Just because you go on a reality TV show to find love, it doesn't mean you will. The Bachelor and its many spinoffs have been on the air for over seventeen years. It may have seemed like these Bachelor Nation stars found love on one of the ABC shows, but they're with someone different today. Have a look below. 1. DeAnna Pappas DeAnna got engaged to Jesse Csincsak on The Bachelorette Season 4, but their relationship did not stand the test of time. Pappas went on to marry Stephen Stagliano in 2012. They welcomed a daughter Addison in 2014 and a son Austin in 2016. 2. Ali Fedotowsky When The Bachelorette Season 6 wrapped, Ali seemed loved up with Roberto Martinez, but the engagement came to a halt in 2011. She subsequently got close to Kevin Manno, the same man she married in 2017. They have two children together! 3. Bob Guiney We forgot all about this dude, but here we go: He and Estella Gardinier, Bob’s final pick from The Bachelor Season 4 split up. He got married to Rebecca Budig in the aftermath, but they split up after six years of marriage. But he followed that one up with Jessica Canyon. They’re married and have a son! 4. Byron Velvick Byron called off his engagement to Mary Delgado in 2009 but got married to Belinda Velvick in 2015. They have one daughter. 5. Jillian Harris Harris was got engaged to Ed Swiderski on Season 5 of The Bachelorette. It didn’t work out. Years later, Harris announced her engagement to Justin Pasutto in 2016. They’re now married and have two kids. 6. Juan Pablo Galavis Things quickly went south between Galavis and Nikki Ferrell — the final rose recipient of The Bachelor Season 18. But Galavis moved on to Osmariel Villalobos and the pair got married in August 2017. View Slideshow
Jed Wyatt made a very small mistake during his time on The Bachelorette. He slept with a woman prior to leaving for the show … told this woman that he loved her… never broke up with her… and then never told Hannah Brown that this woman existed. When Brown learned the truth, two days after she accepted an engagement ring from Wyatt, she pulled the plug on this romance. Now, a few weeks after the dramatic Bachelorette finale aired and Wyatt was exposed as total liar and douche canoe, Jed says he just wants to be viewed as a role model. He says he hopes young men out there can learn from all the ways he went wrong. Talking late last week to friend Haley Ringo on the talk show LAnded Late Night, Wyatt was asked where he hopes to be in five months. Once all this controversial dust settles, does Wyatt have any hopes for where he’ll be? Mentally? Physically? Spiritually? “I want to be just an all-around better person,” he said in response, adding in greater detail: “I mean, leading into the show, I just really felt like I did know who I was, you know, but I learned so much from this. From the mistake, from the journey, the whole — I learned so much. “I want to apply it to my life. “Like I said on the podcast, I do want to focus on my spiritual and mental health. I want to be surrounded with my friends, do fun things, fish a lot, sing, the things that make me who I am. I want to do all of that.” That sounds great and everything It even sounds like Jed has maybe learned something throughout this ordeal. But here’s the thing; All he had to do was break things off withh is girlfriend back home before going on a show specifically designed to help him find a wife. That doesn’t seem like a lesson anyone needs to learn ; it should just be innate, you know? (Also: Do not bash this girlfriend several months later , dude.) Stepping up way high on a soapbox, Wyatt later said in this same interview that he wants others out there to NOT follow his example. He wants them to learn from his sins. “To other guys out there who – they’re just out having a good time, they’re young and they’re having fun… I would want them to kind of see and understand that you never know when you’re gonna meet your person,” he said. Expressing regret over losing Hannah, he continued: “Could be today, could be tomorrow, could be ten years from now, but the person that you are leading into that means everything. I want to help other guys see that. “You just never know and there’s no better feeling than looking at someone and know that that is your person. You can mess that up by playing with other people’s emotions.” Hannah, of course, is actually single right now and recently admitted that she’s struggling . So if Jed were really serious, it could conceivably make a move to get back together with her. But we doubt she’d go for that, even if Wyatt did sound contrite on ABC’s After the Final Rose special. “First and foremost, from the bottom of my heart, I want you to know that I’m sorry,” he told her after getting dumped. “Apparently, they’ve already shown where I half apologized but, especially in hindsight, now that I’ve had time to review myself and my past and my behaviors towards not only you but other people, I fully see that I wasn’t the best that I could be. “And by lacking details to you, the things that you deserve, and the things that you want, it kind… ruined what we found here in a place that I never would have expected to find love like this with someone that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. “And I know that you felt the same and I’m sorry that I took away that experience from you. I’m sorry that this has hurt your family, your friends, Bachelor Nation, everyone, my family, I’m sorry. “I’m responsible for this. I will own up to it all day.” View Slideshow: The Bachelorette Stars: Where Are They Now?
