A Teacher Told Students, “Don’t Be A Kevin Durant” And Kevin Durant Is Fed Up

Cindy Ord/Getty Images Kevin Durant Ain’t Having This Teacher’s Lesson A picture hit the internet of a teacher’s lesson plan that seems to have been handed out to all of their students. The text on the page has two major headlines, “DON’T BE A…. Kevin Durant ” and “DON’T BE A…Michael Jordan.” Two pretty bold statements. The KD picture even has huge crossout over the poor guy’s face. Teacher used handout to tell students to be like Michael Jordan, not Kevin Durant https://t.co/X8iDwCJ6bI | SB Nation pic.twitter.com/OQcq5nZFZ1 — ProFanz (@ProFanzForum) August 18, 2017 As you probably guessed, the text accompanying “DON’T BE A…Kevin Durant” has to do with his trade this past season, and basically saying don’t cut corners like this teacher thinks Durant did. “Don’t try to turn in an assignment if you have not done what is necessary and expected.” Bashing what’s probably some of the students’ favorite basketball player? Pretty harsh way to set up the semester. “DON'T BE A…Kevin Durant” “DO BE A …Michael Jordan” https://t.co/00R9nQg4HH — SB Nation (@SBNation) August 18, 2017 SB Nation retweeted the tweet, which helped Kevin Durant himself catch wind of this. He wasn’t too happy about the teacher’s advice. whoever did this should be fired and thrown in jail. — Kevin Durant (@KDTrey5) August 18, 2017 Pretty intense. Fired or thrown in jail? KD feels personally attacked, and I guess you can’t really blame him. This teacher was on one when they made this, and they might need to modify their teaching materials before next semester rolls around.
