I like Emma Roberts… I think there is something hot about her, mainly that she’s skinny, and stylish…. I think she’s got a good overall vibe, especially when she’s out there getting arrested for beating up her boyfriend like she did all those years ago. It’s funny and passionate. Not that I really know what her overall vibe is. I don’t pay attention to anything these people say or do. I just know she’s been in shit I’ve seen and didn’t annoy me. It’s been over a week since Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus were spotted kissing . Since then, Miley put slut-shamers on blast , but that’s not quite the same as officially, officially confirming that they’re an item. Now, the two are sharing cutesy (and steamy) photos, touching tongues in bed, and yes, confirming that they’re dating. Cody Simpson opened up to In Touch Weekly and other tabloids about his happy new relationship with Miley Cyrus. “I’m very happy. Yeah, I’m very, very happy, so,” Cody began. “She’s creative, she’s very passionate about what she does, and I’m very similar in that sense,” he observes. Cody explains: “That’s why we get along so well.” “We just have a ball and that’s the most important part of a relationship,” he affirms. “It’s like … we’ve been friends … the reason why it’s not like … it hasn’t been a really crazy sudden thing,” Cody states. The secret to their newfound happiness “is we’ve been friends for so long.” Cody continues: “When we sort of found each other again in a space where … we both met back in the day when we were partying a lot.” “We had a lot of fun then,” he admits. “But now we’ve found each other in a space where we’re not partying, working real hard.” He expresses: “And just like keeps things healthy.” Cody cannot stop singing the praises of being friends before being lovers. “It breaks the ice,” he explains. “That had never happened to me before.” “Any girlfriend that I’ve had in the past has always been immediate romance,” Cody recalls. He continues: “And so it’s kind of like a different experience having been friends with somebody before and developing that into something more.” “It’s just like a very natural, healthy feeling,” Cody gushes. He also says that the fact that they’re both so familiar with each other’s lifestyles is a huge bonus. “It’s just that I just have someone to come back to and someone who supports you,” Cody notes. “I’m very busy now working on my album and that’s kind of been … I’m out most of the day doing that,” he shares. If there's anyone who understands the complications that can arise from raising children with someone you're no longer in a relationship with, it's Leah Messer. Leah has three kids and two baby daddies. That's not a terribly uncommon set of circumstances, particularly in the context of the Teen Mom franchise. But unlike some of her co-stars, Leah has been to hell and back with her exes, yet has always managed to make amicable co-parenting her top priority. So perhaps there's no better candidate to offer advice to the stars of the latest Teen Mom spinoff, Young and Pregnant . In a video posted to MTV's YouTube page this week, Leah offers some words of wisdom to the network's newest stars. “When dealing with baby daddies,” she tells the camera, “communication is key.” “Both parents deserve to be in the child’s life,” Leah adds. “That is the most important of all,” she concludes. Sound advice, to be sure. Of course, given the show's difficulty with building an audience, the cast might prefer that Messer offer advice about how to attract viewers. But that's a conversation for another time. If you're a longtime Teen Mom 2 viewer, then you know that Leah has endured a whole lot of ups and downs in her love life over the years. These days, Messer is hooking up with Jeremy Calvert , the father of her youngest daughter. But it looks as though the former couple has stopped just short of a formal reconciliation. Leah and Jeremy slept together while in New York for this year's reunion show, and insiders say Messer would love to give their romance another chance. Unfortunately for her, it seems Jeremy is more hesitant. Leah tells friends she's keeping all of this from her kids so as not to create confusion. They’ve had their ups and downs since going public with their relationship, and Raiven has received a shocking amount of outright hate . Now, Bear is standing up for his lady love and the mother of his child and begging fans to stop being cruel. Bear Brown took to Instagram late Wednesday night to share an impassioned plea with his fans and followers. “Everybody!” Bear’s urgent Instagram message begins. “Please stop sending Raiven disrespectful messages!” People have said very cruel things to Raiven from the moment that they went public with their romance. The ensuing engagement news, breakup news, pregnancy news, and reunification news all unfortunately prompted even mroe vile trolling. “She’s is going through enough without naysayers spreading gossip!” Bear points out. “Raiven is pregnant with my child!” Bear writes. This isn’t just a reminder to be kind to a pregnant woman whom he loves, folks. Unfortunately, he makes it clear that absolute monsters have been accusing Raiven of getting pregnant by someone else and claiming htat it’s Bear’s. “We’ve been living in the same house for a while!” the self-styled King of Extreme points out. Bear assures his followers: “I don’t need some test to know this little miracle is mine!” Bear has zero doubts — about Raiven’s intentions or his child’s paternity. “It is completely 100% impossible for it not to be given the time frame!” he reveals. Honestly? At this point he’s said more than fans deserve. He can just tell conspiracy theorists where to stick it and leave it at that. “So please remember,” Bear writes. “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all!” That