The Voice Recap: Did Adam Levine Make a Mistake?

Two of Adam Levine’s acts were in the bottom three on Monday night’s episode of The Voice, and it injected a nice dose of drama into things.  Reagan Strange and DeAndre Nico shared some time in the bottom three with Blake Sheldon’s Dave Fenley.  Things took an explosive turn when it was revealed that Reagan Strange was unwell and would not be able to sing for the Instant Save.  Viewers were still able to vote for her meaning that she could be sent home if she did not garner enough votes. Yes, it was a bizarre twist in the tale, but that was not the end of it.  Adam then went on to use every single moment he could to plug Reagan and get viewers to vote for her. He even went as far as doing so right after DeAndre’s performance.  “There is an unbelievably talented little girl right now who is not able to fight for her position on this show,” Adam said. “The thought of breaking her heart by not urging everyone to give this girl a shot to go and redeem herself next week would be too far beneath me.” In any case, Dave and DeAndre got to perform one last time while Reagan spent the results show backstage.  Dave went with “Amazed,” and you could tell he was rattled by being in the bottom three. As much as he tried to sing, he was nervous, and his performance was a pitchy mess.  DeAndre’s rendition of “All of Me” was not much better. He’s been in the bottom several times, and given that Adam was legit plugging Reagan at every turn, there was really no hope for him.  In the end, Deandre and Dave were eliminated, meaning Reagan got to sing another day … despite not performing in the results show.  Yikes.  Kirk Jay (Team Blake), Kennedy Holmes (Team Jennifer), MaKenzie Thomas (Team Jennifer), Chevel Shepherd (Team Kelly), Sarah Grace (Team Kelly), Chris Kroeze (Team Blake and  Kymberli Joye (Team Kelly) were all sent to safety earlier in the episode.  Adam’s actions will likely stir up a lot of angst from fans, but is this the beginning of the end for Reagan? Kailyn Lowry Shares Rare Photo of Lux. What Does It Mean?

Kailyn Lowry continues to confound her Instagram followers. The famous Teen Mom 2 star has said many times of late that she's single, yet one would be forgiven for thinking the opposite. She keeps mentioning Chris Lopez. She keeps sharing photos of Chris Lopez. She has even now included one of Chris Lopez and the ex-couple's son, Lux. What might this mean? Is Lowry purposely dropping hints? Or is she simply content that she and her third baby daddy are on good terms? Scroll down to see the latest photo and to delve into this confusing issue… 1. Chris Lopez and Lux! Together! We don’t get to see this very often. But Lowry posted this picture of Lopez and Lux together along with the caption “Twinzzz.” It’s just the latest example of Lowry and Lopez spending more time together. 2. See! Here They are Again! This picture was shared on October 9, 2018. “Phillies n shit,” Kailyn penned as a message along with it, despite the baseball season being over for this squad. 3. Is Kailyn Trying to Tell Us Something? We mean, she’s done more than merely TRY in the past. She’s come right out and referred to Lopez as her “first love,” adding in a blog post this summer: “I know, weird, when I had two kids with two other people. Breaking up with Isaac and Lincoln’s dads was upsetting because I felt like my kids lost the family aspect that I craved so badly for them. But this was different.” 4. Knock Me Up, Dude! As loyal Teen Mom 2 fans likely know by now, Lowry has also said she wants Lopez to impregnate her again. No, really. We are not making this up. 5. Right, Kailyn? “I would definitely have more, but I also know that my life isn’t really set up for another right now,” she previously told Us Weekly about adding to her family, dropping the bombshell as follows: “Ideally I would have liked Chris to be the father of my next child.” 6. Does This Mean She Wants to Get Back Together? Not necessarily. There’s articficial insemination and other ways to accomplish the pregnancy goal without a romance. Lowry just maybe wants a fourth child and wants this child to be biologically related to her third child. View Slideshow

The Voice Recap: Who Won The Final Battle?

