Hot New Hip Hop is reporting that Succeed Phlyguy was been murdered. According to reports, the MC born Ronnie Cravens Jr, his roommate, a cousin and a friend were at their Henderson apartment when a number of men rushed the entrance. “[The roommate] said as soon as they kicked the door open after they told him to get on the ground that they jacked a rifle back.” Ronnie Cravens Sr. explained to KSNV . “It’s a very devastating blow to any parent.” The friend who was there detailed the crime on Instagram. “They told me a succeed to get on the ground. We were the only ones in the kitchen at the time, I got down, while getting down succeed said ‘oh sh*t’ and ran toward the front door. Shots rang out.” The unnamed associate went on to say that Phlyguy’s demise came when he tried to flee the scene when his cousin exchanged in gunfire with the assailants. His friend played dead until he was certain everyone else in the home was not breathing. Local police have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing. During an interview on the Ellen Show , comedian Tiffany Haddish was participating in the “Burning Questions” segment with host Ellen Degeneres , that put Haddish in the hot seat. During the segment, Haddish was asked questions about what she looks for in a man and what she likes to do naked, but things took an interesting twist when the comedian expounded on her dating history, specifically celebrities, disclosing that Chingy was a former flame. “Chingy…I mean, it was a hookup,” Haddish said with a smile. “That was the early 2000s, y’all. I don’t even know if that counts anymore.” After clips of the mention spread online, Chingy took to his Instagram , in a since-deleted post, to clear up the rumor, jokingly calling Tiffany Haddish a liar before clarifying it was his brother she dated, not him. “Now @tiffanyhaddish knows damn well that’s a lie an since she lied I’m a tell the truth she use to hook up with my brother not me but she liked me,” he wrote. “Hey if we gone be honest let’s be honest #chingy #facts #juslikethat.” In other Chingy news, the St. Louis rapper recently appeared on BET’s streaming series #FindingBET and discussed his departure from Ludacris ‘s DTP record label and revealed the reason behind his long hiatus. In the interview, Chingy states that at the time he was advised by a newly acquired lawyer that his former label was stealing funds from him. “I hired a lawyer, he was a family lawyer or injury attorney I’m not sure, I was a kid,” Chingy recalled. “I brought him in and the first thing he said was ‘DTP is stealing from you’. So I was trying to talk [to Ludacris and Chaka] but we never could really talk because every time we tried it was just a bunch of people in their feelings so I didn’t want to talk no more. But I still can’t say to this day whether they stole from me or not, because I was a kid and I didn’t know the business.” Chingy goes on to say that although the allegation was there, it was never proven and he regrets the decision because he according to him, led to his blackballing in the industry. The “Right Thurr” rapper also divulged that his beef with Nelly wasn’t intentional and that he feels it was fueled by politics. “I had just put out my second album, Jackpot , which was a great album, but after the issue with DTP, my label put very little promotion into it, so now I am sitting here with a good album that no one knows about. So fast forward and I’m at this show and I see Nelly and he came up to me and gave me a hug; well DTP was there and I guess he saw someone from that camp looking at us because before we could take a photo-he just walks off. Source: Apega/WENN.com / WENN A Man Tried To Steal Halle Berry’s House Using A Fake Deed Halle Berry was really close to returning to her Hollywood home to find the locks changed and a strange man living inside. According to TMZ , law enforcement sources say that 59-year-old Ronald Eugene Griffin first showed up at the Los Angeles property owned by the actress back in January and allegedly fiddled with the locks, but took off when he was approached by her gardener. A couple months later, in March, cops received a trespassing call from workers at Berry’s home, who said Griffin was there with a locksmith trying to get in, also claiming that he was the new owner of the home and had the deed to prove it. Not only did Griffin try to make his way into the house, he reportedly already managed to have one of the locks changed, and even made a call to the police when he was confronted by the employees at the house. When police arrived, Griffin maintained that he was the owner of the house, but LAPD detectives quickly determined that he had fraudulently changed the title of the residence. Halle told the detectives she had no idea who he was and most definitely did not give him permission to be at her home. Griffin was later arrested and hit with a felony count of procuring and offering a false warranty deed and an additional count of petty theft. His bond’s set at $36k. TMZ also reported that Griffin apparently didn’t even know the house he was trying to steal was Halle Berry’s place–it was just a coincidence. As for Halle, this isn’t the first time she’s had major issues with intruders. Back in 2011, she came home, walked in the kitchen and told cops, “As I opened my glass kitchen door and closed it behind me, all of a sudden I sensed someone behind me and turned to see the intruder standing less than a foot behind me, staring through my glass kitchen door.” That guy also ended up being arrested.
