The actor popped life’s most important question to his McLarty in Malibu on July 2, Arquette’s rep confirms to multiple outlets. Making it a family occasion, the actor asked for the entertainment reporter’s hand in marriage during dinner with their two-month-old son, Charlie West; along with Arquette and Cox’s 10-year-old daughter, Coco. It went down at The Mastro’s steakhouse. “David was just waiting for the right time,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “He and Courteney both talked about taking the next step in their relationships… They both want what’s best for each other.” Arquette and McLarty have been dating on and off since 2011.