Hannah Brown is the first to admit that her life has been turned upside down . Her role as Bachelorette was not the journey she expected. Instead, she’s living alone for the first time, and she’s being very honest with fans. Hannah is struggling with where her life has brought her. Hannah Brown posted a lengthy confessional essay on her Instagram. “Honest policy: I’m struggling,” the beloved Bachelorette begins. She acknowledges that “Life is so different.” “Since last August, I’ve been a pageant queen, a bachelor contestant, and the Bachelorette,” Hannah notes. “I’ve been in love with multiple people, I got engaged, I broke off an engagement,” she recalls. “And I shared it all with millions of people.” “My faith has been questioned by thousands who don’t know my heart,” Hannah laments. “And,” she continues. “My transparency with my decisions has labeled me promiscuous.” None of her actions have deserved that label — though there is of course nothing wrong with promiscuity. “Simultaneously,” Hannah writes. “I’ve become a role model for young women and started bigger conversations around faith, and sex.” “I’m living on my own for the first time,” she adds. “And shuffling through this life of next steps with press, media, and opportunities galore.” “I miss my friends and family that have watched my life explode,” Hannah expresses. Living on your own for the first time is a big deal. That’s also a stark reminder of how young Hannah is. “I feel guilty,” she admits. “Because I don’t have the time or emotional capacity to fill each of them in on my life right now.” Hey, no judgment here. “I can’t keep up with the people that matter most,” Hannah laments. “Because I can barely keep up with my own life right now.” “I am not complaining about this past year of adventures,” Hannh clarifies. In fact, she notes that there have been some very positive changes. “The woman who has emerged would shock the mirror-image young girl from a year ago,” she says. Hannah acknowledges: “I have so many blessings to be thankful for.” “However,” she adds. “It’s uncharted territory for me, and it’s been hard to really process what the heck is going on.” “Maybe I needed write this out to remind myself I’m human,” Hannah suggests. “And it’s okay to be overwhelmed.” She adds: “And maybe, I just needed to remind you guys too.” “Life is beautiful, but wild,” Hannah emphasizes. “I think it’s okay to be strong-to know you’re strong-but to still feel weak simultaneously.” “I believe that’s when the magic happens,” she writes. “My spirit has opportunity to grow and blossom from this place.” “Healing and restoration can happen,” Hannah affirms. This is where Hannah begins to discuss her journey through the lens of her faith. She is a Christian. “I can rest knowing that My Savior has compassion and wants to help and love me through this journey,” Hannah writes. “I’ve just got to let Him.” “I don’t know if I have been lately,” she admits. “But I am now because honestly, I think I would give out if I didn’t.” “So yeah,” Hannah continues. “I’m not going to struggle to disguise my weakness.” “I’m just gonna give over the keys to my main man Jesus,” Hannah concludes. “And let him bless me through this ride.” In times of doubt and troubles, leaning on your faith can be a powerful way to cope. Good for you, Hannah. View Slideshow: Jed Wyatt Trashes Ex-Girlfriend, Really is Such a Jerk Face
WARNING: You will need a box of tissues while reading the following post. Actually, you better make it two boxes. Just to be safe. On Monday morning, just several hours after exchanging vows with Ashley Iaconetti — in front of friends, family members and loved ones in Rhode Island — Jared Haibon jumped on Instagram and gushed over his brand new wife. And we mean he GUSHED over her. “There’s so many emotions running through my body right now,” Jared wrote on Instagram alongside a photo from his wedding day. He continued in equally sentimental fashion: “I woke up yesterday morning, the day of my wedding, crying. Not from sadness, or fear. I was crying because I was so overwhelmed with happiness, excitement, gratefulness and humbleness. “Ashley is my best friend, my person, my soulmate and now my wife. I love this woman more than words will ever allow me to express.” Ashley and Jared starred together on Bachelor in Paradise Season 2 and got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise Season 5. In between, they dated on and off until Jared admits he got a “kick in the ass” by seeing Ashley in a serious relationship with someone else. At that point, in early 2018, the pair got serious and then got engaged a few months later. Added Haibon in this new Instagram message: In the coming