Amy Roloff Confirms Yet Another Major Life Change

Amy Roloff has seen her life flipped around and turned upside down over the past several weeks. And now — based on an Instagram update from the Little People, Big World star — it doesn’t look like things are about to calm down any time soon. First, a Amy Roloff recent refresher, bringing followers up to date on what’s been going on with the reality star: Just about a month ago, the mother four announced that boyfriend Chris Marek had proposed after three years of dating and that the two were finally engaged . He did so during a romantic dinner, prompting Amy to tell People Magazine a day later: “I’m excited, I’m so surprised, I’m thrilled! “I never in a million years thought I’d be getting married again, but I also hoped for it! Now that it’s happening, I couldn’t be happier or more excited.” Sadly, about 10 days later, Amy’s mother passed away after a lengthy illness . In her first comments after the tragedy, Amy acknoweldged the “roller coaster” of “happy and sad” emotions that has comprised her universe of late. Truly, we can only imagine. Fast forward about three weeks and Amy was posting pictures from her family’s Oregon farm in celebration of pumpkin season. This is when she alerted fans to the next significant life change about to take place. “Wow! How can Roloff Farms Pumpkin season be here already? And 20 plus years? It’s been a blast and full of wonderful times and memories,” she wrote as a caption to a photo of her and Chris, adding: “And more memories to make. What a family legacy I’ve love sharing w/ you. The Fall season is here, and there is So Much to love about Fall. My favorite season.” Roloff went on to write about the farm in the past tense, mentioning how many people she has “met,” and how much it has “impacted” her life, as it “gave me the gift of raising my kids here for through out their growing up years.” Wait a minute , some fans, asked: Is Amy still living on the farm? “Yes but not for long [we’ll] see what Matt and I can decide on about the farmhouse,” Roloff replied to this question. A few months ago, following some contentious back and forth that aired on TV, Amy agreed to sell Matt her portion of Roloff Farms . She still has some say over how the property is run, but she confirmed in this post six days ago that she’ll soon be moving away. “I finally found one I can make my home for a while. Woohoo!” Amy told followers last week, not offering up many other details about her new residence. We’re not even sure if she’s buying or renting, just that she’ll be living at a different address for the first time in decades. “I have chosen to buy (and Amy has chosen to sell) me only one side of the farm at this time,” Matt explained back in June. “Not the original farmstead… not the side with the pumpkin patch or her house… for now she is only selling me her partial share of ownership in the side (DW) that I live on… “She will remain in her house (and on the farm) and 1/2 owner of our original farm until she decides to leave … At that time we will jointly work to sell the side she lives on together. “This may happen in the future, but it’s not happening yet.” UPDATE: It appears as if this may soon be happening. We’ll keep readers apprised when we learn more about the situation. View Slideshow: Little People, Big World: The Roloffs’ Shocking Scandals… Exposed! [Updated]

Hi Hater: Samuel L. Jackson Responds To Martin Scorsese’s Comments About Marvel Movies Not Being Cinema

Source: Paras Griffin / Getty Samuel L. Jackson Gives His Two Cents On Martin Scorsese’s Marvel Comments Martin Scorsese’s comments about Marvel films rubbed a lot of fans the wrong way, but MCU star Samuel L. Jackson’s unbotheredness is something we should all aspire to when responding to haters. Jackson–who has been in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since day one in his role as Nick Fury—spoke to Variety about Scorsese’s comments, saying, “I mean that’s like saying Bugs Bunny ain’t funny. Films are films. Everybody doesn’t like his stuff either. Everybody’s got an opinion, so I mean it’s okay. Ain’t going to stop nobody from making movies.” Of course, Samuel L. wasn’t the only Marvel alum to share their feelings on Scorsese’s belittling comments. Guardians of the Galaxy  director James Gunn really wasn’t happy with Scorsese’s criticisms. He tweeted on Friday, “Martin Scorsese is one of my 5 favorite living filmmakers. I was outraged when people picketed The Last Temptation of Christ without having seen the film. I’m saddened that he’s now judging my films in the same way.” Martin Scorsese is one of my 5 favorite living filmmakers. I’m saddened that he’s now judging my films in the same way. https://t.co/hzHp8x4Aj8 — James Gunn (@JamesGunn) October 4, 2019 The filmmaker then went on to clarify his comments in another tweet, making sure he wasn’t blowing the comparison out of proportion. He wrote,  “And I’m not saying religious zealotry is the same as not liking my movies, or in the same category. What I’m saying is I’m not fond of people judging things without actually seeing them, whether it’s a movie about Jesus or a genre.” And I’m not saying religious zealotry is the same as not liking my movies, or in the same category. What I’m saying is I’m not fond of people judging things without actually seeing them, whether it’s a movie about Jesus or a genre. — James Gunn (@JamesGunn) October 4, 2019 These responses from MCU stars and fans alike come after a recent interview with Empire , where Scorsese was specifically asked about Marvel. The director went on to argue that the 20+ MCU films should be considered something other than cinema. “I don’t see them,” he proclaimed. “I tried, you know? But that’s not cinema. Honestly, the closest I can think of them, as well made as they are, with actors doing the best they can under the circumstances, is theme parks. It isn’t the cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to another human being.”

