Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is a very talented actor with a very troubled personal life. Great Britain’s The Sun reports that paramedics arrived at the star’s house in London Tuesday night because he swallowed pills in what is believed to be a suicide attempt. “This is very sad. It was the opinion of those present that he tried to take his life,” an insider tells the newspaper . Earlier this month, The Tudors star checked into a five-star rehabilitation clinic in South Africa. It was his fifth stint in such a facility. Let’s all hope there’s still time for Rhys-Meyers to find his way. Police attended, and the man was taken by ambulance to a central London hospital. That was the end of our involvement.” A friend, meanwhile, says the actor “relapsed,” but did not try to kill himself.
