Yesterday, during a meeting of the minds, Trump is said to have had a complete meltdown where berated Speaker Pelosi according to a Newsweek report that quoted Senator Chuck Schumer: Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer revealed that Trump called Pelosi a “third-rate politician” during the meeting. “He was insulting, particularly to the Speaker. She kept her cool completely, but he called her a third-rate politician,” he told reporters. “This was not a dialogue, it was sort of a diatribe. A nasty diatribe, not focused on the facts.” Pelosi later clarified that Trump had actually called her a “third-grade politician.” Trump, as he usually does, tried to flip the script and make Nancy out to be the looney-toon in the room. Brace yourselves, folks. Thomas Markle has given yet another interview. And he’s done so in light of his daughter and her beloved husband taking their most aggressive step yet to silence their critics and put the awful British tabloids in their place. Late last week, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry filed a lawsuit against The Daily Mail . They did so due to the publication’s alleged violation of the former’s privacy after it published excerpts from a letter Meghan wrote to her father many months ago. In his very powerful statement, trashing many outlets for their treatment of his wife, Harry never specifies the letter in question — but it’s widely believed to have been a message Meghan sent Thomas last spring, shortly after she got married. Thomas, of course, is the one who allowed this letter to be released. In this message, Meghan tells her dad that he has “broken [her] heart” by giving so many interview and airing his grievances in such public fashion. So… what has Thomas now done in response to Meghan and Harry’s lawsuit? He’s once again aired his grievances in public. “I decided to release parts of the letter because of the article from Meghan’s friends in People magazine,” Thomas told the Mail on Sunday, explaining why he betrayed his daughter’s confidence. “I have to defend myself. I only released parts of the letter because other parts were so painful. The letter didn’t seem loving to me. I found it hurtful.” This all gets a little complicated, but here is what Thomas is talking about, broken down by timeline: May 2018 : Harry and Meghan get married. Thomas does not attend the wedding. May/June 2018 : Meghan sends her dad a letter that talks about the “painful attacks” against her and Harry he has made in the recent past, asking him to please keep stop doing that. Summer 2018 : a friend of Markle’s tells People Magazine that Thomas requested a “photo op” with Meghan after receiving her letter, which was the “opposite” of what Meghan was hoping he would do or say. Early 2019 : Thomas releases Meghan’s letter to the press. And now? Thomas is saying that this People Magazine article is what set him off and gave him no choice but to expose his child’s heartfelt plea to the world. “I don’t recognize the person who wrote the letter but I still love my daughter,” Thomas told The Mail on Sunday, adding: “All it would take is one phone call and most of this craziness would stop.” And we’re sure Thomas will get it after going to the very same outlet to which he released Meghan’s letter several months ago. No doubt. The Mail on Sunday reported that Thomas is also upset by false claims that he requested and received payment for releasing parts of the letter. The outlet stated that no payment was requested or given for their article on Saturday. Meghan and Harry’s law firm released a statement last week saying the following: “We have initiated legal proceedings against the Mail on Sunday, and its parent company Associated Newspapers, over the intrusive and unlawful publication of a private letter written by the Duchess of Sussex, which is part of a campaign by this media group to publish false and deliberately derogatory stories about her, as well as her husband. “Given the refusal of Associated Newspapers to resolve this issue satisfactorily, we have issued proceedings to redress this breach of privacy, infringement of copyright and the aforementioned media agenda.” In a rare move, Harry also spoke out on this topic: “The contents of a private letter were published unlawfully in an intentionally destructive manner to manipulate you, the reader, and further the divisive agenda of the media group in question. In addition to their unlawful publication of this private document, they purposely misled you by strategically omitting select paragraphs, specific sentences, and even singular words to mask the lies they had perpetuated for over a year. A spokesperson for The Mail on Sunday later told E! First up, Jharrel Jerome’s win for When They See Us made him the youngest person to win an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie as well as the first