Terrence Howard Gives Head-Scratching Explanation For Quitting Acting

See more here:

Source: Noel Vasquez / Getty Earlier this month we reported that Empire actor Terrence Howard announced that he would be done acting following the conclusion of this season of filming. He was asked about decision on before the Emmy’s this past Sunday. His answer was very… bizarre. Terrence Howard explaining why he left Empire is the funniest thing you’d see today. Lmaooo pic.twitter.com/OeTHSZn1Rz — JAGS (@EtniesJags) September 24, 2019 “I’ve spent 37 years pretending to be people, so that people can pretend to watch and enjoy what I’m doing. I made some discoveries in my own personal life with the science that Pythagorus was searching for I was able to open up the flower of life properly and find the real wave conjugations that we have been looking for 10,000 years. Why would I continue to walk on water for tips when I’ve got an entire generation to teach a whole new world.” It appears that Terrence Howard believes he has found a greater purpose in life than just acting. Howard continued to talk about frequencies and wavelengths in life that make things make more sense. “All energy in the universe is expressed in motion, all motion is expressed in waves, all waves are curves so where do the straight lines, so when I took the flower of life and opened it properly I found a whole new wave conjugation that exposed space.” The second part of that answer really leaves more questions than it answers. But Howard seems pretty set on being done with acting, and appears to be moving into conspiracy theory territory. Nonetheless, I wish Terrance Howard prosperity in his life after acting. The new season of Empire premiered last night and will come on Tuesday night’s on FOX.

Can’t Nobody Tell Him Nothiiin: Lil Nas X Reveals What Made Him Come Out As Gay, Covers TIME Magazine In Gitty Up Gear

Source: Rich Fury / Getty Lil Nas X Covers TIME Magazine To say that the Summer belonged to Lil Nas X is an understatement. At just 20 years old, the Georgia rapper went from a unknown Twitter troll, to an extremely well known troll, whose song “Old Town Road” dethroned Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men as the longest-running No. 1 song in history. Now you can’t go anywhere without seeing his face, or hearing that song and it’s many remixes. View this post on Instagram When @lilnasx's debut single “Old Town Road” exploded online early this year and began climbing the charts, industry prognosticators anticipated a quick rise and fall. It’s now the longest-running No. 1 song in history, having occupied the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for 19 weeks. It’s been streamed more than a billion times on @spotify alone. All of this has made “Old Town Road” the defining sound of the year, a slurry, genre-busting interpolation of two quintessential American musical genres: #country and hip-hop. Yet even from his perch, writes Andrew R. Chow, Lil Nas is still an outlier. There aren’t many black stars in country #music; there aren’t many queer stars in #hiphop. There aren’t many queer black stars in American culture, point-blank. The fact that Lil Nas has risen so far and so fast testifies not only to his skill, but also to the erosion of the systems that for generations kept #artists like him on the sidelines. At a time when debates about categorization and identity are ubiquitous, Lil Nas X represents a more unified vision of the future, one in which a young #queer black man can dominate popular #culture by being unapologetically himself. “Everything lined up for this moment to take me to this place,” he says now. “Not to sound self-centered, but it feels like I’m chosen, in a way, to do this stuff.” Read more at the link in bio. In June, I’m seeing Pride flags everywhere and seeing couples holding hands — little stuff like that.” View this post on Instagram When @lilnasx recorded “Old Town Road” last fall, he was hoping it could be his way out of an unhappy life. Born Montero Lamar Hill outside #Atlanta in 1999, Lil Nas grew up poor, living with one parent or another—his mother and father split when he was 6. As he spent most of his teenage years alone, he began to live on the Internet and particularly Twitter, creating #memes that showed his disarming wit and pop-culture savvy. “It was like, I’m able to go viral, but I’m not promoting anything that’s gonna help me,” he says. “Until music came along.” A gifted vocalist since he was a child—his father is a gospel singer—Lil Nas began writing and recording songs in his closet. When, around last Halloween, he stumbled across a banjo-driven beat by the teenage Dutch producer @youngkio, he saw an opportunity to combine trap—a Southern-born #hiphop subgenre propelled by vicious bass and crawling tempos—with #country, which was experiencing a surge of popularity on the Internet. “Because it’s two polar opposites coming together, it’s funny no matter what it is,” he says. For the history of #music, artists like Lil Nas were the exception, writes Andrew R. Chow. Now, by definition, Lil Nas is the rule. Read more at the link in bio. Video by @khomariflashfilms and @alexandra_robson for TIME A post shared by TIME (@time) on Aug 15, 2019 at 8:48am PDT The young artist added that he was taught from a young age that homosexuality “is never going to be OK,” plus, he feared he might lose fans if he shared his truth. But quite the contrary, Lil Nas. His popularity has skyrocketed over the last few month, which is proof that authenticity ultimately wins. Apparently there’s a lot more we didn’t know about the country rap crooner. Check out Lil Nas X’s full interview here .

