Facebook will no longer supporting the product “Lite” version which was as seen a potential challenge to the microblogging site Twitter. Facebook based in California posted in their website statement as “We’re no longer supporting it, but learned a lot from the test of a slimmed-down site.” “If you used Lite, you’ll now be taken to the main Facebook.com site.” The Lite version of Facebook was a simplified version of social networking website that enabled people to make comments, accept Friend requests, write on people’s Walls, and look at photos and Status updates.