days/weeks/months, I’ll be sharing so many pictures and videos from our wedding because it was the best day of my life. At this moment, I truly feel like the luckiest man in the world. According to various insiders and outlets, the romantic wedding featured personal vows from both the bride and groom. Bachelor in Paradise producer Elan Gale officiated and familiar names in attendance included Nick Viall, Dean Unglert and couple Jason Tartick and Kaitlyn Bristowe. Elsewhere, American Idol’s David Cook actually perform “Ever the Same” for the couple’s first dance, just like he did at our wedding. Just kidding. This one sounds far more special than that of anyone on The Hollywood Gossip staff. “It was just a big party! The DJ played a lot of Disney songs, musical soundtracks and Backstreet Boys—the music was very Ashley,” an E! source says, adding: “There was a lot of dancing and it went pretty late but a bunch of people continued partying afterward… “Ashley was a glowing gorgeous bride. She was so happy all night. You could tell they both were so happy.” What else do we know about the big day? The bride and groom exchanged Neil Lane wedding bands — and Dunkin’ Donuts even teamed with Banga Portrait Studio to provide custom edible photo donuts as an extra-special treat. How fun! Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon have officially gone from paradise to perpetual bliss. So the semi-famous couple hopes, at least. The Bachelor in Paradise alums exchanged vows on Sunday evening in Rhode Island, People Magazine and other outlets have now confirmed, with Iaconetti speaking to this publication about the occasion and saying the following: “We freakishly agreed on everything. Growing up we had the exact same vision of our wedding, [doing] it as grandiose as it has become.” Added Haibon, whose dog Clark served as the precious and beyond adorable ring bearer: “We’re so accustomed to being together, and living together, that marriage is the obvious next step!” Among other beloved/well-known members of Bachelor Nation, People writes that Nick Viall, Dean Unglert and couple Jason Tartick and Kaitlyn Bristowe were in attendance at the event. It’s certainly been quite the journey for these two reality stars. Viewers met Iaconetti on Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor … and then were introduced to Haibon on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette. Both suitors advanced pretty far in their quest at those times to find a soulmate, but neither earned the final rose. However, they refused to give up on love and/or fame, appearing on the second season of Bachelor in Paradise. They did go on a date during this run of episode, only for Haibon to dump Iaconetti. who made it very clear during their initial time together that she was totally smitten with Jared. Still, the pair remained friends and even had a few romantic flings in the months that followed. Finally, in May of 2018, Haibon admitted that seeing Ashley with another man served as a “kick in the [rear end]” for him; it made him realize that he truly did want to be with Iaconetti. “I never felt like it was over between us after Paradise,” Jared said in a video the two filmed about a year and a half ago, adding back then: “I’m not gonna lie and say that I was in love with Ashley during BiP. It was a slow build for me.” About a month after this footage was shot, Jared proposed to Ashley — on a Season 5 episode of Bachelor in Paradise ! “There’s just this undeniable, magnetic force between the two of us that just is indescribable,” Haibon told People at the 2018 Nylon Young Hollywood Party, continuing at the time: “Love conquered.” Later, Iaconetti said the following to Bachelor alum Higgins during iHeartRadio’s The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast: “He is my person. He is my soul mate.” How very sweet, right? As for specific details from the wedding, courtesy of People? Iaconetti wore an Ines Di Santo ballgown she purchased from Lovella in Glendale and jewels from Brooke Rayn Jewelry. Haibon chose a tuxedo from Black Tux. They exchanged Neil Lane wedding bands. Iaconetti and Haibon served New England-inspired hors d’oeuvres and treated guests to a pasta bar during cocktail hour, prior to everyone tucking into traditional wedding fare by Blackstone Catering. American Idol alum David Cook serenaded the newlyweds for their first dance with “Ever the Same.” Dunkin’ Donuts also teamed with Banga Portrait Studio to provide custom edible photo donuts as an extra-special treat. Saaid Iaconetti: “Jared and I from the very beginning have been saying we don’t want our wedding to be a party. We want it to be a romantic experience!”