Afro-Latino to win for acting, Deadline reported . He beat out other nominees Mahershala Ali ( True Detective ), Benicio Del Toro ( Escape at Dannemora ), Hugh Grant ( A Very English Scandal ), Jared Harris ( Chernobyl ) and Sam Rockwell ( Fosse/Verdon ). The 21-year-old earned the coveted trophy for his portrayal of the Exonerated Five-member Korey Wise , who, as a teenager, was wrongfully convicted of the rape and assault of Trisha Meili in 1989. During the young actor’s acceptance speech, he thanked his mother, show creator Ava DuVernay and the five men the limited series was based on. “I feel like I should just be in the Bronx right now, chilling, waiting for my mom’s cooking or something,” Jerome began. “But I’m here in front of my inspirations, I’m here in front of people who I’m so motivated by, and the reason I’m here is because [of] actors like the people I was in the category with. The Tony winner became the first openly gay Black man to win an Emmy in the Lead Actor category. Porter plays the iconic Pray Tell, on the hit FX show, which is set in New York City’s ball scene during the 1980s and ’90s at the height of the AIDS epidemic. He stars alongside Mj Rodriguez , Indya Moore , Dominique Jackson , Angelica Ross , and Hailie Sahar , the largest cast of trans actors on a TV show in history. “I am so overwhelmed and I am so overjoyed to have lived long enough to see this day,” the 50-year-old began, quoting James Baldwin : “It took many years of vomiting up the filth I was taught about myself and halfway believed before I could walk around this Earth like I had a right to be here.” “I have the right,” Porter continued. “You have the right. The rapper, who is in the midst of day three of testimony in a trial against his former manager and more had outed Jim Jones and Cardi B as alleged members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. A rep for Atlantic Records says that Cardi is not a member of the gang. In testimony, 6ix9ine called Jones a “retired rapper” and said that he was a member of the Nine Treys. The court also heard a wiretapped audio recording of Jones saying that Tekashi wasn’t a Blood no more. “He’s not a gang member no more,” Jones allegedly can be heard saying. “He was never a gang member. They going to have to violate shorty because shorty is on some bulls**t.” He allegedly said of Cardi that he knew her but did not mimic her meteoric rise by having members of the gang join him in music videos. “I knew who she was. I didn’t pay attention,” 6ix9ine allegedly told the court. Jon Gosselin has once again attacked his ex-wife for being a terrible mother. On its own, such an attack would scarcely be news; Jon has been doing this for about a decade. But the details of this verbal assault are different from his many past ones, most notably because they appear to be backed up by son Collin. The 15-year old was away from his family for many years due to what mother Kate Gosselin would simply refer to as “special needs.” Toward the very end of 2018, Jon took the teenager out of Fairmont Behavioral Health Institute and Collin has been living with his father ever since. For the very first time, meanwhile, we’re now learning about the details behind Collin’s estrangement from his family — and they are quite disturbing. “Dear Dad, I’m not trying to trick you, but I still love you,” Collin wrote in a June 2017 letter obtained by DailyMailTV this week. The letter continues as follows: “I told Mom I want to live with you, she said no. But right? She can’t choose for me. I’m old enough now, I’m YOUR son, not hers. “She was abusive to me after I left your house. I’m sorry. Take this to court because … you’re my dad, my savior.” The message does not explain exactly how Kate was allegedly abusive toward Collin. But the letter was reportedly leaked by Collin’s roommate, and it concluded: “Please help me and let me meet Colleen [Conrad, Jon’s girlfriend]. I’m counting on you to get me out of here. Daddy, I love you. save me. Please come FAST. I love you. Help me. BYE.” Jon himself then spoke to DailyMailTV and took maybe his harshest swipes ever at his ex-wife. Which is saying a ton, considering all the ways Jon has trashed Kate in the past. He said Collin had spent three years “caged” in the special needs institution despite only being diagnosed with ADHD, telling the outlet: “Kate … couldn’t deal with him. He was alone for three and a half years with no parents, all alone. It was inhumane.” After Jon received this troubling letter — written in crayon from his son — he “raised the money to get a lawyer and went through the courts to get joint legal custody” only to have Collin moved to another institution five hours away in Pittsburgh, he explains: “I’d drive out to Pittsburgh to visit him as much as I could and eventually it progressed to overnight stays before he was finally released into my custody.” Over