is some very good advice concerning a young reality TV couple who are just trying to live their lives. Bear then goes on to remind the world that he’s not just staying with Raiven because she’s pregnant. “Raiven is the love of my life,” Bear affirms strongly. Clearly! They dated for a full six months before they went public on their relationship. He then demands that anyone who considers themselves his fan “please show her the respect she deserves!” That is an extremely reasonable request — and he is, after all, the king of extreme . Bear didn’t devote his entire message to scolding hateful trolls. “And to everyone out there who has been so supportive!” Bear writes, yes, with his punctuation continuing to convey great enthusiasm. “Thank you!” he gushes. Bear then encourages his followers and supporters to “Stay AWESOME!” Awww, it was very good of him to stand up for the mother of his future child. Keep in mind that the hate with which Raiven has been bombarded hs played a factor on their relationship. How heavy a toll? It was why they broke off their engagement several weeks ago. People had attacked Raiven for being Bear’s girlfriend, for being pansexual, for being a relative newcomer to the family. The social media famous comedian has been guest co-hosting on The Rea l all week and on Friday, the ladies got all up in her business. There was trouble in romantic paradise on Monday night’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise. Demi Burnett — who made headlines this season by announcing she was bisexual and then choosing to stay with girlfriend Kristian Haggerty instead of fellow suitor Derek Peth — took issue with her same-sex lover on the latest installment. She accused Kristian of getting a little too close to her costars. Burnett struggled when she took note what she interpreted as Kristian flirting with other women in the cast. (Editor’s Note: Kristian was simply brought to Mexico by Chris Harrison and company to further Demi’s storyline… and she has since just stuck around.) Demi explained that she was not comfortable with all this affection, in part because she was still adjusting to being out of the closet. How did Kristian react to the couple’s first quasi fight of their relationship? By confronting Demi about it during a date, explaining that she used touch to show her friends she cared about them and never intended give off romantic vibes. “It doesn’t change how I feel about you,” she assured Burnett. Demi did her best to understand, but also opened up about her ongoing internal debate. “I feel like I’m not giving her enough, but I’m also struggling with my inner battle of being worried about how I’m making other people feel, which shouldn’t matter, but it does,” Demi said. “I hate that my brain works that way but I’m just scared. It has everything to do with me being uncomfortable with being gay around people … being gay around all these people who thought I was some straight girl. It’s scary. She continued: I’m getting comfortable with it, but it’s taking me some time. I feel so guilty because I feel bad for it taking time and I want to give her what she needs but I’m still uncomfortable with it because I don’t want people to be like, ‘That’s weird.’ I don’t want people to stare and be like, ‘Oh my God, you’re kissing.’ It’s just stressing me out and I’m trying not to be so concerned about myself and trying to think about her. IN THE BLAKE OF AN EYE… Kristian and Demi overcame this hurdle in their romance, but the same could not be said in the end for Blake and Kristina. “I have allowed myself to think about Kristina as being the mother of my children and as being my wife,” Blake confessed in an on-camera interview. “There’s something undeniable between us. We can’t deny each other anymore. We can’t deny the feelings that we have.” In an aggressive move, Blake then made his own date card for Kristina. And in an honest move, Kristina told Blake the following on their outing: “I don’t think I’ll be able to get where I need to get. I can’t get there if I’m being real. It would’ve been very misleading of me to continue these things. I’m sorry.” Ouch , huh? So much for that whole mother of my children thing, dude. “I did not expect this to go this way,” Blake responded. When Kristina rejoined the group on the beach, she announced that she was leaving Paradise. And then Blake shared the same sentiment with Clay Harbor. “Paradise just isn’t for me,” he told Clay. In the van on his way outta there, Blake wondered if perhaps his Paradise conclusion resulted from the tangled web of love he wove earlier in the season with Kristina, Caelynn, Hannah Goodwin and Tayshia Adams. Derek Peth didn’t simply leave Bachelor in Paradise Monday night . He also left his fellow Bachelor in Paradise contestants questioning their feelings, themselves and their place on the show in general. In particular, we write here about Tayshia Adams and Blake Horstmann and their reaction yesterday evening to Derek’s stunning departure. Tayshia, for instance, wasn’t certain how she felt about John Paul Jones in the wake of the Derek decision, while Blake had started to realizie his chances of finding love in Mexico were slim to, quite possibly, none. Yes, Adams admitted, she had a “soft spot” for Jones — but what did that really mean in the bigger picture? As for Horstmann? He had an epiphany on Tuesday’s episode and actually convinced himself that Kristina Schulman was the woman he had been searching for all along. “We always gravitate toward each other,” he told viewers on air. “Maybe we owe each other this, to give it a shot.” Suddenly inspirde, Blake grabbed Kristina for a chat and told her he was “all in” and totally sure of it… at the moment. “I thought I just wanted to be friends with you, I did,” he said. “And