The Battle Rounds came to a grinding halt Tuesday night, and while we witnessed three battles, a bunch were saved for the dreaded montage. With the Knockouts coming up and the season’s big twist set to switch things up, the show might actually remain exciting all season long.  Who would have thought it? Usually, the excitement fizzles out right before the live shows, but time will tell whether the producers messing with the formula will work.   Let’s break down the final three battles of the season! Team Kelly: Sarah Grace vs. Erika Zade – “No Roots” Sarah opened up about never having a vocal lesson before, so being in rehearsals was uncharted territory for her.  She was receptive to feedback, so that was a huge positive, but she didn’t feel like Alice Merton number would benefit her voice.  The same could be said for Erika. The true kicker here was that both women turned in solid performances, and it was difficult to pick between them.  Kelly went with Sarah, and nobody voted to steal Erika.  Team Blake: Kameron Marlowe vs. Kayley Hill – “Only Wanna Be With You” As this one kicked off, it seemed like Kameron was going to have the edge, but both performers were worthy of being kept in the battle for the recording contract.  There were no nerves here, just an excellent performance, and it’s sad that one of them had to go.  Kameron won this round, and Kayley was sent home.  Team Adam: DeAndre Nico vs. Funsho – “Can You Stand the Rain” The frustrating thing here was that both of the above performers were the worst of the night. There were no harmonies, and it made the overall performance rather weak.  Adam opted to stick it out with DeAndre while Blake decided to steal Funsho. It was a dumb move when you consider there were two much better singers sent home.  During the dreaded montage, we learned that Claire DeJean defeated Josh Davis to remain on Team Kelly, Kirk Jay beat Caeland Garner to stay on Team Blake, and Kennedy Holmes won over Lela to continue on with Team Jennifer.  Kennedy is probably the most popular artist in the show right now, so giving her the montage was a bizarre move.  What are your thoughts on the latest battles? The Voice Recap: Who Won Night 4 of the Blind Auditions?

After Monday’s Blind Auditions brought some of the worst auditions yet our way, five more people advanced to the next stage of the competition on Tuesday.  But were these five more worthy than the bunch that made the first episode of the week such a big drag? Let’s break down Tuesday’s performances! Reagan Strange (Team Adam) – “Meant to Be” This 13-year-old appeared on the stage and shocked everyone. With her mature attitude and dizzying vocals, she emerged as quite the contender.  As seems to be the norm on this NBC hit, first performance nerves can cause some problems, and that’s what happened here.  In the end, she joined Team Adam, and her future in the process will hinge on whether she can battle the nerves and whether Adam chooses the right songs for her.  Foushée (Team Adam) – “Redbone” Foushée appeared on stage and had all of the makings of a global sensation. Being the daughter of a drummer, she knew what she had to do to secure a place post-audition.  That’s why she made her way to Team Adam. It would have been fun to see what Kelly did with her, but Adam might be the next best thing.  Chris Kroeze (Team Blake) – “Pride and Joy” Chris shocked both the audience and the coaches. Adam thought he was a woman because nobody expected such a sweet voice from a man who looks like a country rocker.  That said, being put in Blake’s team might prove to be the biggest mistake, because Blake is going to throw every country song at him to see what sticks.  MaKenzie Thomas (Team Jennifer), “Big White Room” Makenzie returned after not getting anywhere during Season 14. Her aim here was to get the chairs turning because her nerves got the best of her the last time.  There was a great voice there, but a lot of work is required to make sure the teenager does not sound as pitchy as she did during the audition.  Thankfully, she’s on Team Jennifer, and we could not think of a better place for her! SandyRedd (Team Kelly), “River” This 35-year-old mother of two brought her A-game Tuesday night. With vocals that people can only dream of, the coaches rewarded her with a four-chair turn.  It was the biggest surprise of the night because the spots on each team are starting to look hella full, but SandyRedd was worth it.  In fact, she was so worth it that Jennifer Hudson threw both of her shoes at her. Is it a big compliment? We hope so.  In the end, she opted to go with Team Kelly.  What are your thoughts on the latest auditions? The Bachelor Recap: Arie Probably Had Sex With All Three Girls But Only Two Got Roses

