Diane Lane is confirmed to star opposite Henry Cavill in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot as Martha Kent, the only mother Clark Kent has ever known. Granted, Lane plays Cavill’s adopted mother and has a solid 19-year lead on him (at least, in real life), but I’m still having flashbacks to a few months ago when Michelle Pfeiffer was cast as Chris Pine’s mother .
