Today, October 29, is National Cat Day 2013. Or as those of us who spend any time online call it, Tuesday. We kid … mostly. This is an actual thing today. What day isn’t National Cat Day, though? Do we really need a designated event to bow down to our adorable feline friends who rule the world wide web? No, but if it helps encourage their adoption, we’re all for it. Mother Cat With Kitten The event was first started in 2005, and this year organizers are hoping to find 10,000 shelter animals new homes. So really, what are you waiting for?
