Merry Christmas… From a Dog Riding a Roomba!

It’s snowing in some parts of the country. Many readers are likely sitting in front of a fire as they read this, having opened presents, reveled in the joy of their relatives and perhaps drank too much Eggnog. So, what could make Christmas better? How about a Boston Terrier dressed up in a festive outfit while riding a Roomba? Yup. That’s what we thought… Dog Rides Roomba for Christmas This Terrier (named Five) follows in a grand tradition, of course. Remember when that cat wore a shark costume and also rode a Roomba? Or when that cat wore a shark costume and rode a Roomba while hanging out with a shark-like baby ? Good times all around. National Cat Day 2013: Celebrate, Adopt a Feline Friend!

Today, October 29, is National Cat Day 2013. Or as those of us who spend any time online call it, Tuesday. We kid … mostly. This is an actual thing today. What day isn’t National Cat Day, though? Do we really need a designated event to bow down to our adorable feline friends who rule the world wide web? No, but if it helps encourage their adoption, we’re all for it. Mother Cat With Kitten The event was first started in 2005, and this year organizers are hoping to find 10,000 shelter animals new homes. So really, what are you waiting for? Her Trailer: Joaquin Phoenix Gets Cozy With a Computer

People are attached to their electronics, this is not news. However, Spike Jonez is taking that attachment to the extreme with his newest film,  Her. Joaquin Phoenix stars in the new film about a newly single man who finds a friend in a new artificial intelligence operating system that appears to be Apple’s Siri with a more powerful brain.  Things start out with Phoenix and his new OS living the dream, but soon things turn weird. And creepy. Creepy and weird. Check out the Her  trailer below! Her Trailer Joining Phoenix are Amy Adams and Scarlett Johansson.  Her opens in theaters on November 20th.

Cat Wears Shark Costume, Rides Around on Roomba

The headline of this article really says all that needs to be said. In one of the funniest YouTube videos of the summer, a cat dons a shark outfit and calmly rides around on a Roomba… while its own casually goes about her kitchen routine as if this takes place everyday.
