Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 25 Recap: Welcome, Cheryl Burke!

Abby Lee Miller was a distant memory on Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 25 , and that’s because of Dancing with the Stars pro, Cheryl Burke showed up to take her place.  When the episode got underway, the mothers found out via social media that Abby Lee Miller had announced her intention to quit the show and it did not go down well with everyone.  This was especially concerning because nationals were just two weeks away and nobody knew what was going to become of the teams. Jill noted that she was shocked, but she probably knew.  The coach was facing a stint behind bars because of her tax fraud, so they should have gotten a backup plan in motion before her exit.  Ashlee continued to play bitter and trashed the dance routine from The Irreplaceables’ performance, and Holly was quick to point out that it was a good one.  Cheryl Burke appeared and brought along Ryan Ramirez to help sort things out with the girls. The moms knew a lot was riding on them making it through this next competition.  Cheryl quickly noted that the girls were lacking confidence and chalked it up to what was going on with Abby on social media. Their phones were blowing up because fans were reacting to the news.  Cheryl wanted the mothers to get on board with the team and stop talking about Abby. The mothers got mad when they heard the other girls were going to the same competition.  During rehearsals, the other girls were just not feeling it, and it seemed like they just wanted to roll over and give up. Cheryl decided it may be time to demote Kendall because she was not getting the routine.  The mothers then tried to blame themselves for the way their daughters were acting. Yes, it was terrible and proved just how toxic the environment is on this show.  Things with the other girls were not good, either. Abby had shunned them and told them they could not use the studio. They managed to reel in Miranda to choreograph for the girls. Stacy then said they should pay tribute to Abby with the performance.  That would be a good idea if Abby did not ditch them like a hot potato. They called the group routine “We Surrender.” Yes, they want Abby back.  Ashlee was struggling to come to terms with the fact that Christi and her followers were bashing her on social media. Jamie put it all down to the other moms being scared they win the competition.  At the competition, Chloe and Nia came in third place for their duet, but Camryn and Kendall secured a first-place finish. Abby’s girls managed a second place finish in the group routine, but The Irreplaceables crated in fifth place.  Abby then texted Miranda and fired her, but Ashlee and Brynn decided the show was not for them any longer and they departed. What does this mean for the other girls? Time will tell.  What did you think of the action? Sound off below! View Slideshow: Lifetime Reality Shows: The Ultimate Rankings!

The Voice Recap: Who Made It to the Knockouts?

The Battle Rounds on The Voice have always served as a way to amp up the drama on the NBC juggernaut. We love drama, but not at the expense of dreams being dashed.  Most of the singers who make it through the Blind Auditions section of the show are already seasoned singers, so it makes little sense to have them battle it out.  It was night two of the grueling process, and there was not much in the way of shocks. Everyone who should have gotten through did, and that’s about all we could ask for.  Let’s break down the three battles that took place on the show.  Davon Fleming vs. Maharasyi – “I’m Your Baby Tonight” Maharasyi sprung a leak on the first day of rehearsals and struggled to keep up with Davon who was killing it. Jennifer noted that Davon went with it and proved he had what it took to advance to the next stage. It was pretty much the same thing during the performance. Davon was a clear frontrunner, but his voice was not as good as it was the first time we heard it. But that was still enough to win over Maharsayi who was sent packing.  Hannah Mrozak vs. Brandon Showell – “Cold Water” There was something off about Hannah during her rehearsal. She did not seem as into the competition as she should have been. This was the performance that was going to make or break her.  Brandon was decent in the performance, but it was clear he still had a lot of work to do if he wanted to advance to the next stage. Hannah’s performance improved as it went on, while Brandon’s stayed the same and it was not great.  Hannah was saved, while Brandon was sent home.  Mitchell Lee vs. Dennis Drummond – “Mr. Jones” This battle was always going to be a tough one. They both have very different voices, and that made their performance so delightful to watch. They don’t go together, so they should never duet.  Mitchell was saved by Blake, while Dennis was poached by Adam. That’s a wrap on Night Two! What did you think about the latest episode? The Voice continues Monday on NBC! View Slideshow: The Voice Winners: RANKED!

The Flash Season 4 Episode 2 Recap: Did Barry and Iris Split Up?

Barry Allen and Iris West have been through a lot during the last three years, and just when they managed to right the ship, Barry had to leave for six months.  On The Flash Season 4 Episode 2 , the pair questioned their relationship and whether they would be able to make it work as a full-fledged couple.  Just when it appeared that things were returning to normal, Iris learned that Barry had gone out of his way to speed through her wedding planning for her.  At S.T.A.R. Labs, things got more strained for the couple when Iris found out that Barry had ditched a training session and did not think to ask her about it. This annoyed Iris because she felt like they were drifting apart.  Caitlin opened up to Iris about her and Ronnie going to couples counseling when they started working together, but Iris did not want to hear it.  As the day went on and Barry ignored advice from his wife-to-be, Iris dropped the bomb that they had an appointment thirty minutes later. The root of the problem was that Barry went into the speed force without consulting her.  Barry opined that if she asked him to stay, he would have and it would have just made things worse. The whole shrink session only served to make the couple stronger and claimed that, “We are The Flash.”  How romantic.  Barry and Iris may have solved their issues, but Gypsy was not impressed with Cisco because he kept blowing off their dates for work.  Gypsy had a reason to be mad: On her version of Earth, it was “1-1-1 Day” which meant two become one, or something. Cisco did get the opportunity to make it up to his girl.  He went all out for a beautiful, romantic dinner that we even wanted to attend.  The team went up against “Kilgore” who was going after all of the people who stole his crazy malware. The villain managed to get one up on Barry because Cisco added some changes to the suit.  Kilgore managed to hack and control it. Iris said it would be best for Barry to shock himself to short circuit the suit, thus, allowing him to eke out a victory against the villain.  View Slideshow: TV Star Salaries: Who Makes The Most In Drama? Barry did so and crept up on the meta with a cure for his virus. Kilgore revealed that there was plenty more of him to come.  The Thinker and The Mechanic then confirmed they were out to find all 12 of them. Yes, Barry and the team should be worried!
