Rapper Gunplay has turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest on armed robbery charges, his attorney and this cute photo at the station confirm. The warrant was issued in May, listing “robbery” as the crime. No other details about Gunplay’s alleged offense are listed. Lawyer Mike Grieco says “Gunplay voluntarily surrendered today without incident. There’s been an open arrest warrant for armed robbery with a firearm.” Not even two weeks ago, Gunplay was involved in the massive BET Awards brawl with 50 Cent and his crew. This armed robbery case is not related. However, the rapper was advised by his attorney to turn himself in after the fight with 50 Cent , after which he threatened to kill Fiddy and his entourage. He was not charged in that incident, however it drew attention to the active warrant for his arrest in Miami, so he headed down to the station there. More details to follow as the story develops …