Matt Barnes Wants Gloria Govan’s Child Support Lowered Because Of Dirty Mack Derek Fisher

Source: FayesVision/WENN.com / WENN Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan have been locked in an ongoing battle of wills over their long-ended marriage and child support arrangements for some time now. Now, the retired NBA player wants to have his child support payments because of the dirty mack specialist, Derek Fisher. The Blast reports : According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Barnes is trying to get to the bottom of Govan’s financial situation and claims she has been less than forthcoming about how she gets by. Barnes’ attorneys claim Govan’s last income and expense declaration stated she was not employed but received $1,250 in monthly income. Even more confusing, she lists $19,338 in monthly expenses. The attorneys argue that Govan has “failed to declare the amount [Derek Fisher] contributes to her monthly expenses.” Over a month ago, Govan claimed that Barnes owed her $40,000 in back child support payments. — Photo: WENN

Source: Hulton Archive / Getty When  Marvel  announced on Saturday that they were not only bringing Blade back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe but that  Mahershala Ali  would be playing the character, fans were of course hype as hell. However, they also asked a rather interesting question — what happened to Marvel working with the original Blade,  Wesley Snipes ? Well, Snipes told fans to chill and embrace Ali! “To all the DAYWALKERS losing their minds right now, chillaaxx. Although the news comes as a surprise, it’s ALL good. Such is the ‘business’ of ‘entertainment!’ Much peace to the MCU crew – always a fan,” Snipes told Comic Book . “Honor and respect to the grandmaster Stan. Congratulations and Salaam to Mahershala Ali, a beautiful and talented artist whose expressions I look forward to experiencing for many years to come. Inshallah, we will someday work together. Most importantly to my loyal fans, the incredible outpouring of love is overwhelming. I am grateful for the never-ending support. So, ‘nah fret nah worry, it’s not de end of de story.’ Welcome to the Daywalker Klique.” Blade doesn’t have a release date unlike other upcoming Marvel titles such as  Black Widow  (May 1, 2020), The Eternals  (November 6, 2020), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on (February 12, 2021), WandaVision (Spring 2021), Loki (Spring 2021), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (May 7, 2021), What If…? (Summer 2021), Hawkeye (Fall 2021), or Thor: Love and Thunder (November 5, 2021). But to say it’s not one of the most anticipated MCU films would be more than an understatement. Tom Holland & Zendaya Talk Internet Chatter, Euphoria & Spider-Man: Far From Home

The rest is here:

Tom Holland and Zendaya work magic together on the big screen in the latest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: Far From Home. The first movie after the events of Avengers: Endgame, it has a giant responsibility to be great and it doesn’t disappoint. I went out to London in the United Kingdom to sit down with Zendaya, Tom Holland and Jacob Batalon. Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years one of the biggest rumors is, “Are Tom Holland and Zendaya dating” and during the press for this movie people have been doing a lot of speculation about that subject in order to get a confirmation. I’m sure there will be even more assumptions after people finally get to see Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 2nd, 2019 when it hits theaters. I asked Tom and Zendaya what are they expecting the chatter to be like once the film is released and Tom, blushed while saying, “The obvious things.” While Zendaya gushed, “It’s there, and it will always be there.”  Tom then revealed he is excited for people to see the movie, “We make this film for the fans, and always like to think we don’t present people with a film, we share a film with them. I’m just excited for the fans to be a part of this process, we’ve all loved being a part of this process and making it and now it’s time to share it and I really can’t wait to hear what people think.” During the rest of the interview, Tom and Jacob talk about watching Euphoria for the first time and what they thought about the show when Zendaya told them she was starring in the latest HBO show. I also asked Zendaya which high school life is more like real life high school, Euphoria or Spider-Man, she said, “It’s two different experiences and it depends on people’s walks of life.” To which Tom poked fun at me saying, You would rather elemental creature destroying their high schools? You would rather Thanos!” The entire interview was fun and definitely worth watching be sure to catch Spider-Man: Far From Home in theaters.