The Bachelor’s penultimate episode of Season 22 began with three women, but only two would receive roses from Arie Luyendyk Jr. If you read The Bachelor spoilers , you know who predictably moved on to the finale … and how the finale is just the beginning. As revealed weeks ago – and seemingly confirmed on Sunday’s Women Tell All special, Arie gets engaged next Monday night. Then Luyendyk does something  super f–ked up, according to Caroline Lunny, who’s close to one of the final three, Becca Kufrin. We leave it up to you to decide if you want to check out those links and learn more. For now, let’s break down the overnight dates. (Also known as the long-awaited episode in which Arie romances Becca, Kendall Long and Lauren Burnham in the Fantasy Suite.) Arie and his trio of finalists headed for Peru for what truly may have been the most intense and save installment in Bachelor history, as the Main Hunk kicked things off by taking Kendall out . She told the viewers that she was “falling” for Arie, yet also knew she was emotionally lagging behind the other two women. “If Arie proposed to me today, I’d probably say no,” she actually admitted, earning points for a bit of honesty. However, all it took was a day of riding on dune buggies for Kendall to say she wanted to ride Arie raw, accepting his invitation to a fantasy suite. “I feel like I don’t want to move forward without knowing that there’s more than just the physical side – but after spending the day with you and talking with you tonight, I feel like you really made me so much more comfortable,” she explained. After a night of presumably hot sex, Kendall’s mind was changed and made up: She wanted that proposal and she wanted it bad! Next up, Arie took a shower (most likely) and then took out Lauren . They enjoyed time in the air over Nazca Lines, although Lauren was clearly stuck in her own head. Arie complained that he could only see “glimpses” of this “incredible woman,” to which she replied that she might actually leave the show. How come? Because she was jealous that Arie was also dating two other women. (Note to Lauren: It’s gotten better at least, right? He was dating 23 other women, like, eight weeks ago.) How did Arie figure out how to get Lauren into bed solve this trust issue? He told her he loved her! Just like that! Out of nowhere! “It’s just kind of crazy how quick and how hard I fell for you,” he says, adding: “I just want to let you know that I do feel confident in all this, because I love you. And I would hate to lose you. It feels so good to say that.” Cue the waterworks! Cue Lauren assuming this meant Arie wanted to marry her, not just ravage her between the sheets! “I just can’t see Arie ending up with anyone else but me,” Lauren said the next morning, after the two continually told each other they were in love. From there… Arie went out with Becca , who he dubbed “safe and comfortable.” The date? A trip on a catamaran. All that was on Becca’s mind? Telling Arie how she felt about him. She didn’t think Arie would reciprocate her feelings, but she just had to go for it. “At this point, I just feel so confident with you and where I’m at with you,” she said. “I’ve been dying to tell you that. I do. I do love you.” And guess what? Arie concurs! He whispers the L Bomb right back in response! And then he says it again and again after Becca asks him to and.. well… … let’s just hope Lauren wasn’t watching this part of the episode. “He just told me he loves me, and I am shocked,” Becca said later. “I did not think he would say that back, honestly. I’m so full and so happy and there’s just so much love, I feel like my heart is exploding. “I want to hear it. I want him to keep saying it over and over and over!” View Slideshow: The Bachelor Stars Ranked: Which Hunk is Hottest? She even added: “I see my life partner and my husband and the father of my children. I see it so clearly. Nothing can get in the way at all.” After another session of banging a finalist, Arie said Becca was “literally perfect” and that he had even considered proposing to her on the spot. It’s a good thing he didn’t, however, because her ex-boyfriend suddenly showed up on the scene! Some dude named Ross appeared and said he was determined to get Becca back after the two had dated for seven years. “I didn’t know anything about this show,” he said hilariously on camera. “I didn’t know it ended in a proposal until someone told me. Then I knew I had to do something.” Before confronting Becca, Ross told Arie that she was “the love of my life” and he just had to see if she felt the same way about him. Arie replied that he wouldn’t get in the way… Ross went to Becca’s hotel room… and total awkwardness ensued. “I feel like you live your life in a movie, and you think it’s going to work out like The Notebook,” she told him, and she wasn’t finished: “This is like, you inserting yourself into my life, and that’s not your place. You are holding on to a shred of hope that we had years ago, so long ago. “We have both changed so much. You don’t really know who I am anymore, and I don’t know who you are anymore. I can’t go back to that. I don’t want to go back to that.” Harsh, but honest. Goodbye, Ross. So that brings up to the Rose Ceremony and Arie saying each remaining woman is “amazing and special.” But one apparently was not as amazing and special as the other two. “We had an amazing night together, and I always have so much fun with you,” he told Kendall, prior to destroying her heart and her spirit. “I know that next week is big. I’ve just been thinking a lot about us, and I just don’t know… I don’t think we can get there.” And that was that. Kendall took the news pretty well, actually, perhaps it finally hit her: Wait, I was one of three woman this dude banged in three nights! I can deserve so much better! Are you ready for the grand finale next Monday might?

The Voice Recap: Kelly Clarkson Joins the Panel!