the years, fans certainly noticed that Collin was not included in family photos with his siblings. Any time the subject was raised, Kate would not elaborate beyond the aforementioned description of Collin having “special needs,” saying this to People Magazine in 2016: [There’s] a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. This has been a struggle we’ve had for a very long time, and it’s one I’ve dealt with on my own. She and Jon divorced in 2009 after rising to fame on a TLC reality show that chronicled their lives as the parents of both twins and sextuplets. “It’s time America found out the truth about Kate, she isn’t the person you think she is,” Jon said of the reality star mom, who now has her own reality show titled Kate Plus Date. Jon won temporary custody of Collin in December 2018 after Kate no-showed a hearing to determine the future of her son. She has reportedly severed all ties from Collin , who lives with Jon these days in Pennsylvania. (His sister, Hannah, also lives with her dad, who remains very distant from his other six children.) “I know my children have suffered abuse and I know one day they’re going to tell their own story,’ Jon told DailyMail TV. “And sadly enough, I know what PTSD is. It’s really upsetting.” According to DHS documents seen by DailyMailTV, numerous allegations of suspected child abuse against Kate were investigated. However, the agency ultimately had determined the reports were unfounded due to a lack of evidence. “I think Kate has really poisoned my children’s minds against me,” Jon says of why never talks to three-quarters of his kids, adding: “She’s put stuff in their minds about my personality. I never cheated on my wife, I’m not a monster, I love my children more than anything… “I brought Collin home. He’s a great kid. I want the family unit together, I even want to co-parent.” As for why Jon is finally speaking out now? He signed a 10-year gag order as part of his divorce settlement — and those 10 years are now up. “There’s a lot of stuff I want to dispel, there’s a lot of untruths,” Jon concludes “I have watched my children suffer and I have not been able to say a word. Kate wanted the gag order because she didn’t want me speaking the truth. “I know everything. I lived it with her and without her. So I know every single thing that has transpired and what has been portrayed to the American public, it’s not all true.”
America most definitely has talent. After yet another summer of impressive singer, dancers, magicians and plenty more took to the NBC stage on a weekly basis, this much has been made clear. But who in America has the most talent? According to this beloved reality series? This question answered on the America’s Got Talent Season 14 finale on Wednesday night. Cue the drumroll and then cue the congratulatory message to… … KODI LEE! After weeks of competition, Lee was been crowned the latest champion yesterday evening, besting fellow finalists opera singer Emanne Beasha, violinist Tyler Butler-Figueroa, dance troupe Light Balance Kids, singer Benicio Bryant and Ndlovu Youth Choir in the process. “I feel so amazing,” he told Terry Crews after winning. “Unbelievable!” In many ways, this result felt preordained a long time ago. And also well-deserved. The 22 year-old singer and pianist is blind and autistic, yet neither of those attributes prevented him from putting on incredible performances all season long. He run to the title started back when he earned Gabrielle Union’s golden buzzer in the first audition episode of the season. In addition to the honor of being the winner, Lee takes home $1 million and will headline shows from November 7-10 at Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Along with his memorable vocal abilities, Lee’s life story quickly made him a Season 14 fan favorite. The Lake Elsinore, California, native was born with optic nerve hypoplasia and diagnosed with autism at age 4. His mother, Tina, accompanied him on stage for the entire competition Truly inspiring stuff all around. “He’s making people believe in something they didn’t even know is attainable. He’s magic,” Union previously told People Magazine of Lee. Speaking to the press about an hour after the finale, Lee exclaimed: “Heck, yeah! I’m a winner!” The finale features performances from the likes of Cher, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Leona Lewis. It also gave us a surprise reunion between Simon Cowell and his former fellow American Idol judge, Paula Abdul, who secretly performed with Light Balance Kids and only revealed herself at the end of the performance. Much to Cowell’s shock. In the end, though, it all came back to Lee and down to Lee. “Everybody rooted for him and he’s probably one of the most popular winners we’ve had on one of these shows,” Cowell said, concluding: “He’s got an amazing talent. … The guy’s just an absolute star.
