Fergie: I Hallucinated Crazy $hit While on Crystal Meth!

In promotion of her first solo album in 11 years, Fergie has opened up in a new interview about her past drug use. And the artist has held absolutely nothing back. “At my lowest point, I was [suffering from] chemically induced psychosis and dementia,” Fergie tells the United Kingdon’s iNews about her use of crystal meth. This was back in the early 2000s, she says. “I was hallucinating on a daily basis. It took a year after getting off that drug for the chemicals in my brain to settle so that I stopped seeing things. “I’d just be sitting there, seeing a random bee or bunny.” Wow. That’s pretty crazy and intense. Fergie also says her weight plummeted to around 90 pounds during this time. The artist’s hallucinations became so serious, Fergie says candidly, that she believed the CIA, FBI and a SWAT team were following her around. She eventually sought solace in a church, the only place she felt safe and protected. But then she had a breakthrough that probably saved her life. “I remember thinking: ‘If I walk outside, and the SWAT team’s out there, I was right all along. “But if they’re not out there, then it’s the drugs making me see things and I’m going to end up in an institution. “And if it really is the drugs, I don’t want to live my life like this any more, anyway.’ “I walked out of the church; obviously there was no SWAT team, it was just me in a parking lot. It was a freeing moment.” Fergie admits the drugs were “a hell of a lot of fun” for a period. Until, of course, they weren’t. “It’s so incredible, I know. I think I must have guardian angels,” the singer says of simply being alive. Prior to this honest spilling of very personal details, Fergie made news in September for her separation from Josh Duhamel . The stars had been married for eight years when they made this announcement and they share a four-year old son, Axl. Early on in this interview, Fergie says she’s proud of Duhamel for directing a new movie and says the pair tries to FaceTime with their child as often as possible when on the road. They are clearly on solid terms. Says the singer of her estranged husband and their priorities: “I’ve just released my first solo album in 11 years, and I’m out promoting it. So there’s a lot going on. “That’s why we wanted to find our footing with our separation before we announced it publicly: to make sure we really got it together for our kid. “It’s a constant juggling act.” Considering where she’s been in the past, though, it’s something we have no doubt Fergie can figure out and make work. Just take a look at how far she’s come.

Larry Nassar: U.S. Team Doctor Who Molested Over 140 Girls Sentenced to 60 Years

Back in October, Olympic gymnast  McKayla Maroney revealed how she was molested by her team doctor , Larry Nassar. In November, teammate Aly Raisman added her name to the list of over 140 young women with their own stories of abuse in the guise of medical care by Dr. Nassar. On Thursday, Larry Nassar was sentenced — not for sex abuse, but for child pornography charges. Dr. Larry Nassar, who is 54 years old, has been in prison while awaiting sentencing. During that time, McKayla Maroney and Aly Raisman revealed that Dr. Nassar had molested them , sharing their heartbreaking #MeToo stories with the world. Like so many others, these Olympic superstars describe Dr. Nassar, at the time their team doctor, administering “treatments” to them under the guise of medical practice. Olympic athletes (and others) often require legitimate therapies such as massage. Nassar, it is described, would use these as opportunities to molest the young girls who had been entrusted to his care. These monstrous deeds are evil to their core and unforgivable. But, though Nassar has pleaded guilty to 10 counts of sexual assault (a drop in the bucket compared to the number of accusers), it is not for these heinous crimes that he’s been sentenced. Larry Nassar was on trial for possession of child pornography. How much child pornography ? … asked virtually no one. He was found to have come into possession of 37,000 images that constitute child pornography. That almost certainly means that he was collecting photos of very real children who are victims or who were victims. Awful on its own, particularly if he then shared those images or in any way financially compensated the ones who gave them to him. Dr. Nassar was also accused of trying to destroy those images in order to avoid being held accountable for possessing child pornography. His sentence: 60 years in federal prison. Federal Judge Janet Neff explained (though she really didn’t need to) her reasoning behind the decision: That Larry Nassar “should never again have access to children.” We strongly agree. Possibly influencing the judge’s decision were impact statements from Nassar’s many victims, including McKayla Maroney. “Dr. Nassar was not a doctor, he in fact is, was, and forever shall be, a child molester, and a monster of a human being.” Agreed. “It all started when I was 13 or 14 years old, at one of my first National Team training camps, in Texas, and it didn’t end until I left the sport.” That is a nightmare. “It seemed whenever and wherever this man could find the chance, I was ‘treated.’ It happened in London before my team and I won the gold medal, and It happened before I won my Silver Medal.” Awful. “For me, the scariest night of my life happened when I was 15 years old. I had flown all day and night with the team to get to Tokyo.” This is not new information, and matches what she disclosed months ago. But that doesn’t mean that it was any easier for her to write. “He’d given me a sleeping pill for the flight, and the next thing I know, I was all alone with him in his hotel room getting a ‘treatment.’ I thought I was going to die that night.” McKayla’s mother, Erin Maroney, also gave an impact statement about how this traumatic experience changed her daughter’s life. “This experience has been shattering to McKayla.” Of course it was. “She has transformed from a bubbly, positive, loving, world class athlete into a young adult who was deeply depressed, at times suicidal and essentially descended into an emotional abyss.” Abusing a child is a tragedy that can never be undone. They can heal, but they’ll never recover the formative years that they lost to trauma. “At times I was unsure whether I would open her bedroom door and find her dead.” We are eternally grateful that this monster’s abuses did not claim McKayla’s life. “Her father and I have been living this nightmare for years and until recently we felt hopeless. Nassar and those individuals and institutions that protected him almost snuffed out my daughter.” Michegan State University is accused of having helped to cover up Larry Nassar’s crimes. They adamantly deny it. View Slideshow: Hollywood Sex Scandal: Who’s Been Caught? Accused? Fired?

