Yesterday, during a meeting of the minds, Trump is said to have had a complete meltdown where berated Speaker Pelosi according to a Newsweek report that quoted Senator Chuck Schumer: Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer revealed that Trump called Pelosi a “third-rate politician” during the meeting. “He was insulting, particularly to the Speaker. She kept her cool completely, but he called her a third-rate politician,” he told reporters. “This was not a dialogue, it was sort of a diatribe. A nasty diatribe, not focused on the facts.” Pelosi later clarified that Trump had actually called her a “third-grade politician.” Trump, as he usually does, tried to flip the script and make Nancy out to be the looney-toon in the room. Hailey Baldwin is just trying to enjoy spooky season in peace, but naturally, some people have to be complete witches. With October 31st just around the corner, Hailey Baldwin is in search of a Halloween costume and took to her Instagram Stories to ask her followers for help on what she should be this year. “Spooky season is upon us and I need good ideas for Halloween!!! Send some my way,” the model, who is very open about her religious views, wrote to her IG. And a few of her followers responded to her post by actually questioning her religious beliefs. “Aren’t you a christan?” one asked, to which the model responded, “Yes. I still dress up for Halloween.” “FAKE CHRISTIAN,” wrote another vicious hater . Baldwin took the chance to reply, killing the troll with kindness. “Our kids are gonna celebrate too,” she wrote with a smiley face, including her husband Justin Bieber in on their future family plan. While some Christians refuse to participate in Halloween due to its dark imagery and the idea that evil spirits come out to haunt the living, Hailey sees the fun in the holiday, and later said she liked the idea of Harley Quinn, Catwoman, or the Bride of Chucky. Dan Reed called Chappelle’s jokes about Michael Jackson ‘s rape accusers “revolting” and he said they made him “physically sick,” according to The Independent . Reed’s comments came after Dave Chappelle’s Netflix comedy special Stick & Stones went hard on Jackson’s rape accusers Wade Robson and James Safechuck . Dave flat out said that he doesn’t believe the alleged victims and even referred to himself as a “victim blamer.” He said if someone told him Jackson was molesting kids, he would respond “Well, what were those kids wearing at the time?” Chappelle also said that even if Michael did commit the acts, “This kid got his di** sucked by the king of pop. All we get is awkward Thanksgivings for the rest of our lives. You know how good it must have felt to go to school the next day after that sh**?” He continued, “I know it seems harsh, but somebody’s gotta teach these kids. No such thing as a free trip to Hawaii. He’s going to want to look at your butthole or something.” Director Dan Reed responded to Chappelle’s routine after Leaving Neverland , which documents the accounts of the alleged victims, won a Creative Arts Emmy on Saturday for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special. “Chappelle is riding on a wave of being contrarian, being controversial, and this, to me, was revolting,” he said. “I felt physically sick listening to what he was saying.” He continued, “You can make comedy out of so many other things. Why not do something brave instead of crapping on some victim of child rape?” Safechuck and Robson also responded to Chappelle’s comedy special not too long after it premiered. “I’m heartbroken for all those children who look to see how they will be received when they finally find the courage to speak out about their sexual abuse,” said Safechuck. “I just want to reach out to other survivors and let them know that we can’t let this type of behavior silence us. Together we are strong.” Robson added, “He can say whatever he wants. It reveals him, not us.” Jackson was under investigation twice for accusations that he molested children. He didn’t face charges in 1994, however, he went to trial in 2005 and was acquitted of all counts. Robson’s lawyer commented after Chappelle’s comedy special, saying “Although Mr. Chappelle is entitled to his opinions, however misinformed they may be, it’s unfortunate that he has chosen to use his platform to shame sexual abuse victims, and spread his ignorance of sexual abuse and the way it is perpetrated upon children, in an attempt to resurrect his career.”
