People Magazine has confirmed that the Nashville Season 3 star welcomed her first child with fiancé Wladimir Klitschko on Tuesday, December 9. The child is named Kaya Klitschko; she weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz., and measured 20 inches. “We are over the moon and madly in love!” Panettiere and Klitschko tell People. Panettiere remained mostly quiet throughout her pregnancy, though she did tell Hello Magazine early in her term that she was glad she was having a girl. “I’m thrilled that I am having a girl first because I feel like I know a lot about raising a strong woman,” she said at the time. “I feel very empowered myself and I think my daughter will, too.” We send our best wishes to the newly expanded family!