Parents Scream Bigoted Remarks To Winning Robotics Team SMH Via The Root Some salty-azz parents in Indiana decided to be trifling after losing to five Black and Latinx 9-and 10-year-olds in a citywide robotics championship in Indianapolis. The parents and their rotten children screamed “Go back to Mexico” at the winning robotics squad according to witnesses. “They were pointing at us and saying that ‘Oh my God, they are champions of the city all because they are Mexican. They are Mexican, and they are ruining our country,’ ” said Diocelina Herrera, the mother of one of the children. The teacher who lead the team says the kids are written off because of their race when competing. “For the most part, the robotics world is kind of a white world,” said Lisa Hopper, the team’s coach and a Pleasant Run second-grade teacher. “They’re just not used to seeing a team like our kids. And they see us and they think we’re not going to be competition. Then we’re in first place the whole day, and they can’t take it,” she said. The kids seemed pretty stealthy after being racially targeted. The team’s leader, who is 10 said they couldn’t stop his shine! “They yelled out rude comments, and I think that they can talk all they want because at the end we’re still going to Worlds.” He added “It’s not going to affect us at all. I’m not surprised because I’m used to this kind of behavior.” SMH at the kids being used to these types of racial attacks already! The kids are raising money to get to the world championship. George "The Animal" Steele Dies; WWE Legend Was 79

The WWE universe has lost a legend. George “The Animal” Steele, one of the wildest, most beloved and unpredictable superstars in the history of the company, has passed away from kidney failure. He was 79 years old. Born William James Myers, The Animal’s death was confirmed by WWE management and also by the ex-athlete’s wife, Patricia. She told TMZ Sports that Steele had been in and out of hospice care since last April. Prior to breaking into the sports entertainment business, Steele earned his Master’s Degree from Central Michigan University and became a high school teacher and wrestling coach in the Detroit, Michigan area. During this time in his life, Steele started to dabble in the world of professional wrestling, first appearing inside a WWE ring in 1967, where he feuded with WWE Champion Bruno Sammartino. Other feuds for Steele during this period included battles with Pedro Morales and Bob Backlund. He never won the title, but Steele was considered a strong, often-used villain for about two decades. Then, in 1985, a storyline found The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff abandoning Steele during a match. As a result, the wrestler ended up being managed by Caption Lou Albano, transforming into an oddball of a fan favorite with a green tongue and a penchant for eating the insides of a turnbuckle. In response to his death, Hulk Hogan Tweeted the following this morning: “My brother, only love, only grateful.” Added former wrestling manager and executive Jim Cornette: “Sorry to hear of the passing of George “The Animal” Steele–top star, great guy, had some fun car trips/talks with him in the 90’s. #RIP.” Here’s a look at other social media reactions from members of the WWE family: John Layfield : Got the privilege of traveling the world with George ‘The Animal’ Steele and enjoyed every minute of it. Leonard Myers Dies; Former New England Patriot Was 38

Sad news out of the sports world today, as former NFL cornerback Leonard Myers has passed away at the age of 38. Reports of Myers’ death were confirmed by TMZ just moments ago. Myers played his rookie season with the New England Patriots in 2001, the year that a young Tom Brady led the team to a Super Bowl victory over the St. Louis Rams. Myers went on to play for the New Orleans Saints, New York Jets, and Detroit Lions, but he would never again experience the sort of on-field success he enjoyed in that first year in New England. Myers experienced a string of bad luck after leaving football in 2005, following a brief sojourn in the CFL. That same year, he made headlines for selling his Super Bowl ring on eBay for $32,600. Myers had reportedly been battling cancer for several years at the time of his death. Before being drafter by the Patriots, Myers made a name for himself at the Univesrity of Miami as the team’s standout defensive back. A three-year starter for the Canes, Myers aided in the program’s historic rebound. The team went 5-6 his freshman year and 11-1 his senior year. Sadly, Myers would not experience the same level of success in the pros. In interviews, he often expressed his frustration with the Patriots coaching staff, who decided at the last minute to deactivate him prior to Super Bowl XXXVI. Myers says he was told he would start in the game, and it wasn’t until pregame warm-ups that Bill Belichick and company decided to remove him from the roster in favor of activating another offensive lineman. Those who knew Myers best say his disappointment at not realizing his boyhood dream of being able to take the field at the Super Bowl lingered for the rest of his days.  Most recently, Myers worked as he wide receivers coach at New Mexico Highlands University in 2015. Today, both Patriots and Hurricanes football fans are mourning Myers on social media. Though he may not have distinguished himself in the highly competitive world of the NFL, fans and teammates say his spirit and cn-do attitude made him a player they’ll never forget.
