The Voice Recap: Who Made it to Finale Night?

Eight became four on Tuesday’s episode of The Voice, but there was one big question that needed to be answered:  Did Reagan Strange make it through the vote after the controversy over her not performing in last week’s sing-off? Many fans have been campaigning for Reagan to exit the series because of everything that happened.  Advanced to Finals Kirk Jay (Team Blake) Chevel Shepherd (Team Kelly) Chris Kroeze (Team Blake) But who was in the bottom two? Yes, the bottom two are the unlucky ones who do not get a chance at a sing-off.  Gulp.  The unlucky two were Sarah Grace (Team Kelly) and Kymberli Joye (Team Kelly). It’s time to break down the middle three performances because only one of them would get the chance to compete in the finals.  Reagan Strange (Team Adam) – “Wherever You Will Go” Controversial contestant, Reagan floundered on Monday, and her save me performance was actually worse. Who would have thought it? The 14-year-old is simply not at the level she needs to be to be at this stage of the competition, and this is partly Adam’s fault for keeping her around longer than he should have.  MaKenzie Thomas (Team Jennifer) – “Up to the Mountain” MaKenzie should not have been in the sing-off. She should have been sent to safety at the top of the installment. Her Monday performance was solid, but she’s just not resonating with the viewers who are voting.  Kennedy Holmes (Team Jennifer), “How Do I Live?” Like Makenzie, Kennedy was another performer at the top of her game. Her performance was elegant, and she had a great stage presence.  There needs to be some changes to the way the votes are cast because this show is quickly falling apart.  In the end, MaKenzie and Reagan were eliminated, leaving Kennedy to advance to the finals.  This means Adam has no more acts left in the competition. Might have had better luck if he didn’t throw DeAndre under the bus last week? The Voice finale gets underway on Monday at 8/7c. View Slideshow: The Voice Winners: RANKED!

The Voice Recap: Did Adam Levine Address the Elephant in the Room?

Adam Levine found himself in the hot seat on Monday night.  The longtime coach on The Voice felt the ire of the internet last week when he urged viewers to vote to save Reagan Strange, despite her not being well enough to perform in the sing-off.  In the process, he threw his other act, DeAndre Nico, under the bus, and everyone seemed mad at him.  Last week “was a strange week, but it’s over now,” Adam said to Reagan. “DeAndre’s my boy. I love him. We talked. It’s all good.” Viewers later got to witness a video call between DeAndre and Reagan later in the night; the former had nothing but praise for his 14-year-old former teammate.  “Do your best, man,” DeAndre said, “and stay positive.” It’s classy for DeAndre to throw some support Reagan’s way, especially when you consider the backlash to this whole thing that could have been avoided.  If you thought Adam was ready to say anything else about it, you were wrong. Carson Daly seemingly decided against asking him much about the performers.  As for Reagan Strange’s big performance? It was meh.  The youngster went with Calum Scott’s “You Are the Reason,” and while the youngster has proven to have a solid voice, this was not the best song for her.  It was just all over the place, and her nerves were also to blame. By this stage of the game, you should be acclimated with performing live.  It makes sense that viewers wanted Reagan gone for that reason, but it remains to be seen whether Tuesday will be her big goodbye.  The best performance of the night was Kennedy Holmes and her rendition of “This Is Me.” She pulled out all the stops to ensure this Greatest Showman song was performed perfectly. She even put her own spin on it, to boot.  Whether viewers will vote for her is another story because, well, the viewer vote is never a sign of quality.  As for the worst performance of the night? That honor goes to Sarah Grace who went with “Sign of the Times” by Harry Styles.  There wasn’t anything remotely likable about this number. From shaky vocals to awkward moves, there was something off about the rendition from the get-go.  The true test will be whether she winds up in the bottom three, which could really go either way.  Who did you like best on the night?  Did Adam Levine make a mistake? Hit the comments below.  The Voice continues Tuesday at 8/7c.  View Slideshow: The Voice Winners: RANKED!

You Can’t Be Serious: 2 Crafty California Co-Defendants Creep $25,000 Worth Of Gas From Local Station Over 9 Months

It’s hard out here for a pimp with an empty tank… California Men Arrested For Stealing $25,000 In Gasoline Two men from California are accused of stealing about 6,000 gallons of diesel fuel worth $25,000 from an Eldridge gas station. The Big 10 Mart reported the fuel missing after it discovered discrepancies in their fuel measurements. Pargat Singh, 44, and Earnest Dickerson, 41, are both charged with second degree felony theft. “They were able to compromise the pumps to get the pumps to turn on and then they would fill their semi up with fuel,” said Eldridge Police Chief David Kopatich. That is all the information that Kopatich will allow KWQC to release about how the two men were able to steal thousands of gallons of diesel fuel from the gas station without anyone knowing. “They’re doing a pretty good job at it. They went undetected for about nine months,” said Kopatich. Early Wednesday morning, an officer spotted the red semi-truck with a white trailer the police department was on the lookout for. With gas prices jumping the way they are, we don’t blame ‘em!! Image via KWQC Source More On Bossip!
