will emerge from the Fantasy Suite (and meeting her folks) with the final rose from Andi Dorfman? All three fellas have forged quite a connection. If you’ve read The Bachelorette spoilers , well, you know how it supposedly ends. Then again, those have been very, very wrong in the past, so who knows. If you haven’t read them, then all bets are off based on what we’ve seen on screen. Josh Murray is the man Andi seems most inclined to date … yet deviating from her past experiences is part of her stated goal in coming on the ABC show. Nick Viall, the winner of the first impression rose on the season premiere, has caught flak for dubbing himself the front-runner this season, but he’s not wrong. He’s made it this far because Andi clearly likes him a lot, and did from the onset. Meanwhile, the dark horse, Chris Soules , keeps coming on stronger. Who do you envision at the end of her journey (take a shot, Bachelorette drinking game players) and who will be sent home next week and the week after? Despite Nick rubbing people the wrong way, all three seem serious, committed and there for the right reasons (drink again!!), so there will be joy, and tears. Check the spoilers link above if you want to know how it plays out (we think), but either way, tell us in the comments and poll below how you want it to. Who should Andi pick of her top three on The Bachelorette? And the Winner is?