Bachelor in Paradise did not save the drama for its mama on Monday night’s Season 6 premiere. Instead, it saved the drama almost entirely for Blake Horstmann, the runner-up on Becca Kufrin’s edition of The Bachelorette , and the two women with whom he hooked up last night. Before we delve into that drunken chaos, a quick refresher: This summer’s crop of horny contestants includes: Colton Underwood’s finalists Tayshia and Hannah G. A villain from Hannah Brown’s very recent season, Cam. Her former suitor John Paul Jones. Veteran franchise member Chris Bukowski. And other Paradise veterans such Bibiana, Wills, Annaliese and Derek, who’d gotten engaged on Bachelor in Paradise season 4. While they were hoping to start something brand new and exciting in Vallarta, Nayarit, one participant said she needed to figure out the feelings she had in an existing relationship. That would be Demi, also from Colton’s season, who revealed in a pre-beach talk with Hannah B. that she had “kind of been seeing someone.” “Plot twist, it happens to be a woman,” Demi said on air, adding: “It’s not something that I need to label, so I feel like I don’t have to proclaim that I am gay, I am straight, I am bisexual, I am this. I just like who I like. It doesn’t matter who or what you are, it’s the person.” Demi added that this woman was “amazing,” but that she is not in an exclusive relationship. So bring on the hook-ups, people! Men and women! Once she hit that warm and inviting sand, Demi found a connection with 32-year-old Derek — and they ended up kissing in the hot tub, which we’re pretty sure it mandated in the show’s by-laws. “I’m ready to find someone that’s ready to have a relationship, and I’m having fun exploring,” she explained in an on-camera interview. “I’ve had some fun with Derek tonight. He’s a sweet, sweet man and I feel good whenever I’m around him. Derek is a good kisser and I love it. “I do think that Derek’s sexy. I’m having a lot of fun but I’m definitely trying to take it one day at a time right now.” As for Blake? He was trying to take it one woman at a time… … and not always succeeding. “Blake and I talked for a few months and it was really great, but he played me and that sucked,” Caelynn, 23, told host Chris Harrison of her ex, adding: “It wasn’t fun. I really did struggle and he hurt me. So if he is here, I just want to clear it up and I’m hopeful that Blake will man up.” Horstmann immediately ran away once he saw Caelynn descend the stairs. “Blake sucks,” she continued, as many of the other female contestant expressed interest in going on a date with the handsome 30-year-old. “All of the girls are saying what a great guy he is, and I’m sitting there like, you guys don’t even know who this guy is. We were seeing each other, I was pretty sure it was exclusive. “He’s done some really horrible things to me. So now I’m not interested in him. He’s made it clear he’s not interested in me. I’m a mistake. He’s never apologized, and that’s hurtful.” Naturally, Blake received the first date card, promptly asking out Tayshia. As they went off for their evening together, Caelynn opened up to bartender and former Bachelorette contestant Wells. “I thought he was a great guy and then we really had something,” she told Wells of Blake. “We talked about skipping Paradise and coming out with us, and then he ghosted me. Just like fully stopped communication and now I’m here. F-cking first date. And then we saw each other at a music festival. “He ended up sweet-talking me and we spent the night together. And we wake up and I’m in his bed and he’s DMing Hannah G. I’m still in his bed, he’s talking about how hot Tayshia is. “I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ Like no dude, that’s not okay. And then he was like, ‘I just want to let you know I hooked up with Kristina [Schulman, from Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor] the night before.’” She went on to say that Blake told her the two of them had to keep their old romance a secret in Mexico. Watch Bachelor in Paradise Season 6 Episode 1 Online Wells encouraged Caelynn to spread the truth about Blake, so precisely that and let Onyeka from Colton’s season be the first to know about her bad experience with Paradise‘s most in-demand hottie. “We were like FaceTiming three times a day, texting every day,” Caelynn told Onyeka, explaining: “I really liked him. Like I was like, I actually see something with this guy. And everyone last night is like, he’s the king of Paradise. Everyone wants