The Voice Season 14 is a go, and that can only mean one thing: A new wave of singers will engage in a fight to the death with the aim of emerging with a recording contract, some recognition, and hopefully, some staying power.  The judging panel consisted of Kelly Clarkson and Alicia Keys, and of course, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. The latter two are likely going to be with the show until the bitter end at this stage.  Why leave when you’re getting a healthy salary, and some recognition? The show still rates very well, so there’s that.  Let’s break down the first batch of Blind Auditions to see who emerged from the rest, and who is already circling the drain.  Britton Buchanan – “Trouble” 17-year-old, Britton, took to the stage first and his voice was one you would expect to make far into the competition. It was filled with solid moments.  The kid looks like someone you would expect to be in a boyband from the 1990s, but he’s got just enough charisma for an entire band.  He advanced to the next stage. Let’s face it; there would have been shouting from the streets if he was sent packing after that performance.  Rayshun LaMarr – “Don’t Stop Believing” While Britton had a lot of charisma, Rayshun did not. His performance of the Journey classic was stilted, and not very pleasant to the ears.  It was not a great first attempt, but he advanced to the next stage. Will he be able to get a handle on his voice before it’s too late? Kyla Jade – “See Saw” Once upon a time, Kyla was a backup singer for the one and only Jennifer Hudson. Her solo performance on The Voice was something else.  She needs to make a clause in her contract with the show that only allows her to perform Aretha Franklin songs because there was something so compelling about her performance.  She knew what was expected of her and went the extra mile. More like this, please! Kelsea Johnson –  “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” This 21-year-old delivered a performance that was full of energy, excitement, and talent. She kept control of her beautiful voice throughout.  In turn, she was rewarded with a spot in the next stage of the competition. Not bad.  Drew Cole – “Sex and Candy ” Drew is a 25-year-old bartender who “did not move to Los Angeles to be a bartender.” The good thing about him is that his voice is different enough from the others in the competition.  On a show like The Voice, it’s essential to make a lasting impression and Drew accomplished that goal.  D.R. King – “Believer” D.R. struggled throughout his performance. It was not the most stable and made us wonder whether there was something else going on.  Maybe he could not get on board with the whole being on the show thing, but still, we’re surprised he made it through to the next stage.  Justin Kilgore – “Tomorrow” Well, this may be our new contender to win the whole thing. He secured a four-chair turn that found the coaches battling to get the kid on their team.  He was polished and seemed to know what sound he was going for. That’s a big positive, and it means the coaches will get an early lead if they get him on board.  Kelly secured Justin, and all was right in the world! What did you think of the latest season opener? The Voice continues tonight on NBC.  View Slideshow: The Voice Winners: RANKED!

Ray J and Princess Love: Expecting First Child!

Ray J has once again made news for engaging in sexual intercourse. The lesser known participant in that Kim Kardashian sex tape from several years ago, the Love & Hip Hop cast member now has an announcement to make. It also has to do with sticking his penis inside of a vagina. But this time the vagina belongs to his wife. And this time the act has led to the creation of a new life. That’s right, Princess Love is pregnant!!!!!!! The reality star confirmed this exciting piece of unexpected news via an Instagram post that included a close-up of her baby bump. It also included the following caption: It’s such a blessing from God to be able to carry our child. We kept this ourself until after the first trimester because it’s bad luck to announce too early. But we’re so proud to share this journey with you guys. Thank you for all of the love and prayers. Ray J included the same snapshot and same message on his official social media account. It’s unclear just when Princess Love is due, but she must be at least 12 weeks along. That means she’ll likely give birth in late spring or early summer. Appearing as a guest cohost on The Real on Monday, Ray J also told viewers: “Love is on my mind. Love is on my heart. Princess and I are expecting.” The quasi artist then stood up and and clapped for himself. Seriously, Ray J is the greatest. “I’mma be a dad,” added Brandy’s brother and Snoop Dogg’s cousin. “I’m nervous, excited. It finally happened. My first one.” Ray J went on to say he doesn’t know the gender of the baby-to-be or the exact night of conception. But he and his wife had been trying “for awhile.” “It’s not as easy as people think,” Ray J said. “For some people, they just go on tour and get everybody pregnant. But for me, it was love. We took our time, and as we were taking our time, it just took a little while.” Ray J and Princess Love – who have been through A LOT – got married in August of 2016. Their fertility problems were chronicled throughout season 4 of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, as they further expressed their frustrations during the VH1 reality series’ reunion special in October. Ray J, of course, banged Kim on video back in 2003 – and he still rakes in money each month off this sex tape! He’s continued to promote it as well, famously releasing the single ” I Hit It First ” soon after Kim got together with Kanye West. Like we said, Ray J is the best. And he has a big penis. The Voice Recap: A Surprise Guest Appears

