With all the hullabaloo over Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald’s wedding (and what may have gone down after the wedding), her older sister has been out of the spotlight. It seems like a lifetime ago in Duggar Land, but Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard not even six months ago in Arkansas. Then the newlyweds quickly got pregnant. Mom Michelle Duggar, who sparked some controversy herself this week with her deletion of Facebook kissing photos , says Jill is doing very, very well these days. Her marriage to Derick Dillard has been a “very smooth transition,” she blogs of the cute couple who left the nest, noting that “they have their schedule already.” “They both get up and off to work or Jill works on her studies [to be a midwife]. Sometimes she’ll pop by our place since it’s awfully quiet at her house.” “She’s so used to studying with noise.” Michelle added that the couple’s home is all set and they are already entertaining: “It’s so sweet to see them starting their lives and their family together.” “It was truly the joy of [Jill’s] life to marry Derick and they both feel so blessed to have each other. The Arkansas natives grew up within 45 minutes of each other, but didn’t meet until late 2011. Jill recalled when Derick stopped by while caroling with a church group, and not long after, “Derick contacted my dad and asked if he would be a prayer partner during his two-year term in Nepal.” As for Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald , they’re enjoying marriage too … to the point where they even inspired her parents to showcase PDA of their own. Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar kissed in a photo reenacting one Jessa shared on Instagram, then texted it to her, which is either awkward, adorable or both. Michelle wrote, “It’s just so sweet to watch these guys and girls that are really in love. Love is in the air and it’s good for all of us to be around that.” “Even if,” she says, recounting a common occurrence if you have 19 children, “the little siblings have to go, ‘Oh no, they’re kissing again, oh my!’?” That can be so awkward, for sure. On the flip side, she should also be grateful that none of the little ones walked in on Ben and Jessa getting it in before they even left the church at their wedding. Jinger Duggar ?