to date him. I was like, guys, he’s so good at twisting things. Very smooth… “He treats girls like scum.” Kristina then arrived… with a date card of her own. And she asked out Blake! “Me and Kristina were hanging out maybe like six or seven months ago,” Blake told the other men. “It started as a friendship and then it moved into something more. But whether it was the timing or whatnot, but we decided to stay friends and we have been. We’ve still like honestly, we talk. “We’re still there for each other for certain things. Honestly, we’ve been very open with each other. It ended very mutually.” Kristina didn’t see it the same way, however. “I know what happened with him and Caelynn. I honestly thought he would have a little more respect for me, so knowing that he spent the night with her kinda hurt my feelings,” she said. “That’s a slap in the face to me, and I will not let myself be f–ked over again. So today, I’m going to make Blake my bitch.” Cue an evil laugh… and the conclusion of the episode… and the start of yet another season of this franchise where the ladies are here to hold men accountable for bad behavior. We hope that’s the case, at least.
You know how Jed Wyatt came across like a total lying, rude douche canoe during his run on The Bachelorette? Well… it turns out that he's an even bigger lying, rude douche canoe than we previously believed. It's true! The 25-year old singer spoke at length during the August 2 episode of Ali Fedotowsky and Rachel Lindsay’s “Bachelor Happy Hour,” discussing all that transpired this season between him, Hannah Brown and his pesky ex-girlfriend, Haley Stevens. Why has our opinion of Wyatt plummeted to even lower depths now than it was at before? Scroll down to find out! 1. Ready for a Quick Refresher? Here we go: Wyatt was the final man standing for Hannah Brown on The Bachelorette Season 15. He proposed to her on the finale and she accepted. 2. HOWEVER… … Brown then came across some articles and Internet posts that alleged Wyatt had left a woman behind when he left for Los Angeles and The Bachelorette. These reports claimed that Wyatt told this woman, Haley Stevens, that he loved her and was only going on the show to further his music career. 3. How Did Hannah React? She ended their engagement after just two days after Jed admitted that the articles were basically true. He did date Haley, he did sleep with her, he did tell her he loved her and he didn’t even formally end their relationship? 4. What? He Didn’t?!? Nope. He admitted on air that he just assuemed Haley would get the message about the romance being over once she saw him on The Bachelorette. 5. Does He At Least Feel Bad About It? We guess so. “The main thing is just how sorry I am. I really have had time to think about the things that have happened and how Hannah has felt. I’m very remorseful and ultimately just want to become a better person because of all of this.” 6. What Has He Now Said About Haley? “If you really do love someone, no matter how promising they’ve made it seem, if they’re going on a dating show, regardless of why they’re going on a dating show, why would you stay with them?” Wyatt actually said on Bachelor Happy Hour, basically trashing Haley for being an idiot and adding: “If I was in a relationship, I would not have gone onto a dating show. That’s just me. I’m not a cheater.” View Slideshow
We’re trying to remain calm, you guys. We’re trying not to read too much into this. But we’re not entirely sure how to react to the following news without jumping up on our couches and screaming at the top of our lungs and imagining what will happen next… … because Tyler Cameron was just spotted with Hannah Brown. On Friday morning around 10 a.m. On his way out of Hannah Brown’s Los Angeles residence. Which almost definitely means the pair spent the night together, which almost definitely means they boned, which has us SO darn psyched!!!! TMZ has published photos of Cameron on Brown’s doorstep, a seemingly very satisfied smile on The Bachelorette’s face. Hannah, of course, rejected Tyler on this week’s Season 15 finale, selecting Jed Wyatt to be her husband instead. HOWEVER, Brown learned two days after accepting Jed’s proposal that he had been lying throughout their relationship and actually had a girlfriend bach home. Hannah prompted dumped the loser. “I am not with Jed anymore,” Hannah confirmed to Chris Harrisonin on the After the Final Rose special this past Tuesday evening, adding: “The engagement is over. We are not together. That’s