T he late legendary basketball player Chuck Cooper was a trailblazer who broke color barriers in the realm of sports. 35 years after his passing, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native has finally received a long overdue honor. According to Celtics Wire , Cooper was posthumously inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He was selected by the Boston Celtics. Before he launched his NBA career, he broke racial barriers at the collegiate level while playing at Duquesne University where he was an All-American and became the first Black player to compete in a basketball game below the Mason–Dixon line. Cooper—who had a 6-foot-5 and 210-pound stature—spent four years with the Celtics and also had stints with the Milwaukee Hawks and the Ft. Wayne Pistons. His journey in the NBA was no easy feat. He had to deal with racist taunting from crowds and was banned from restaurants and hotels due to the color of his skin. After his time in the NBA, he played with the Harlem Magicians basketball enterprise but eventually ended his sports career after suffering back injuries from a car accident. Several basketball legends were in attendance to honor Cooper including Bill Russell , Kareem Abdul-Jabbar , Isiah Thomas , Julius Erving , Dominique Wilkins , and Ray Allen . “The NBA’s color barrier was broken, and the game of basketball forever changed,” said Cooper’s son said during the induction ceremony. “It truly amazes me how the early African American pioneers played at such a high professional level while having to sacrifice, endure, and withstand the overt racism and social injustice of that time period.” Black athletes who have forever changed the landscape of sports are finally being recognized by the organizations they’ve impacted. Cooper’s induction comes weeks after a sculpture of Althea Gibson —the first African American to win a Grand Slam title and the first Black person to win at Wimbledon—was recently unveiled outside of Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York during the U.S. Open tennis tournament. Source: fstop123 / Getty An Ohio Gym Teacher Has Been Charged With Molesting 28 First Graders According to People , an Ohio gym teacher is accused of sexually abusing 28 first-grade girls. John Austin Hopkins was reportedly charged with 36 counts of gross sexual imposition with 28 first-grade girls by a grand jury. The case began after a concerned father met with the principal at Clearcreek Elementary School after expressing concern when his daughter told him that she “got to sit on Mr. Hopkins lap.” So school administrators checked the footage from the gym’s security cameras and allegedly saw the girl sitting on Hopkins’ lap, confirming the parents concerns. John Austin Hopkins was immediately removed from the classroom and turned it over to the Springboro Police Department and a full investigation began prompting authorities to study security camera footage dating back to December 2018. In the video, Hopkins was allegedly seen putting his hands up the shirts and skirts of the girls. The grand jury was presented with incidences of alleged inappropriate touching of 88 different first grade girls. They decided to indict 36 counts of gross sexual imposition related to 28 different girls. The 36 sexual misconduct charges are all third-degree felonies, which each carry a 5-year maximum prison sentence.

In a year that’s seen cats come back to life thanks to a pet sematary, a doll named Chucky take on homicidal tendencies, and the return of a demonic dancing clown that feasts on children like they’re lemon pepper chicken wings, we’re now getting word that another 80’s horror icon is about to be resurrected for a new generation of horror buffs. According to Deadline , Clive Barker’s classic film Hellraiser is being rebooted by Spyglass Media Group and they’re handing over the reigns to celebrated writer/producer David S. Goyer ( Blade, The Dark Knight ). For y’all youngn’s that aren’t familiar with the Hellraiser franchise, it basically revolves around a rubik’s cube that can open a door to an alternate dimension where a demon known as Pinhead resides and who gets off on watching users suffer all kinds of bodily harm. Using specialized chains, hooks, and whips, victims immediately regret playing with fate and end up getting torn to pieces before becoming a part of his leatherclad click known as Cenobites. Since it’s debut in ’87, Hellraiser has seen 10 sequels (most of them were eh, but bloody and gory), and some graphic novels that it’s most hardcore fans collected over the decades. Though most remakes are suspect and usually cash grab moves, David S. Goyer is a proven veteran who’s made some classic joints over the years and as it turns out he’s a fan of the horror franchise, so this might actually turn out to be a genius move. Goyer said, “I’ve been a fan of Clive’s work since the original Books of Blood paperbacks and The Hellbound Heart novella. Having the chance to reimagine Pinhead and the Cenobites for a new audience is a nightmare-come-true. Gary is a true fan as well and we’re committed to making something dark and visceral.” No word on when Hellraiser will be landing in theaters but best believe we’ll be eagerly awaiting to see what kind of nightmare Goyer brings to the big screen.

Adding to the fallout, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis removed some artifacts of the later entertainer from their facility. IndyStar.com reports : The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis removed three Michael Jackson items from exhibits this month, joining a handful of organizations that have reassessed connections to the late singer following HBO’s airing of documentary film “Leaving Neverland.” The two-part film, which premiered March 3-4, focuses on Wade Robson and James Safechuck, two adult men who allege Jackson sexually abused them when they were children. “When we put together exhibitions, we look at the objects and their association with high-profile people,” said Chris Carron, the museum’s director of collections. “Obviously, we want to put stories in front of our visitors (showing) people of high character.” The estate of Michael Jackson has launched a lawsuit against HBO for putting out the documentary. — Photo: Getty
