Alabama Man Electrocuted By iPhone Charging Chord If you — like most people — go to be with your iPhone charging next to you in the sheets…you may want to consider changing up that routine . A Huntsville, AL man is recovering from a hospital stay after being severely electrocuted by the exposed prongs of his iPhone’s charger. According to Washington Post , 32-year-old Wiley Day fell asleep with his iPhone charging overnight via an extension cord in the bed next to him. The next morning, Wiley rolled over as we woke up. However, the prongs of his phone charger had come out of the extension outlet sometime in the night. As he rolled over, a dog-tag necklace that he had worn to bed made contact with the exposed prongs of the charger head, causing the the metal chain to conduct the electricity straight to his neck. YIKES! A lot of factors played into this one, but still. Try to keep your electronics and such off the bed when you’re sleeping. Washington Post

Let the speculation begin anew! Days after Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis were spotted at a Los Angeles Lakers game and many wondered why the latter was sporting a giant ring on her finger, the actor has wished fans a happy new year. And he’s signed his message from “The Kutchers.” Despite their prominent A-List status, Kutcher and Kunis have remained very coy about their relationship. The actress scarcely flaunted her baby bump in public prior to giving birth this fall , while the pair got engaged in February without any kind of tabloid cover story or major announcement or anything. So it wouldn’t be a stunner if they really did go ahead and get married on the down low. Last summer, in fact, Kunis told W magazine that she wanted to exchange vows in the opposite manner of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. “I never wanted to get married. From the age of 12, I prepared my parents for no marriage,” she said at the time. “Then things changed – I found the love of my life. “Now my theory on weddings is: Don’t invite anyone. Do it privately and secretly. My parents are okay with that. They’re just excited that I said yes.” Kutcher has said little on the topic of marriage, but did gush over his baby mama to Elle DeGeneres last month. “She’s the greatest mom. I go to work every day and I come home and she’s, like, perfect,” he said. “And it just seems like everything went amazing…It’s unbelievable. She’s incredible.” 21 TV Couples Who Dated in Real Life 1. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis The running joke during That 70s Show was that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis should date in real life. Now they’re engaged with a baby on the way.
The mother of Leelah Alcorn, the transgender teen who killed herself after her parents shunned her identity, still will not support her orientation or even acknowledge it. “We don’t support that, religiously,” Carla Alcorn told CNN in an interview, one week after Leelah Alcorn (born Joshua Alcorn) committed suicide in Ohio. “But we told him that we loved him unconditionally. We loved him no matter what. I loved my son. People need to know that I loved him. He was a good kid, a good boy.” Using masculine pronouns to talk about Leelah throughout the interview, Carla Alcorn has faced backlash for consistently referring to Leelah as “Joshua.” In her suicide note, dated to publish on her Tumblr after she walked in front of a truck at 2:30 a.m. on I-71, Leelah called for her death to mean something. She also wrote about the issues that transgender people face, and detailed how her parents pulled her out of school and took away her electronics. That almost led her to suicide, she said, but once her parents let her see her friends again, she became happy. Unfortunately, the feeling didn’t last. “The only way I will rest in peace is if one day transgender people aren’t treated the way I was,” her suicide note reads. “My death needs to mean something.” “My death needs to be counted in the number of transgender people who commit suicide … I want someone to look at that number and say ‘that’s f–ked up’ and fix it.” “Fix society,” she pleaded. “Please.” Signed, “(Leelah) Josh Alcorn.” Leelah Alcorn Photos: R.I.P. 1. Leelah Alcorn Photo Leelah Alcorn, an Ohio transgender teen born Joshua Alcorn, has taken her own life, and left behind a suicide note begging for that to mean something. Carla said she and her husband couldn’t afford the surgery required for transition, and her Internet ban was due to her viewing “inappropriate material.” Leelah’s death and note have caused outrage and, ironically, even some hate notes against her parents for the perception of their treatment of Leelah. Carla said people have been calling her and her husband “horrible people” for the way they dealt with their daughter, which included conversion therapy. About two months before her death, Leelah reached out to Reddit, asking users to help her understand whether or not she was facing abuse by her parents. After several users commented back, she drew a conclusion that she summed up as follows, ” I don’t think it’s considered abuse , just s–tty parenting.”

This will be the second set I have used for digital signage. The Software is not intuitive and lacking capabilities that others have. You can#39;t complain to much about “free” though. The set works well and has all the inputs needed for computer, component, HDMI and video. Even an onboard tuner can be mixed into the USB signage playback. One glaring problem with the firmware is the NON ability to start playing from the USB drive upon startup. If I set the turn ON TIME, the USB source is not on
Amanda Seyfried had fun on the set of Les Misérables . In a photo feature shoot with Vanity Fair.com , the actress, who plays adopted daughter Cosette to Hugh Jackman’s Valjean, talks about how she and her co-star invented “alternative story lines that transformed their characters’ tender relationship into something altogether less innocent,” according to the website. Seyfried, who shares what the magazine describes as Jackman’s “wildly inappropriate sense of humor,” , says, “We sexualized everything as much as we could. It was really funny, the moments we could find . . . It’s like every movie has another version, another satirical version of itself.” Hmm….wildly inappropriate sense of humor, huh? I’d say that makes Jackman a prime suspect in the international headlines-making James Marsden IMDb bio-tampering case that I wrote about on Nov. 14. The Bachelorette actor told the Hollywood Reporter that “a famous actor friend of mine,” whom he would not finger by name, “likes to go into other people’s bios and add things,” which resulted in IMDb’s erroneous assertion that Marsden is a big Barry Manilow fan. While saying someone’s a fan of the “Mandy” man is not exactly wildly appropriate, it sure sounds like the kind of prank that a show-tunes loving actor like Jackman — who co-starred with Marsden in the X-Men films — might play on a pal. I’ve asked Marsden’s spokeswoman if the actor would like to comment and will update accordingly, but in the meantime, check out these sexy shots of Seyfried, more of which can be found at VF.com .