not what I said yes to…When I said those things, the things I said to him on my engagement day, I thought that was my day. “I feel like that was taken from me… It’s been really hard to grapple with that, but I know that what I got is not what I ever wanted for a life partner, love that’s not built on a foundation of truth and honesty.” The entire Internet basically applauded Hannah for this decision. And then they applauded her even harder when she actually asked Tyler out for a drink on this same ABC special. “I would love to. Just tell me when, I’m there,” Cameron replied immediately to Hannah’s offer of a casual evening out. According to an insider, Hannah invited Tyler over on Thursday and he ended up spending the night. The entire night. “Tyler got to Hannah’s place around 9 p.m. and they stayed in,” a source told E! News, adding: “He spent the night with her and left this morning after 10 a.m. She walked him out to his car and they hugged and kissed. He had an overnight bag and they looked very happy together.” Tyler is still in the running to be the next Bachelor, but this possibility seems less and less likely the more he and Hannah continue their romance. Wrote Cameron on Instagram hours after accepting Hannah’s date invitation: You taught me so much about myself and pushed me to be a better man. I learned so much from you and so did the rest of Bachelor Nation. You were what we all needed as a lead. You showed strength and grace in the most beautiful way. You kept it real and gave us all of you. As one chapter closes, another one begins. The world is yours girl! Excited to see what you do with it. Yeah. This guy is a keeper. Even if you didn’t watch Hannah Brown’s Bachelorette season finale , there’s still a good chance that you heard about all the insanity that unfolded. If you didn’t, here’s a very brief rundown of what happened: In short, Jed Wyatt proposed to Hannah Brown , she accepted, and then all hell broke loose. Hannah broke up with her new fiance after learning that Wyatt had a girlfriend waiting at home while he was filming. So Brown figured it all out before she made the colossal mistake of marrying Wyatt and she even got some semblance of a happy ending when her runner-up, Tyler Cameron, agreed to go on a date with her. But what about the woman Jed was cheating on? After all, Haley Stevens came forward to expose Wyatt at great personal risk. If Jed had been a better liar, it’s possible that no one would have believed her, and she might have become a national laughingstock. Instead, she saved Hannah from making a life-changing mistake. Now, Brown has a message for Stevens that’s likely to be music to the ears of irate Bachelorette fans: I’m better than d-bag Jed, and so are you! “I hope that she knows what she’s worth and what she deserves, and learned a lot through her relationship just like I learned a lot through mine,” Hannah tells People magazine in a candid new interview. As for what her own future holds, Hannah described it in the endearingly roundabout fashion she’s become known for: “I do feel like this was in my plan, and even though I sometimes don’t understand why I had to go through some of the pain that I’ve been through the past few months,” she tells People . “I learned a lot, and had to really look at some of my patterns right with my own eyes and make the decision that would be really hard for anybody to end what you thought was going to be forever, but I learned so much about who I am and what I define as love, and love myself and know my worth,” Hannah continues. “it was really, I think, a huge moment for me to be able to step away from that relationship, and know my strength from that, so I think it was all supposed to be in this way.” As for whether or not she would ever try being Bachelorette again (given that her season was kind of a dud), Hannah says she’s done seeking love on camera — for the time being. “That is a little soon for me to even think about,” she tells People. “I want to be a normal—as normal as I can actually be—person and just really continue to process the crazy ride that I was just on, but I will always be thankful for having this opportunity and will love my Bachelor family. But as far as that, I can’t really think about that just yet.” If anyone’s entitled to another go-round, it’s Hannah. We just hope she’ll adjust her douche detector and get a little bit better at weeding out the Jeds and the Luke P’s first. View Slideshow: The Bachelorette Spoilers: How Will it End?
