Yawn . Wake us up when Miley Cyrus thrusts her crotch into an iced tea can again. With the new issue of Fashion hitting newsstands today, the magazine has released a few new photos from the singer’s featured spread, though these outtakes will not appear in the print publication. They’re also quite tame, especially when compared with some of Miley’s most recent antics. See for yourself: Far more intriguing? The following excerpt from Cyrus’ chat with Fashion , in which she basically says she’s on top of the pop music world and no other artist comes close. Are you listening, Lady Gaga ? “I feel like I’m in a different lane now,” Miley says. “When it comes to critics, I have my blinders on and I don’t really feel like I have to compete with other pop artists… At an office, everyone is trying to be boss. Pop music is the same. What I wear adds a factor that other girls can’t compete with.” Or what she does NOT wear, we suppose, considering her lack of attire when swinging on a wrecking ball. Do you think Miley is currently the top pop artist? Will her career last night? Is this just a phase? And can she please stop talking about sex with Matt Lauer ?!?