here I am, saying that I can’t stop thinking about you. It’s driving me f—ing crazy and it’s terrifying.” Could Kristina actually trust the guy responsible for so much drama this season ? She actually decided yes , she was willing to do so… resulting in Mike Johnson getting sent home at the rose ceremony. (So he could go prep to be the next Bachelor , we pray really hard.) It turns out that Blake and Bri had hit it off at Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson’s wedding just days prior (because of course they did) and when Barnes pulled Blake aside for a discussion, Kristina basically lost it. And yet: Blake stuck to his word, nicely declining Bri’s date card. She ended up going surfing with fellow newcomer Matt Donald, while Blake desperately – and unsuccessfully – attempted to break down Kristina’s walls back at the bungalows. At last, we get to Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Connor Saeli (from Hannah Brown‘s season of The Bachelorette), two people looking for love and no drama. “I came here for a relationship, and finally, I feel good,” Caelynn said at one point. “Connor and I are exploring what we have, and I’m happy. I deserve this after the hell that I’ve been through.” However, all was about to change. Just when it seemed as if nothing could go wrong, a freshly-shaven Dean Unglert made his totally unexpected return (!!!!!!!!!!) to beg Caelynn for another chance after dumping her — just a week ago. “When I left, I made a decision that I thought was best for you, but it wasn’t really fair of me to make that decision,” he explained, adding: “Then I flew back to San Diego, and the entire flight back I literally could not stop thinking about you. I rented a car and drove to the Grand Canyon, and as I was there I thought about how badly I wished that you were there with me.” How sweet and not remotely scripted, right? “I knew that I needed to come here and tell you that I wanted us to try and be in a relationship,” Dean added. “I came here to ask you if you would leave Paradise with me today.” Wow, huh? Caelynn didn’t know what to say or what to do. “Right now, I’m the most confused I’ve ever been in my entire life. This is not an easy decision,” she said. “I literally have the dangerous guy and the perfect man. I have no idea what to do.” We’ll need to tune in next week to find out what she chooses. Donald Trump’s relationship with his children has been a subject of intense scrutiny for several years now. As far as we can tell, the family dynamic breaks down like this: Ivanka is the obvious favorite, and in a more permissive time and place, she would likely wind up replacing her father’s mysteriously-slain wife in an ill-defined role, after Milania was snuffed out in a nefarious plot straight out of Shakespeare or George R.R. Martin. Don Jr., of course, is his father’s right-hand man and future fall guy, and as much as the sight of his shaved ferret visage might cause your lunch to rise in the back of your throat, the thought of him still defending his dad in his third or fourth year of sporting a county orange jumpsuit should give you a chuckle. Eric — what can we say about Eric that hasn’t already been said about Lenny in Of Mice and Men ? He might mean well, but he should not be trusted around children or small animals. Barron is just trying to maintain, and we very much look his Mommie Dearest -esque memoir about his years in the White House. And then there’s Tiffany — the most mysterious of the Trump children. For the most part, Tiff managed to keep a low profile during the years in which her father transitioned from harmless reality TV punchline to dangerous demagogue punchline. Prior to that transformation, Tiffany tried to make it as a singer , but she was held back by uncertainty within the music industry and the fact that she’s utterly lacking in anything resembling talent. In the year’s since her father rode a wave of white supremacist furor — sorry, “economic anxiety” — to the White House, Tiffany has been embroiled in the occasional mini-scandal here and there, but it’s usually just the usual gross nonsense we’ve come to expect from her dad, such as the time video emerged of Donald discussing Tiffany’s future breasts when she was a baby. (Again, the remnants of your most recent sandwich burbling up to your uvula is the appropriate response here.) It’s great for Tiff that she’s been able to distance herself from her sundowning dad, but the reason he’s allowed her to do so is undeniably sad. By all accounts, Donald simply doesn’t like Tiffany . The nature of their tempestuous relationship was essentially confirmed this week when a White House assistant named Madeline Westerhout made some off the record comments about Tiffany at a New Jersey golf club while in the company of reporters. “She had a couple drinks and in an uncharacteristically unguarded moment, she opened up to the reporters,” one insider told Politico. Specifically, Westerhout claimed that the president does not like to be photographed with Tiffany due to the fact that he considers her overweight. Westerhout was promptly fired for her comments, and Trump refuted the claim while speaking with reporters over Labor Day weekend. “I love Tiffany,” the president said, adding that she’s “great person,” which might be the most half-assed fatherly sentiment in history. Donald added that Westerhout’s comments are “absolutely false” and “hurtful.” “While Madeleine Westerhout has a fully enforceable confidentiality agreement, she is a very good person and I don’t think there would ever be reason to use it,” he later tweeted. “She called me yesterday to apologize, had a bad night. I fully understood and forgave her! I love Tiffany, doing great!” You know he had to cut himself off before adding: “I’m a very Forgiving President, folks.
