The Voice Recap: Who Made it to Finale Night?

Eight became four on Tuesday’s episode of The Voice, but there was one big question that needed to be answered:  Did Reagan Strange make it through the vote after the controversy over her not performing in last week’s sing-off? Many fans have been campaigning for Reagan to exit the series because of everything that happened.  Advanced to Finals Kirk Jay (Team Blake) Chevel Shepherd (Team Kelly) Chris Kroeze (Team Blake) But who was in the bottom two? Yes, the bottom two are the unlucky ones who do not get a chance at a sing-off.  Gulp.  The unlucky two were Sarah Grace (Team Kelly) and Kymberli Joye (Team Kelly). It’s time to break down the middle three performances because only one of them would get the chance to compete in the finals.  Reagan Strange (Team Adam) – “Wherever You Will Go” Controversial contestant, Reagan floundered on Monday, and her save me performance was actually worse. Who would have thought it? The 14-year-old is simply not at the level she needs to be to be at this stage of the competition, and this is partly Adam’s fault for keeping her around longer than he should have.  MaKenzie Thomas (Team Jennifer) – “Up to the Mountain” MaKenzie should not have been in the sing-off. She should have been sent to safety at the top of the installment. Her Monday performance was solid, but she’s just not resonating with the viewers who are voting.  Kennedy Holmes (Team Jennifer), “How Do I Live?” Like Makenzie, Kennedy was another performer at the top of her game. Her performance was elegant, and she had a great stage presence.  There needs to be some changes to the way the votes are cast because this show is quickly falling apart.  In the end, MaKenzie and Reagan were eliminated, leaving Kennedy to advance to the finals.  This means Adam has no more acts left in the competition. Might have had better luck if he didn’t throw DeAndre under the bus last week? The Voice finale gets underway on Monday at 8/7c. View Slideshow: The Voice Winners: RANKED!

Iggy Azalea and Nick Young: It Really is Over!

The Cleveland Cavaliers shocked the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night, winning the NBA title and ending their home town’s championship drought after 52 years. But whatever. No big deal. The biggest basketball news from this weekend centered around a man who was not even on the court during the Finals: Nick Young is no longer engaged to Iggy Azalea. The shooting guard appeared to confirm this split a few weeks ago when he Tweeted happy birthday wishes to the artist, saying he missed seeing Azalea in a bikini . But Young wasn’t 100% clear at the time of his social media message. Conversely, Azalea left no doubt yesterday with what she wrote on Instagram about the relationship. “Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him – it’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to,” the shared with followers: “I genuinely wish Nick the best. “It’s never easy to part ways with the person you planned you’re entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page.” Azalea and Young got engaged in June of last year. However, a recording of Young bragging to a Lakers teammate over how he cheated on Azaela actually leaked online in late March, casting doubt on whether the couple would get married. You can listen to Young tell D’Angelo Russell about his affair(s) here: Nick Young ADMITS to Cheating on Iggy Azalea! WATCH! Iggy responded by threatening to chip off Young’s penis . But she did apparently try to really forgive her fiance… until that effort simply proved futile. We wish both Azaela and Young the very best in their future relationships. For the sake of his next love interest, let’s hope Young has learned a thing or two about cheating, bragging about to other people and/or both. NBA MVP Moses Malone Passes Away At The Age Of 60 Sad news to report in the sports world today. Via ESPN : Three-time NBA MVP and Pro Basketball Hall of Famer Moses Malone died Sunday at the age of 60. Malone, named one of the NBA’s 50 greatest players, was the Finals MVP in 1983, as he led the Philadelphia 76ers to the title. “It is with a deep sense of sadness that the Sixers family mourns the sudden loss of Moses Malone. It is difficult to express what his contributions to this organization — both as a friend and player — have meant to us, the city of Philadelphia and his faithful fans,” the 76ers said in a statement Sunday. “Moses holds a special place in our hearts and will forever be remembered as a genuine icon and pillar of the most storied era in the history of Philadelphia 76ers basketball. No one person has ever conveyed more with so few words – including three of the most iconic in this city’s history. His generosity, towering personality and incomparable sense of humor will truly be missed. We will keep his family in our thoughts and prayers and as we are once again reminded of the preciousness of life.” Condolences to the entire Malone family.