The Top 11 performed on the latest episode of The Voice, and Gwen Stefani made a surprise appearance.  During the commercials, she started taking pictures with Blake, and it was all then shown on live TV. Yes, it all took place during a split screen, so there really is no hiding from the cameras.  Back to the performances. There were some real shockers, and we have all the details below! Janice Freeman – “Shine” by Collective Soul Janice’s performances have been a bit all over the place throughout the season, and this one was no different. One second she can have the best voice around, and then she starts shouting, and it ruins the whole thing.  Shaky performances are not good because they can be a sign that the person is just too nervous to own a song, and that could be her ultimate undoing. Red Marlowe – “The Dance” by Garth Brooks Red likes to show off his country voice, but this was not the best song to do it. The performance was average at best, and he struggled to hit some of the lower notes, and that’s a bit alarming.  As a whole, it was decent because it was just the low notes he struggled with, but it should be a cautionary tale for him to choose the right song in the future.  Shi’Ann Jones – “Listen” by Beyoncé Performing a Beyoncé is no easy feat, but this was a surprisingly convincing rendition. There were shaky vocals here and there, but for the most part, it was solid, and it should keep her fighting in the competition for another week.  Adam Cunningham – “American Girl” by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers With the instant save saving Adam last week, the artist had to switch things up this week to garner some more votes. Thankfully, he delivered a rendition that was one of his best to date.  He really went back to the drawing board because he knew it was time to fix his vocals.  Brooke Simpson – “What About Us” by Pink This should have been another excellent performance for Brooke, but there were some issues, and it was difficult to hear any of the vocals. This will not bode well when it comes to voting.  Davon Fleming – “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston Who would have thought Davon would go with a Whitney song and make the judges putty in his hands? It was a phenomenal rendition that immediately put him up the food chain.  Ashland Craft – “Chicken Fried” by Zac Brown Band Ashland went all out for her latest performance, and you could tell she had taken all the feedback on board. The whole package was great, and she should have no trouble staying in the competition.  Addison Agen – “A Case of You” by Joni Mitchell Changing a song up is part of the game, and Addison did just that during the live show and it benefited her. With some high notes thrown in for good measure, it was one of her best performances yet.  Keisha Renee – “It Matters to Me” by Faith Hill Keisha’s performance left a lot to be desired. Her vocals to date have been astounding, but this song was not the best one to show them off. Generally, she is one of the best of the night, but this was her worst night of the season.  Noah Mac – “Electric Love” by BØRNS Woah! Noah turned in a stunning rendition that practically saw him parading across the stage! Everything about this was something you would expect from a recording artist, so that’s pretty good. If he winds up in danger tonight, then there will be trouble.  Chloe Kohanski – “Total Eclipse of the Heart” by Bonnie Tyler Chloe saved the best for last. Her performance defined the whole night and proved it was time for the others to step it up or go home.  “Ladies and gentlemen, Chloe just set the bar,” said Blake after hearing it.  Okay, so that’s a wrap on the Top 11 performances! Who do you think will go home? Sound off below! View Slideshow: The Voice Winners: RANKED!

The Voice Recap: Who Made It to the Knockouts?

The Battle Rounds on The Voice have always served as a way to amp up the drama on the NBC juggernaut. We love drama, but not at the expense of dreams being dashed.  Most of the singers who make it through the Blind Auditions section of the show are already seasoned singers, so it makes little sense to have them battle it out.  It was night two of the grueling process, and there was not much in the way of shocks. Everyone who should have gotten through did, and that’s about all we could ask for.  Let’s break down the three battles that took place on the show.  Davon Fleming vs. Maharasyi – “I’m Your Baby Tonight” Maharasyi sprung a leak on the first day of rehearsals and struggled to keep up with Davon who was killing it. Jennifer noted that Davon went with it and proved he had what it took to advance to the next stage. It was pretty much the same thing during the performance. Davon was a clear frontrunner, but his voice was not as good as it was the first time we heard it. But that was still enough to win over Maharsayi who was sent packing.  Hannah Mrozak vs. Brandon Showell – “Cold Water” There was something off about Hannah during her rehearsal. She did not seem as into the competition as she should have been. This was the performance that was going to make or break her.  Brandon was decent in the performance, but it was clear he still had a lot of work to do if he wanted to advance to the next stage. Hannah’s performance improved as it went on, while Brandon’s stayed the same and it was not great.  Hannah was saved, while Brandon was sent home.  Mitchell Lee vs. Dennis Drummond – “Mr. Jones” This battle was always going to be a tough one. They both have very different voices, and that made their performance so delightful to watch. They don’t go together, so they should never duet.  Mitchell was saved by Blake, while Dennis was poached by Adam. That’s a wrap on Night Two! What did you think about the latest episode?
