Brad Pitt’s new film, Killing Them Softly , features the actor as Jackie Cogan, the “point” for a hitman investigating the heist of a big Mafia poker game. Andrew Dominik wrote and directed the adaptation of George V. Higgins’ novel Cogan’s Trade , which was originally supposed to be the film’s name.
